      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Great smelling shower gel packed with natural ingredients.

First impression you have the same Lush bottle that you find across the entire range which I personally really like it has the black label with white writing and the logo across the top again in the same way that all the bottled products are labelled. One thing you find on the lush bottles which I really like are the small round stickers which has a drawing of whoever it was which created the product you're buying and also there name written underneath. I just think this adds a nice personal touch to the product and knowing they made it rather than it being massed produce by machine is also reassuring. --------------- I got the small bottle within a gift set but it comes in 3 different sizes but you will notice you make quite a reasonable saving the more you buy. 100g - £4.50 250g - £8.95 500g - £15.75 Obviously you'll notice looking at the price that it's quite pricey especially if you're comparing to cheaper options you may pick up in the supermarket. But for me there's a number of different reasons I will always pay the extra for Lush products = Knowing exactly what's in your products as everything they use has a natural source and using the website you can see what's in and even more in-depth information about the individual ingredients. Here's the ingredients from the Lush site - Natural Ingredients are: Vine Leaf Infusion, Water, Fresh Mandarin Juice, Fair Trade Olive Oil, Bergamot Oil, Lemon Oil, Orange Flower Absolute, Mandarin Oil, Fine Sea Salt, Limonene, Linalool, Synthetic are: Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Perfume, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxycitronellal, Colour 14700, Methylparaben All the packaging is recycled and is fully recyclable you can also take in your empty Lush pots and bottle tops and for 5 black pots they will reward you with a face mask which would usually come at a cost of £5.75 (they're amazing as well). Absolutely no animal testing and all the products are sourced in the most ethical way and Lush employees are actually sent to inspect that everything is living up to the high standards (and rightfully so) that they have set. Also could be included in here as it is a big plus for me is that a lot of the products including this one are made from completely Vegan ingredients which cannot be said for a huge amount of the other alternatives on the market. Great quality products everything has been made using fresh ingredients and also natural ingredients meaning it's very good for your skin especially if you can sometimes suffer from irritation with the chemicals in other products. (the above text is slightly edited as it is relevant across all my Lush reviews) --------------- This shower gel is pretty similar in colour to The Olive Branch except it is a little lighter it actually looks a little bit like honey which could be explained by the fact it contains 3 different kinds of honey inside it. Again with this shower gel I was told by my girlfriend at the time it reminded her of old people I'm beginning to think maybe her nose was just broken. I could really pick up the honey in this one obviously with so much being in you really got a really strong scent of it as soon as you opened up the bottle. As you will find throughout my Lush reviews I always comment on how strong and long lasting the scents are and this again doesn't disappoint. When you wash the scent of honey really fills the entire bathroom and is amazing for a long relaxing bath. I find it a really pleasant smell to be on me as well I think it has quite a summery feel to it so it's great in the winter when you're looking at the miserable weather outside. Just like all the other Lush show gels this lathers up fantastically and just a very small amount will be another for a complete wash and like I've mentioned in other reviews definitely pick up a sponge or one of those scrunchie shower things (no idea what they're called but you will all know what I mean) as you will be able to make it go a lot further as you really don't need to apply much. Honey has been known to have a lot of beneficial properties for skin and the various types of honey combined mean that your skin is left feeling full of moisture and healthier than ever. To be honest I have used a wide range of Lush products and I think I have felt the benefits of all of them on my skin but I think this in particular after only a short amount of time using it really left my skin feeling really nice and soft. --------------- Fantastic smell of honey and leaves you with amazing healthy skin.

A very unique smelling shower gel with a long lasting scent and great for dry skin.

