I don't like using brand names when I can save a bit of cash by using own brands, provided they are just as good as 'the real thing'. Sometimes that isn't the case and I go back to the brand but you live and you learn, and I really do think that Tesco Hayfever and Allergy Relief Tablets are a fantastic alternative to the branded allergy relief tablets available in your local pharmacy, though the only slight downside here is that obviously they're only available in Tesco. That said, at the price (a fantastic 99p for 14) they are something that you can pre buy and stock up on when you see them, before you need them (for most people you'll be using them over ... All year I have been suffering now terribly with hayfever like symptoms, I have had itchy eyes, a runny nose, I have been sneezing constantly. I have tried a few things which did keep the symptoms minimal but still didn't seem to get rid of them completely. It was at this stage I ended up booking a doctors appointment as it was starting to affect me badly at work and give me headaches. The doctor prescribed me some tablets but told me that I could get these over the counter cheaper probably. I went to my Tesco pharmacy where he told me that my prescription was the equivalent to the Hayfever & Allergy Relief tablets which were so much cheaper and for the price paid I . Whilst tending my garden on a warm day last month I began to experience the uncomfortable symptoms of sore and itchy eyes together with a tickly nose and sore throat. I initially suspected I was coming down with a cold, particularly as I am prone to catching every bug that is doing the rounds. An hour or so later I developed further symptoms where my eyes were continuously running, which led me to believe I was suffering from either an allergy or hay fever. I decided to wait until the following morning and if the symptoms were still present I would visit Tesco to purchase a product to assist me. As I felt dreadful the following morning I decided to make a ... Read the complete review

Spring and summer are getting closer (I hope), although with the warmer weather comes the dreaded hayfever! I have suffered with hayfever for as long as I can remember, although it has eased off in terms of the degree of suffering that I get since I have got older. I think that is down to the fact that I can stop the hayfever from 'spiralling' like it used to when I was a young child. For example, if I have irritation in my eyes, I stop myself from rubbing at them, as I know it will just get worse and worse, until they are streaming with water, and all red and swollen. When I was a child, my first instinct was to rub away in frustration at them, causing the symptoms to .. Read the complete review

I don't suffer badly from hay fever in comparison to some people I know but I do suffer from mild symptoms which can be a bit of a headache at times. I don't feel the need to get any prescription products as I don't think my symptoms are severe enough but I do keep a set of hay fever tablets in the cupboard for when the need arises. The main symptoms I suffer from include watery eyes and a stuffy nose, almost like a mild cold and so to combat this, I purchase Tesco Hay fever and Allergy Relief tablets. After reading the instructions on the back of the packet, I assumed these would be quite strong as you are only allowed to take one tablet a day and they are ... Read the complete review
