Tesco do two sorts of antihistamine - the two main sorts that you can get. They are Loratadine and Cetirizine. Most people find that one of these works better for them than the other, so you just have to try both and see which is for you. Loratadine is the one that works best for me. Loratadine is the active ingredient in Clarytin, ... Read the complete review

These are great for allegy suffers - I suffer from hayfever and use these daily. Obviously, the active ingredient is loratadine, and it's much cheaper than any of you big name bands like Clarityn, but just as effective. These work best taken over a period of time, allowing them to build up so prevent your symptoms. My sneezing in the pollen ... Read the complete review

I have suffered with hayfever since I was 8 years old. I've been tested and found out it is only the pollen of the grass 'Timothy' that affects me! Anyway, whatever it is, it generally gives me hell for the whole of June and July every year. My symptoms range from an itchy throat and skin to itchy, watery eyes, nasal congestion, ... I suffer from hayfever right from the start of the season when there is lots of grass pollen around, right through to the end of the season when the main type of pollen which affects sufferers is tree pollen. I suffer from mild asthma and also allergies to house dust and feathers. For the last few years I have had occasional bouts of sneezing, followed by a very sore throat and runny nose. This was not much of a problem until recently, as it always cleared up quickly, leading me to believe that it was an allergy to something, rather than a cold. Over ... Read the complete review

Some of the premium brands can be over 3 pounds for 7 pills and with allergies being a daily problem it can become very expensive. I like supermarket own brands of tablets basically because they are cheaper, I ... Read the complete review

I bought these so-called "non drowsy" tablets as I suffer from hayfever all year round. Despite the manufacturers claims I am constantly falling asleep at work, to the amusement of my colleagues.