(I actually got my bottle free for a mistake they made with my order which was excellent customer service) 100g - £4.25 250g - £8.50 500g - £14.95 Obviously you'll notice looking at the price that it's quite pricey especially if you're comparing to cheaper options you may pick up in the supermarket. (the above text is slightly edited as it is relevant across all my Lush reviews) --------------- The shower gel is a sort of golden brown colour like a very dark honey colour I find most of the lush products look a pleasant colour and it's consistent it doesn't have the iridescent shimmers you get swirled in with the products including a lot more chemicals. It's definitely a smell that is very much a love/hate thing because I really liked it but my partner at the time said it reminded her of old people (charming!) but other people have said they find it to be quite a masculine smell. I would say the Mandarin isn't very apparent when you smell it out of the bottle it's actually a hard scent to pinpoint as you don't pick up the smell of any of the individual ingredients I personally found it to have quite a sweet smell but also picked up on a very floral scent maybe this was down to the combination of the oils and mandarin I'm not entirely sure. When you wash with the shower gel it's one of those scents which definitely has a lot of staying power as I found that even after I was washed and dried it would smell like the bottle was being wafted under my nose wherever I was going. Because of the various oils in the shower gel it's great for moisturising your skin so it would be a great plus from people who may suffer from quite dry skin. Personally I don't have that problem so much but I did notice my skin would feel very nice and soft after using it especially after a week or so of use had passed. --------------- A very unique smelling shower gel with a long lasting scent and great for dry skin.

Smell like a tube of toothpaste.

Here's the ingredients from the Lush site - Natural Ingredients are: Water, Glycerine, Fine Sea Salt, Spearmint Oil, Menthol Crystals, Thyme Oil, Methyl Ionone, Limonene, Linalool Synthetic are: Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Lauryl Betaine, Sodium Bicarbonate, Propylene Glycol, Perfume, Hydroxycitronellal, Colour 42090, Methylparaben All the packaging is recycled and is fully recyclable you can also take in your empty Lush pots and bottle tops and for 5 black pots they will reward you with a face mask which would usually come at a cost of £5.75 (they're amazing as well). Great quality products everything has been made using fresh ingredients and also natural ingredients meaning it's very good for your skin especially if you can sometimes suffer from irritation with the chemicals in other products. (the above text is slightly edited as it is relevant across all my Lush reviews) --------------- The actual conditioner is a really nice blue colour it for some reason reminds me of aquariums which is a pretty nice thing I suppose haha. The smell you get when you first open and smell it out the bottle is a really intense smell of spearmint it smells pretty much identical to toothpaste in my opinion which was off putting for me as I'm not a huge fan of that particular scent. When you apply the shower gel it does somewhat reduce the intensity of the spearmint smell but it is still quite overpowering and for me far too strong. If you like the smell though it does last very well and you can usually notice you still have the smell hanging on to you after a good few hours and although I'm not a big fan it is quite a refreshing smell none the less. The shower gel comes out a bit thicker than the other Lush Shower Gels I have used which isn't a problem at all as when you mix it with a bit of water it bubbles up just as well as the others. It lathers up much more than you would expect even from using a tiny amount 2 small blobs in my hand is about enough to clean my entire body. But to get the most out of it as it is quite expensive so people would want to be sparing with how much they use I recommend getting a sponge as it foams up amazing off one tiny blob and is probably enough to give yourself a full clean 2-3 times. As a shower gel I can't fault it you definitely feel clean after using it ... just kind of like you've showered in toothpaste. But my skin did feel really nice after using it and very healthy due to all the skin friendly ingredients used. This is one of the few products which features largely across the store so you could pick up a few things and match them rather than having things mixed and matched. --------------- If you like the smell of toothpaste and strong minty smells this is definitely for you but unfortunately it didn't do anything for me.

