I remember as a child my mother always put the Wrights vaporiser in our bedroom whenever my sister or I had colds, coughs or congestion causing breathing difficulties and it was so effective she never used anything else. I now have a seven month old grand daughter with croup and I cannot believe this vaporiser is no longer available.
Please can someone re-introduce this harmless and drug free device which brought so much relief to suffering children like me 50 years ago. There is nothing on the market to compare its effectiveness. Surely it must be beneficial for thousands of children particularly those suffering with asthma, bronchitis, and other chest infections for the medical profession to urge the pharmaceutical industry to re-introduce this vaporiser in order to help alleviate the chronic symptoms of these illnesses and provide effective relief, rather than prescribe antibiotics and steroids for children like my seven month old granddaughter.
