I awoke with a sore throat and a friend recommended I try out Vicks First Defence. Anything was better than a cold two weeks before Christmas.

The spray is easy to use and has a menthol like fragrance, it is a rather peculiar sensation but not unpleasant. Certainly incomparable to a blocked up nose, no sleep and red raw nostrils!

My sore throat hung around but didn't get worse, but no other cold symptoms appeared. I am normally hit hard by colds but on this occasion First Defence really did seem to work. I will try again next time I start to get a cold to be absolutely sure, but wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product.