Here's the ingredients from the Lush site - Natural Ingredients are: Water, Fresh Pink Grapefruit Juice, Grapefruit Oil, Bergamot Oil, Frankincense Oil, Lactic Acid, Limonene, Perfume Synthetic are: Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Lauryl Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Methylparaben All the packaging is recycled and is fully recyclable you can also take in your empty Lush pots and bottle tops and for 5 black pots they will reward you with a face mask which would usually come at a cost of £5.75 (they're amazing as well). Great quality products everything has been made using fresh ingredients and also natural ingredients meaning it's very good for your skin especially if you can sometimes suffer from irritation with the chemicals in other products. (the above text is slightly edited as it is relevant across all my Lush reviews) --------------- The actual conditioner is a transparent yellow colour it basically looks like a transparent version of the I Love Juicy Shampoo. The smell you get when you first open and smell it out the bottle is straight away grapefruit this is because the main natural ingredient in the shower gel is freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice. When you use the shower gel you get a fantastic smell coming from it especially if you're in the shower you basically end up trapped in the lovely fresh grapefruit scent until you get out and likewise when using it in the bath you have the smell lingering around in the entire bathroom while you're relaxing which is always pleasant. The good thing with the smell being very prominent is when you was it off the smell sticks to you very well as you would obviously like it too where as some shower gels will leave you with quite a strong chemical smell or unnatural fragrance you don't even get that in the slightest with Happy Hippy. The shower gel comes out the bottle quite runny but not so much that it runs out your hands but just right so that it's good for washing with and not to think and lumpy. When you wash off the shower gel before you get dried you already feel so cleansed which is obviously helped by the pleasant smell that comes with it as well. When you're dry your skin is left feeling incredibly soft and healthy the essential oils are perfect for making sure your skin is healthy and hydrated. Something to consider because Lush don't often have lines of products I would definitely recommend using this in conjunction with I Love Juicy Shampoo and Veganese Conditioner as they all contain sweet smelling fruits (pineapple, lemon, citrus and grapefruit). I have already reviewed both Veganese and I Love Juicy in my previous 2 reviews. --------------- I would definitely recommend this product especially for someone who maybe hasn't tried Lush products before and isn't sure what to buy.

          Best conditioner out there.

But for me there's a number of different reasons I will always pay the extra for Lush products = Knowing exactly what's in your products as everything they use has a natural source and using the website you can see what's in and even more in-depth information about the individual ingredients. Here's the ingredients from the Lush site - Natural Ingredients are: Lavender Flower Infusion, Fresh Rosemary Infusion, Agar Agar Gel, Lemon Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Fresh Organic Lemon Juice, Citral, Limonene Synthetic are: Cetearyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol & Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Cetrimonium Bromide, Perfume, Methylparaben All the packaging is recycled and is fully recyclable you can also take in your empty Lush pots and bottle tops and for 5 black pots they will reward you with a face mask which would usually come at a cost of £5.75 (they're amazing as well). Great quality products everything has been made using fresh ingredients and also natural ingredients meaning it's very good for your skin especially if you can sometimes suffer from irritation with the chemicals in other products. (the above text is slightly edited as it is relevant across all my Lush reviews) --------------- The actual conditioner is a creamy white colour it and when out of the bottle it has a slight ash colour to it very similar to limestone. This definitely has the most in your face smell out of all the Lush products I have and the lemon is very prominent as soon as you open the bottle. I actually really like the smell but some other people I've shown it too said it reminds them of lemon scented toilet cleaner so obviously some people find the initial smell quite overpowering and maybe too intense. The lavender and rosemary are definitely not noticeable when smelling the conditioner in it's present state in the bottle. Upon applying the conditioner to your hair you still get the strong scent of the lemon to me personally it reminds me a lot of lemon sherbet because it smells much more like a sweet version of lemon rather than actual lemons maybe because of the presence of the other ingredients as it is real lemon juice and lemon oil used. Once you wash off the conditioner it leaves the lovely smell of lemon not only in your hair but in the bathroom and until your hair is dry it fills most rooms you're sitting in with the lemon sherbet smell which personally I love. And the important thing is it lasts I can still smell the lemon present in my hair even the day after I have conditioned it and it smells fresh and not chemical what so ever. The conditioner has a consistency much like any other conditioner on the market it's slight thicker than shampoo and a lot less runny. Now I have to mention the only slight downside which is how much you need to use for a good coverage. I have thick hair and it's an inch or two past shoulder length and I find that with this conditioner I have to be very generous in order to get enough to cover all of my hair evenly. Obviously this means it will run out quicker but I still think it's worth the price for the quality budget but it definitely isn't cost effective if people are trying to save on toiletries as you may find yourself needing a new bottle each month if you condition your hair every 1-2 days. When the conditioner is in I usually leave it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing it off and straight away you notice how soft your hair feels. When dry my hair feels incredibly soft and light which is pretty rare considering how thick my hair actually is and I would say that this conditioner works about 10 times better than any other I have used (Superdrug, TRESemme, Bed Head etc) which really makes the price worth it. I have been using it for about a week now and my hair hasn't looked this healthy in a long time and I had very damaged hair from bleaching and dying it sometimes 2-3 times a month so the quality is most definitely there. Something to consider because Lush don't often have lines of products I would definitely recommend using this in conjunction with I Love Juicy Shampoo and Happy Hippy Shower Gel as they all contain sweet smelling fruits (pineapple, lemon, citrus and grapefruit). I have already reviewed I Love Juicy and Happy Hippy will be my next review if you want to look at them and compare. --------------- Pretty expensive if you're on a budget but definitely the best quality conditioner I have ever used personally and I would recommend it to anyone as it's suitable for all types of hair and as Lush put it on the bottle ... not just for Vegans.

