Advantages: Stops coughs

Disadvantages: Sleepless nights for weeks!!!!!!

I recently used Tixylix cough medicine for my 4 year old daughter. It worked quite well in stopping her cough and helped her (and her father and I !!!!) get a good nights sleep, however after 3 days of use she started to suffer from terrible nightmares and the sleepless nights soon returned, and lasted a lot longer than her cough!!!!!! I have since spoken to 2 other sets of families who have had the same experience. I will not be using this medication for my daughter again. I would much prefer to put up with the coughing for a few days than see her suffer with recurring nightmares for weeks!!!!!!!!

Summary: I would not recommend this medicine to anyone!!!!!
