The back of the bottle has warning to adhere to before use such as not using if allergic to ingredients, if intolerant to sugar or with diabetes. Basically if you are unsure make sure you speak to your doctor before taking the mixture.
The doses are one to two 5ml spoons for children aged 6-12 every two to three hours and for adults and children over 12 the dosage is two to three 5ml spoons.

When I get a cold I always seem to get a cough following on at the end which is the most annoying thing ever and interupts most days when I least want it to (presentations, meetings etc.) I also cough after swallowing things wrong but thats a completely different matter. So I like to keep some medicine in the cupboard for when the evil cough strikes. I searched for some cheap medicine when I was in my local Tesco as it was just for the cupboard and I found this mentholated bronchial balsam for 99p, result! This past week I've had a terrible cold once again! With a bad immune system I always seem to be coming down with something or other and this cold has been terrible and one I'm still having trouble shaking still! Knowing that my Dr cant do much about it, when I was just becoming ill I popped to my local Tesco store with my mate as she was coming down with it at the same time as me and so we pooled our cash and stocked up on stuff to help us out.