Here's the ingredients from the Lush site - Natural ingredients are: Water, Lemon Oil, Freshly Juiced Papaya, Fine Sea Salt, Carrageenan Extract, Sweet Orange Oil, Fresh Pineapple Juice, Fresh Kiwi Juice, Fresh Mango Juice, *Citral, *Limonene, Benzyl Alcohol, Synthetic are: Sodium Alkyl Sulfate, Ammonium Laureth Sulphate, Cocamide MEA, Propylene Glycol, Perfume, Methylparaben, Propylparaben All the packaging is recycled and is fully recyclable you can also take in your empty Lush pots and bottle tops and for 5 black pots they will reward you with a face mask which would usually come at a cost of £5.75 (they're amazing as well). Great quality products everything has been made using fresh ingredients and also natural ingredients meaning it's very good for your skin especially if you can sometimes suffer from irritation with the chemicals in other products. (the above text is slightly edited as it is relevant across all my Lush reviews) --------------- The colour of the actual shampoo is cloudy yellow obviously most of the colour will come from the crushed up fruits they put inside most notable pineapple as it does resemble pineapple juice in colour. Smelling it in the bottle you can strongly smell the presence of the pineapple and mango and it smells amazing and fresh so much so that you would think you could drink it as there's no hint of any sort of chemicals like you get with other shampoo. When you put the shampoo on your hair and lather it up it just releases the strong fruity smell and like much of the Lush products it has that effect of reminding you of summer and for me especially it always makes me feel a bit more cheerful especially with the typically dull UK weather. Once dried the pineapple smell especially rests really well on your hair I often find if I have a bath or shower late at night the following morning I still have a really good scent of the pineapple. I know it's not very relevant to how well it works on your hair but something that always gets a comment from the other people living with me is after you've used this the smell hangs around across the whole of my flat for a good while after using it which is never unwelcome. The shampoo in terms of how much you need to use is fantastic I have hair which is just past shoulder length and loads of it so it takes quite a lot of shampoo to get my whole head covered well however with this shampoo I can use a tiny amount and after just a few scrubs it's foamed up and covered my whole head completely. For a Vegan shampoo especially this is fantastic because I tried the Superdrug Shampoo and Conditioner which uses fruit etc as well and I found that I would need a handful just to get a full cover on my head meaning I would go through a bottle in just over a week. After drying my hair feels fantastic and clean and like I mentioned earlier it smells fantastic and the smell holds for roughly 24 hours minimum. Something to consider because Lush don't often have lines of products I would definitely recommend using this in conjunction with Veganese Conditioner and Happy Hippy Shower Gel as they all contain sweet smelling fruits (pineapple, lemon, citrus and grapefruit). I have already reviewed Veganese and Happy Hippy will be my next review if you want to look at them and compare. --------------- Overall I would recommend this to anyone and it's especially great if you're looking for high quality Vegan toiletries. Although the price is high it's definitely worth it for what you get and it's also a very long lasting shampoo.

