About this Member

I am 40 years old and am a self-employed Training Manager, working for central government.

I served for 14 years in the army as an electronic technician, before deciding to settle down in Worcester. I served in Germany, Cyprus (with the United Nations) and in UK.

I love to travel, and stumbled upon DooYoo while searching for information on China. I have also travelled to: St Lucia (where I got married), Jamaica, Cuba, Costa Rica, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Tunisia, Maldives, Goa, and Hong Kong - together with some more conventional destinations, such as the Canary Islands.

I am currently completing an honours degree in literature with the Open University.

I am married to Esta, and between us we have a son, Lewis, aged 7. We recently lost our baby boy Harry, aged 10 months to serious heart complications. All three of us owe our eternal gratitude to Acorns Children's Hospice in the West Midlands, without whom we would not have been able to cope.
