Syndol tablets are a brilliant painkilling remedy, but have, in my view, a quite potent addictive quality. These days I use the old favourites paracetamol and ibroprofen should I require an analgesic. There was a time, however, when I thought that these little yellow tablets were my salvation. I hadnt at that stage reached the point of addiction, and suffered the physical and mental effects of withdrawing from the codeine fix. *What is Syndol?*~ Syndol are painkilling tablets useful for the easing of mild to moderate pain. They are sold primarilly as a tension headache and migraine pain reliever, since they contain a substance Doxylamine ... Read the complete review

Once a month I find myself suffering from a rather nasty migraine headache. Sometimes I'm lucky, and it only lasts for 24 hours. Other times it can be an unwelcome invader of my head for up to 72 hours. I used to be able to keep the pain in abeyance with Migraleve Complete, but in the last few months or so, they haven't been as effective for me as they used to be. Maybe my body has become slightly immune to the benefits of this medication, but it just doesn't have the same effect on lessening my pain anymore. I therefore popped into my local Lloyds pharmacy and had a word with the pharmacist about any alternative over the counter medications he could ... Read the complete review

SYNDOL Syndol are tablets sold without prescription, but by a pharmacist, you usually have to ask for them. They are specially made to help with migraine headaches. They contain a muscle relaxant and I have been told they can become addictive. I think all painkillers are addictive. The packaging is simple bold and easy to spot. The tablet is quite large capsule shape, which is easy to cut in half. My Mother introduced me to them a couple of years ago and said just take half of one tablet if you have a head ache, especially if it is a tension headache. One hot afternoon in the office I decided to give one half only a go. Well, it certainly ... Read the complete review

These are brilliant for differnt types of injury. I came across them last year when a friend of mine who is a nurse advised me to try them. They are differnt from normal painkillers and they have an extra muscle relaxant to give them that extra kick. I stupidly ran into a wall last summer on holiday!!! Embarrasing and very painfull. I badly bruised one side of my ribs and stretched all the muscles on the same side of my chest. During the day i was trying ibuprofen which took the edge off it but when i tried to sleep at night it was terrible. It hurt no matter how i lay on my bed. My friend gave me some Syndol and it made a huge difference, first of all it did ... Read the complete review

A friend recommended Syndol to me when I told her of the almost migraine-like headaches I suffered at times due to an old injury which caused pain and tension in my shoulders and head. These tablets don't seem to be that well known, although there are adverts starting to be shown on tv so the message is spreading. ------------------------- They contain: Paracetamol BP Codeine Phosphate BP Doxylamine Suuccinate NF Caffeine BP A dose of 1-2 tablets is recommended every 4-6 hours, not exceeding 8 tablets a day. Not recommended for children under 12. They come in packs of 10, 20 or 30 ... Read the complete review
