Advantages: Makes things a lot easier giving you the chance to actually do something with your day when Ill

Disadvantages: Doesn't help with the actual problem, but who cares!

I was once advised by a nurse that Sudafed and the like only tend to enlarge the tissue in your sinuses, thus treating symptoms not any core issue. To be honest, I really don't care!

Nothing helps me feel better when I'm bogged down, apart from Sudafed (and maybe Olbas Oil!). Being self-employed, it is a bit of a crisis when I'm hit with flu or colds, and the whole operation is put out of action for however long it takes.

But after just a couple of these, I begin to feel much more able to carry on with what needs to be done. The problem may not be taken away, but the pressure is certainly relieved, stress levels go down, and I can work a thousand times better than without Sudafed.

I've also noticed that the associated headaches and pains are relieved to an extent when taking these, so if you feel totally tied up by your cold or flu - try these!!

Summary: The only medication I rely on when severely under the weather