The shower gel is a green colour obviously matching the given name of grass. If you smell it straight out the bottle you get a very nice summery smell and the first obvious comparison is to that of freshly cut grass this will be coming from the fresh wheatgrass which makes up a good portion of the ingredients. The smell when you have actually used it begins to fade and you get much more of a woody smell coming from the Sandalwood Oil. Personally this way works best for me because I think the smell of the freshly cut grass is a really nice summery smell which cheers you up especially in the winter when you're wishing for those sunny days but it's not a smell I would really want to be following me around all day so the woody undertone when the wheatgrass sent is more washed out seems much better suited. Focusing on the price again the next point is something to take into consideration in regards to value for money. Out of all the shower gels I have owned (and I've had many of varying prices) this is by far the best in terms of how much you need to use to get a good lather. I find two small squeezes of shower gel about the size of a 50p is enough to cover the entirety of your body and if you have one using a sponge will get even more out of it as it really bubbles up quite well. I shower daily and a large bottle will last me anywhere from 5-6 weeks if I am just using it on my body but sometimes I will use it on my hair which uses a little more just because of the nice scent it leaves. When the product is washed off and you are dry you will notice your skin feels very nice and soft. Because of the natural gradients used by Lush they pack everything in according to how it will be used so the wheatgrass provides lots of vitamins and minerals that help your skin stay healthy. --------------- Overall I will always recommend Lush to anyone and everyone as it really is worth that little extra you pay to get a great product that you can also feel good about in knowing how everything was prepared and sourced.

Great tasting vegan food for a snack or part of a meal.

Having recently became vegan I got rid of a load of things for myself and stocked up on various different foods I hadn't tried before in order to sample what it is that I want to bring in to my new diet. You will see a selection of the items in the reviews I do in the future. The packaging for the Cauldron Falafel's I purchased was slightly different to that shown in the picture it was all dark green with an orange/brown writing on and some white writing. It's not strong and eye catching but I definitely like the design and it's consistent through the whole Cauldron range so you do recognised the product on the shelves as being theres as soon as you see it. In the packet you get 8 Falafels which are balls about half the size of a golf ball and they don't look too dissimilar to a scotch egg. They are prepared and ready to eat straight out the packet which is perfect for a quick snack on the go but you can heat them in the oven which only takes around 10 minutes. My personal favourite way to eat them is to heat them up and spread some hummus in a warm pitta bread and then crumble the falafels inside and have it as a yummy healthy vegan sandwich. The taste of the Falafel in regards to flavour you definitely straight away notice it's an Indian style of food and it doesn't taste miles different to the flavour in an onion bhaji. The texture can be quite dry and fluffy almost like a very light breadcrumb on the outside but it is a lot more crumbly on the inside and full of flavour. I would recommend having it like I mentioned before with hummus or maybe another dip because alone it can be quite dry but not so much that you wouldn't want to eat it, just more pleasant with something to accompany it. Nutritional Information - Serving Size: 100 g, Calories: 257, Fat: 11g, Carbs: 30g, Protein: 6.2g I paid £2.00 for my packet of 8 from Tesco which is quite expensive and I plan to try making my own but as a snack that you're not eating regularly it's definitely a nice treat.

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

Hard wearing case but difficult to use and high priced.

First off I'll start by pointing out I got this case for free when the iPhone 4 original came out with the whole Antennagate situation where users where reporting there hands where causing the signal to decrease and calls to drop. Because of this Apple offered free cases to everyone who bought the phone as this seemed to somewhat improve the problem. Personally I never had any issues with signal but for such a high priced phone obviously protecting it is somewhat a high priority. First off the case looks really plain it has a closed back and open front so the entirety of the back of the phone is covered and protected apart from a small hole to allow for the camera and the flash. Fortunately this case has been designed to allow enough room for the flash a lot of the other cases had problems with the pictures they took being too dark because the case was deflecting the flash as it didn't allow enough room however this case avoids this problem. The whole back has a gridded pattern and texture on it which is personally perfect for me cause I don't like anything to over the top and definitely don't like crazy colours or pictures on phone cases so this is a good balance in-between a design and a completely plain case for people like myself. The pattern is actually engraved into the back as well which means it also acts as a grip when you're holding the phone which is definitely important cause I have dropped my iPhone too many times to count. The case comes up around the entire edge of the phone and then where the +/- buttons are the case actually has black rubber +/- buttons on and then above that is a small opening in the case so you can flick the switch to change the phone on and off silent. Then on the top of the phone you have another black rubber button so that you can lock and unlock the phone or switch it on and off also on the opposite side of the top you have the opening for the 3.5mm jack so you can put in your Apple iPhone Headphones or other branded headphones. Then the final opening you have is at the very bottom and that's for putting in the charger when you connect to the computer or a power supply. All the openings have a sufficient amount of space and allow even a little extra for movement which is perfect as sometimes things don't always line up the same after prolonged use. The whole case is made of a very hard rubber it's not silicone like some of the other cases it really feels more like a durable plastic than a rubber. Because of this it's very difficult to get the case on you really have to push it hard to get it in which is surprising as it only clips over around the edge on the front with a very small ledge possible 1mm around. I suppose at least you can have the comfort of knowing the phone is definitely securely held in the case. The main problem though is getting it back out the case if you need to it sometimes would take me 5+ minutes of pushing, pulling and twisting parts of the case just so I could get the phone back out. Now unfortunately for the bad the black rubber buttons on my case were very hard to press and with the power button if I was switching the phone on and off I would sometimes have to apply pressure with both fingers and hold it down till it would switch off. Also the same with the +/- buttons on the side I would find myself squeezing very hard just to get them to work which makes it almost impossible to accurately go up or down by only one bar on the volume. I definitely think this would be a problem from someone who hasn't got much strength in there hands so I would avoid the case if you think that would be a problem for you. The thing for me though was my partner at the time also had the exact same case but the buttons would press perfectly as if there was no case on at all so this is definitely down to imperfections in the design of the case and how they sit on the phone. For the colour I just went with plain black as it was only that and navy blue which I could choose from but looking at the website I can see there are now 8 colours available (brown,black,red,3 shades of blue and 2 shades of pink). The cases seem to retail at about £25 which I would say is way too expensive but you can pick them up for closer to £15 if you shop around but you might be limited in choices for colours as the brighter ones seem to cost more. Overall I wouldn't recommend this case because of the difficulty I had with the buttons because it is a big inconvenience and also I think that it's overpriced for a case just made from rubber.

