Alf Tupper's Profile
I live with my Aunt Meg in Anchor Alley, Greystone. The house has one room upstairs and one room downstairs; My bed is a mattress on the kitchen floor.
I am employed as a welder working in Ike Smith's welding shop which is located under a railway arch.
I once had bust up with Aunt Meg and moved into Ike Smith's welding shop sleeping on a mattress by my workbench.
I joined the Greystone Harriers paying a subcription fee of half a guinea. I was only a member of the Harriers for three weeks and was instructed to return my membership card by Bob Richards the Hon Secretary following an ontrack fight with Vic Mason in the 440yards at the Greystone Harriers Sports meeting.
Known widely as "The Tough of the Track", I represented Tristan Da Chuna in the Olympic games.
Regarded as a "Guttersnipe" by the toffee nosed twits from Bigtown Harriers, I am at my best following the previous night on late shift, lifting heavy objects & getting little sleep.
My staple diet is fish & chips wrapped in newspaper and I detest litter louts.
