This product is much loved by me, but not entirely as I don't like the idea of shoving it up your nose to use it, as it is rather uncomfortable. However, I do love this product for it is one of the rare ones that actually works, and prevents the most common and annoying thing ever - colds! It doesn't get rid of colds, but is designed to STOP colds, which is even better in my opinion. ~~~~ Look ~~~~ The product comes in a lovely shiny box. After all, you must expect quality from this for the price it comes at. It is a well-working product though and some medicines deserve a price tag (meaning a high one, not just a price) as long as they ... Read the complete review

Well I think it has done the job! I can feel there is 'something not quite right' but generally I am carrying on as normal. I have had a very busy weekend but have managed to do everything and not felt like I am struggling at all. Taking the stuff has got more comfortable now although I do sneeze within minutes of it rushing up my nose. There is really a balance to strike here. The stuff is nasty to use. It hurts then tastes like burnt roast beef when it trickles down the back of your throat. However, I am sure I would be having a bad time without it. I also found another problem that most of you won't need to think about. I am allergic to dogs and normally ... Read the complete review

I don't need to write an elaborate review as this should sum it up. (a) - YES! IT REALLY DOES WORK! Stopped my cold developing and symptoms had completely gone within 24 hours of first use. (b) - It did not sting when I used it, It did not hurt and there were no side effects, although different people may react differently. (c) - Use this when you first feel the cold coming on. I.E - When you start getting even the slightest sore throat or congested feeling. (d) - I do believe this is a Miracle Cure, not a bad word can be said about it. (e) - Price - £6.99. Some may say expensive, but 110% worth it when you think of ... Read the complete review

I awoke with a sore throat and a friend recommended I try out Vicks First Defence. Anything was better than a cold two weeks before Christmas. The spray is easy to use and has a menthol like fragrance, it is a rather peculiar sensation but not unpleasant. Certainly incomparable to a blocked up nose, no sleep and red raw nostrils! My sore throat hung around but didn't get worse, but no other cold symptoms appeared. I am normally hit hard by colds but on this occasion First Defence really did seem to work. I will try again next time I start to get a cold to be absolutely sure, but wouldn't hesitate to recommend this ... Read the complete review

It's that time of year again. No, I'm not talking about Valentine's Day. I'm referring to those coughs and sneezes that tend to pay an unwelcome visit during the winter period. It seems no matter how carefully you avoid contact with contagious sufferers, cold and flu viruses spread like wildfire. Despite copiously washing my hands with anti-bacterial hand wash every time I came close to even a remote opportunity of catching something, I still fell foul to that familiar tickle at the back of my throat which usually heralds the advent of a cold. I wasn't going to go down without a fight back against the virus though! I decided to give the Vicks First Defence I purchased ... Read the complete review
