There seems to be a slight confusion about this product at the moment. Just so people are aware, I wrote this review from when I last used it. I have not used it lately and it as also stated at the bottom the new warning about this product and up to date information. My review on when last used this product is as follows: ~*~*~THE REASON FOR BUYING~*~*~ I have two little girls and winter time is just a nightmare. As we known children amuine system isn't as strong as our own and my two little princesses are always getting a cold and a terrible cough. Every time that I take them to the Doctors about it, I am told it is just a cough and it ... Read the complete review

When it comes to cough medicine I have yet to find one that really works and with three boys aged 5, 3 and 1 I have tried many different types over the years. It is really horrible when any child gets unwell even if it is just a cold and as a parent you want to feel like you are doing something to make them feel better, therefore by buying cough medicine you think you hope this will make their cough better. However this does not work and unfortunately Tixylix is no better. Im very happy with Tixylix I dont really know where to start on this review. Both my sons have had chesty coughs through out their childhood they are now 4 and 5 years old. I was unsure which medication to give them as tried a few and none seemed to work, When a woman at the pharmacy advised me on this and the Night time one I thought Id try it. Ive never looked back since I started using it, It has worked everytime within 3 days and the cost is cheap compared to other medicines ranging from £1.99 - £2.99. My sons take this very well as well as they like the Blackcurrent flavour and they know it will always make their coughs go with in a ... Read the complete review

I would recommend this more than the one from 3+ months and i will be moving onto this once my girls turn 1. It helps to take the symptoms away ratehr than just relieve them which is more effective. Ive used this with my step daughter and couldnt recommend it enough. I bought this from boots and only paid just over £2.00 which isnt bad compared to some of the others and its a well know brand new that people trust. In the box is a 100ml bottle and a spoon, the box states the age tange is from 1-10 years so is obviously stonger. It really helped fetch everything from her chest and also helped her to sleep better at night. It is sugar and ... Read the complete review
