WHAT ARE THEY?

Tablets to combat the symptoms of hayfever and minor allergies.  

HOW DO YOU TAKE THEM?

Take one tablet every morning with a glass of water.

WHAT IS THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT?

The active ingredient in these hayfever tablets is Cetirizine and the tablet strength is 10mg

DO THEY WORK?

I think these tablets work very well. They do not make me drowsy but help with symptoms I get from an allergy and in the summer too when I have got hayfever.  They stop my eyes itching and my nose stops itching and that means I don't sneeze so much, it says on the box that if I take these tablets it will also stop me from feeling congested but I do not get this symptom.  

They work quite quick in about an hour of me taking the tablet and they do not make me feel sick or have any side effects to the tablets.  They are small so easy to swallow and there is no aftertaste.  I like that they stop my symptoms because they are very depressing and make me feel ill even though it is only an allergy.  My biggest allergy is to long haired dogs but I have found out which ones of my friends cause this allergy and if I know I will be visiting them I take one of these tablets before I go and that usually stops me from experiencing symptoms at all, but I think these do work better if you let them build up in your system so when I've got hayfever I take one every day even if my symptoms are not very severe.  

ANYTHING ELSE

A box of 14 of these Tesco hayfever tablets costs £1 and that is very cheap comparing to the branded hayfever tablets. Cetrizine is also the active ingredient in Zirtek and they are a lot more expensive.