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

Nice drink if served ice cold but otherwise very bitter.

I have always been a big fan of Cherry Coke but more so when it was how it used to be rather than the more recent Coke with Cherry which actually has a slightly different taste so it's a shame that Cherry Coke isn't around anymore. The labels on the bottles match the design of the can which is all silver with the familiar diet coke logo and then a cherry coloured swirl across the bottom with the cherries too the side of it. Also on the bottles the lid is matched in colour to the cherry coloured swirl which you find on the design. I drink too many carbonated drinks so I try as much as I can to get the diet or zero versions as it's a little bit better than the full of sugar ones. The only problem I have with this is a lot of the drinks available lose the majority of there flavour once they've been made into the diet drink. Unfortunately this drink is no exception but in a rather strange way I notice that you don't get the obvious taste of coke you automatically get from the regular version then the hint of cherry. With this diet version when you first take a drink you taste very little on first contact but once it's settled in your mouth you can real taste the presence of the cherry flavour in the drink. I do find that this drink is very gassy though and I have to sip it quite sparingly otherwise it can be a bit too much. But like I mentioned in the headline I have to have mine ice cold as soon as it starts to get even to room temperature I find it begins to taste very bitter and I am unable to drink it which is obviously an inconvenience for grabbing a quick drink if it needs to be refrigerated first. As with most drinks you get it in 330ml can, 500ml bottle, 1.25 litre bottle and 2 litre bottle. It has 3 calories, 0g fat and 0g saturates per 330ml so obviously that's an improvement on picking up a can of the regular cherry coke but obviously it still is by no means healthy. As for price you can nearly always find these drinks on offer and at the moment Tesco have them on 3 for the price of 2 which works out as about £3.96 for 6 litres which isn't too bad a price but coke is definitely the most expensive of the branded drinks available even more so than the others which are actually owned by the coca cola company.

Expensive headphones but very high quality and worth it for avid listeners.

