Wind-eze gentle action chewable peppermint tablets are a staple in my medicine draw (largely for my husband) and they can be a tremendous help and give fast relief from the discomfort or pain of trapped wind as well as minimising bloating which is more what I occassionally them for. The tablets come in a recyclable box which contains three strips of ten although a perforated line enables you to break them into 5 if you want to keep some in your handbag without taking up too much room. When I had my baby I had to have an emergency caesarean for which I was naturally totally unprepared! Like everyone else I suppose, from time to time I suffer from trapped wind and it can be a real pain - in every sense of the word. It seems to happen to me if I am very stressed out. I think I swallow a lot of air while I eat, especially if I am in a hurry and running between one place and another.