I really got sucked in by the design of these headphones they're definitely the nicest looking ones I've seen I was obviously concerned that I was buying into some sort of hype though because of the fact they were all massively endorsed by various celebrities and had a pretty high price tag. I caved and picked them up from the Apple Store and they cost me £139.99 it seems now that they have swapped them for the HD version which has a higher price tag of around £169.95 currently. I went for the black but they had white ones available as well. The first thing I noticed when getting them was the box which stood out even though it was just big and black but it has another box which is bright red that slides into it which obviously is a more eye catching colour. Everything is matt so looks stylish and luxurious and you can tell you've just spend a load of money on it basically. The actual headphones themselves I had read reports about before buying saying that they were quite easy to break but I found that they felt quite sturdy and the fact they folded up meant you shouldn't really have any problems with them if they're looked after carefully. They have the same rubber matt effect over the whole of the headphones which makes them really stand out this continues across the whole band over your head and outer face of the headphones then it has the silver circle with the red b in. I couldn't tell if the silver circle was actual metal or just given the effect but it looks like it's made from polished aluminium. Like I mentioned before they fold up about 2 inches up on each side so that they can fold flat for packing and transporting them which is good because unless you leave them round your neck over ear headphone can always be a bit awkward to put in a bag or something without taking up a lot of room and fear they may break. The cushioning for the headphones is perfect I wore them regularly for hours at a time and I never noticed any discomfort on my ears like you sometimes find with other headphones on the market. The wire is something everyone recognises straight away because it's bright red to match the colour of the logo and it has the incontrol section which is perfect for iPhone users and I believe it works with most mobile phones that can accept a 3.5mm jack. It has the same controls as your regular iPhone headphone controls so you can skip back and forward through your music and play or pause it, activate the voice control and answer phone calls using the built in microphone and the headphones for sound. The wire is unique in that it is made of a material which means it is anti tangle I'm not entirely sure on the mechanics of this and how it works exactly and it doesn't say too much on the packaging but I can say that it does actually work I'm yet to have pull them even out of a messy bag and find the wire tangled. Obviously as you would expect with headphone costing you so much the quality in sound matches the price. The first thing you notice is the perfect balance you get just the right amount of bass without it sounding too loud and distorted and fantastic mids and crystal clear highs. I actually found myself noticing background instruments and sounds that I didn't even realise where there because of how well balance and perfectly sounding everything was coming through. An important thing I really noticed was at high volumes you had absolutely no loss in quality at all everything came through crystal clear with no distortion in the bass no hissing or rattling of the headphones which really is the tester for me because I like to listen to my music really loud. I definitely would recommend these headphones to someone who really appreciates music and spends a lot of time listening to it. If you're a listener who maybe just uses an iPod while commuting or something similar I think you would maybe find yourself better buying a pair of lower priced headphones to suit your needs as I don't believe you would get the moneys worth with these headphones at all. I also don't doubt you could get a pair of headphones with similar quality of sound for a significant amount less but the overall design and build of these headphones definitely adds to what makes them more special than the others available. This is also posted on Ciao under the same username AwesomeForrest

Buy the original version or if you need a diet drink try something else.

As I mentioned in my previous review for the 'unhealthy' original IRN BRU it's my favourite drink and I love the taste of it. So this version is basically the same thing but without the sugar. The design is the same that you recognise on the original but the orange background has now been replaced with a white background and also where it used to say original underneath IRN-BRU it now says sugar free. I like the fact that IRN-BRU brand everything very well they don't change anything too drastically so you remember the bottle/can design as soon as you see it and it stands out straight away when sitting on a shelf amongst the other branded products. On to the most important thing the actual drink it's self. Well obviously this is appealing cause all be it still not being great for your teeth removing the sugar is obviously a major plus. BUT. It tastes absolutely nothing like IRN-BRU I know some diet drinks taste a little less strong but you can still tell what the actual drink is as well. I literally can't even taste the slightest hint of the original IRN-BRU I was incredibly disappointed. It has a strange taste it's obviously not as sweet because of the lack of the sugar but I find it has a very chemical taste which is hard to understand cause as you can imagine I don't know the taste of many chemicals very well but the taste is just incredibly manufactured which I assume could be to do with a lot of playing around trying to get the IRN-BRU flavour. I would like a healthier alternative to the original but this is not it so the search is still on hopefully they have a break through in the not too distant future to work it out.

More expensive but you need to buy less, best paint on the market.

I am always first call if anyone in the family needs painting and decorating done it's not my profession but I just did it once and then it stuck as my place in the family. Over the years we've tried various different paints in varying price ranges but Dulux is always the main company that we always go back to and it has now become the paint of choice when ever we need something done. Dulux is always a little more expensive than the other paints available but it tends to end up costing less because where as you could buy 2 tins of a cheaper paint you could get one tin of Dulux and it would cover the same area just as well or even better. The 1st thing you notice when opening the tin is the paint is really thick unlike some of the others available this doesn't make it difficult to paint with at all though it just means when you apply it to the wall you get more on and it also spreads a lot more evenly and you get an equal tone across the wall instead of patchy areas once it has dried. I rarely find I have to do more than one coat with the Dulux paint where as I used Wickes paint and I had to give 3 coats just to get an even tone across the whole room. Another important plus is with Dulux I have always got the colour that is on the tin with the same Wickes paint I mentioned I ended up with a room about 3-4 shades darker than what I originally planned. It's not a strong smelling paint which is great because it's not nice when you have to do a main room and sit inhaling the fumes for a day or two till it has completely dried and aired out. Overall I would recommend that anyone just grabs a tin of Dulux rather than 2 of a cheaper option it really makes a huge difference and makes life so much easier.

Great charger and a welcome update from the old faulty one.

As you will know if you glance through my reviews I am an avid Apple fan and have had a number of different products come and go some stay and some move on fairly quick. This Apple charger is the MagSafe Power Adapter for 15" and 17" Macbook Pro's I'm currently using it on my 15" and have had absolutely no problems at all that weren't my own fault. So now to explain the problem which was my fault ... oops ... when the charger comes the actual white box you see in the image above with the Apple logo on it comes in a plastic wrapping. As I'm sure a lot of people do I tend to leave on some of the protective packaging in case there's any issues and I need to return something. If you ever by one DO NOT do this the white box gives off a good amount of heat and the plastic wrapping contains that causing it to basically burn out and stop working. Fortunately Apple where very understanding and replaced it for me but that's definitely something to note that I didn't see mentioned anywhere. On to the charger you have 2 parts you have the white charging blog which has a wire with the 'L' shaped connector at the end which is made out of the same aluminium as the actual computer and has a light on either side which when plugged in lights red to say that it's charging and when it's at 100% batter that changes to green. The actual connector is magnetic which is obviously where the MagSafe name comes from basically this is so if someone walks in the room and treads or trips on the wire it just pulls it out without damaging the wire or the computer. The next 2 parts are the plugs you can either have a plug which is directly into the box or a further extended wire with a plug on the end. I always use the further extended wire because I move the computer about the room a lot so the extra length is definitely a plus. I would say the total length is somewhere around 2-3 meters so there's definitely a lot more than every other laptop charger I've seen. The only downside with the charger is the price of buying a new one is around £60 from the Apple Store but for such a high quality charger it's definitely worth it. I have know people to be quoted a great deal more than that when contacting companies for parts and I was quoted £100 once for a normal black box charger for a Dell computer so it really is something to think about. Also I will add it on here as there seems to be none of the older type on here for review. My old 'T' shaped charger actually started to melt at the connector and the plastic caught fire and from what it seems I'm not the only one to have this problem. The exposed wire could of been highly dangerous as you can imagine so I definitely recommend making the change to the newer more safer one if you're still using the old one.

Best tasting drink on the market.

IRN BRU is by far my favourite drink which is a double edged sword because obviously it tastes fantastic and that's why I like it but on the other hand it's a fizzy drink and obviously not doing wonders for your teeth if drank regularly. The design as far as I'm aware has stayed the same or only changed extremely slightly for as long as I can remember and I prefer this because I think if a design works and you stick to it people remember it and it becomes part of your brand. Orange, white and blue are the main colours including the actual drink which is the same orange tone as that used on the label. Overall the packaging is very eye catching and appealing. The taste is something which is very difficult to explain it even says on the label that it is made from a secret recipe and it really must be because if you get the cheap versions from the supermarkets it really tastes very little like the real thing. It definitely has a sweet and fruity taste but there's no real fruit you can put your finger on as an individual one it tastes like. Price wise it always seems to have the best offers over any other brand name drink on the market it seems every time there's a big sporting event they release 500ml cans for around 50p-60p which is almost half the price of a bottle the same size from another brand. The 500ml bottles are almost always 69p, 79p or 89p. And the supermarkets always have BOGOF offers or reduced price bottles so you are always sure to be able to get a bargain with them. Only down side is it tastes TOO good and I want to drink it all the time they do a diet version which I'll also review as it tastes terrible.
