I use make up every day and I make sure that every night I remove it properly. I wear contact lenses so I have to make sure that the remover is for sensitive eyes. I generally don't stick to one brand because the life is too short so I like to try new things.
While I was browsing at boots I have spotted this Boots Simply Sensitive Eye remover 125ml on offer for £2. I though I will give a go.
The bottle is similar to Simple brand, with green lid and the bottle is see through. At the front of the bottle is written: "Eye makeup remover with soothing aloe vera, no fragrance, no colour, hypo-allergic, dermatologic ally tested". It also contains a "blend" of the light oil to remove waterproof mascara which I am not sure whether it does because I don't use waterproof mascara.
It does remove mascara properly with one sweep, but your eyes looks like you have put cooking oil on them. It's so oily. And when I put my glasses on I can't see anything because my eyelashes are too oily and leave marks on lenses. I won't be buying this again.
So I would not recommend this eye remover if you wear glasses. Otherwise it's ok.
I love AVON. Who doesn't know Avon? It's a worldwide known name and they sell products in over 140 countries as stated in Wikipedia.
I know the Avon since I was 12yrs old. I am now 29yrs old. I remember my mum coming home with a brochure and telling me that she is an Avon representative. I was so excited about this. I took a catalogue to school to all my friends to help my mum to earn some money from selling Avon products. We used to buy products from the commission we made and it was great as it felt like we got it for free.
I don't live with my mum anymore and we are quite far apart now so I became an Avon representative too about 7years ago. I don't make any money from it because I don't go from door to door. I only show the book to my friends and family. For earning some commission I think you need to order products for over £70, but I have never had it that high. That doesn't bother me as I don't really want to make money.
Little bit about the brochure
The book is 8inches long and 6inches wide. It's Just the right size for your hands. I like that the book has products categorised into groups. All the offers are on the top of the brochure so you will notice as soon as you open the book. The other plus is that they put perfumes on the pages of some products so you know what they smell like. Occasionally with your normal brochure you will also get a clearance brochure with about 30-40pages containing sale products. As an Avon representative you will also get another book 12inches long and 8inches wide. It's cold Hello Tomorrow and it includes demonstration products for two campaigns ahead which is brilliant because you will be able to buy them and show them to your customer in advance. From the hello book you will able to buy your samples, clearance products which you can't sell it but they are brilliant business building tool, lucky bags (which is for example you will get 5 pieces of specific products for £10 , but you will not know what you will get inside. Surprise!! Brochures are not free you have to pay for them. But the more you order the less you pay for the price of the single brochure. For example for the price of 5 you will pay £3.15 (0.63p each) or 10 brochures will cost you £4.22(42.2p each). I don't order brochures. I just get one in the box but they still charge me 0.50p or so. This is ok as i share it with my friends.
About the products
Some products are really good but some are not as good. They sell products for woman, man and kids. They have variety of products from make-up, perfumes, body products, hair care, jewellery, bags, sports equipment, sunscreen lotions, lingerie, pyjamas, slippers, gits and home products, baby products and so much more. I have lots of favourite products. From the makeup I like glimmer stick eyeliners, lip glosses, nail wear, mascaras although I do think they get dry so quickly but if bought in sale I don't mind. I use perfumes for my daily wear as they are cheap if bought in sale. I have used lots of them but my favourites are Treselle, Percieve, Pur Blanca, Far Away Exotic, Rare Gold, Little Black Dress and recently I love new perfume called City Rush presented by Milla Jovovich. From the hair care I buy their shampoos and conditioners from Advance Techniques range for Volume. Occasionally I buy hair mask from this range too. Also all my hairs brushes are from Avon. I buy some foot works range for my feet mainly foot soufflé and heel softening cream. Love their jewellery for special occasions. I have bought lots in sales. My favourite range is planet spa. It looks feels and smells lovely. I would say if you want to pamper yourself then get this planet spa range products. Really, there are not lot products that I don't like. If you don't like it, just return it and you will get all your money back. You can order your product from the Avon representative, or you can order online as well.
I have never had problems with Avon, easy return of products, the person who brings me boxes is always polite, occasionally they will put some free products in the box for you to try, which is nice. And also every year I get a free product for being with them. I joined them in September so I will be expecting one soon. This is my opinion on Avon and I will recommend it to everyone whether you want to be an Avon representative or a buyer.
How did I come across to this body polish?
One day my partner said to me that O2 has some offers on body shops products. The offer was spend £20 and get £10 off. I didn't pay much attention to it. Few days later we went to town and I went in to the shop. I had a little one with me and he wasn't very happy toddler at that time so I just quickly grabbed few bits costing me over £20 so I could qualify for the offer. One of that was the strawberry body polish. I have been using body polish/scrub for years now.
What does it contains / smells / feels?
This is a gentle exfoliation containing strawberries. It contains crushed walnut shell, kiwi seeds and Community Trade honey to moisturise. As you know it smells of delicious strawberries. The smell is so lovely that I could eat it. I was pleased that after showering I could still smell strawberries and my skin was so soft.
What is the packing like?
It comes in see-through red plastic bottle with the picture of strawberries. The only think I don't like it's the lid. It's so hard to open it that I have to use my teeth. I supposed they did it to prevent leaking.
The body shop price for this 200ml bottle is £9 but I don't think I will be buying it for that price. I love it, but not that much. I do think its lot money for body polish. With my offer I paid only £3.50. BARGAIN
I would definitely recommend this product.
I bought this toy when my son was 18m old because we didn't have a lot of bath toys.
I had £10 Amazon voucher and the toy was for £14.29 at that time.
Technical details from Amazon website:
* Press the button to send a polar bear up the ski lift, through the hut and down the ski jump, splashing into the bath below!
* This Aqua Fun toy includes 2 cool polar bear characters with coordinating snowboard, goggles and hat!
* No batteries required.
I had to put 3 parts together which it was very easy to do. It has two suction cups.
My son didn't like this toy at first. He cried when the polar bear was going up, not sure why, probably because the toy was too loud.
It was also too fiddly for his little fingers to pull the button down. To be honest it was a bit fiddly for me at first too. There is a button which you have to pull it down and then press another one so it will make the polar bear go up and slide down. The manufacture age is 12+ but your baby needs to be a bit older to be able to push the button down. I think it would have been easier if they attached something bigger and easier for little fingers to grab.
After a while my son did enjoy the toy. He is over 2yrs old now and he is not playing as much as he used to.
I normally don't use a foundation every day. I used to buy much expensive foundation but since my son was born I have to watch every penny.
Few months ago I bought a magazine and there was a sample of Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation in my shade Ivory. I tried it and absolutely loved it.
The bottle is very smart and easy to hold it and the lid is orange and matching with writing on the bottle. I think it's very smart and good looking bottle. It has a pump so you can't spill it.
I normally put moisturiser on the face first and wait few minutes and then I put foundation on. My face looks instantly flawless with a little bit of glow. I like that it has SPF15 so I don't have to put a sunscreen in summer. Since buying it I use it every day now and even my colleagues noticed the difference in me. This was my first buy but I will be definitely buying it more.
I bought it on the feel unique website because it costs £7.99 with free delivery. In a shop you will pay a bit more for it but I always try to look around first for cheaper.
I have bought this trampoline for my sons second birthday in June, although the manufacture age is 3yrs old. We have a small garden, so we didn't want to buy a trampoline that will take up all the space. The 6ft trampoline was the perfect size for our little garden.
I found it perfectly safe for 2yrs old because it has an enclosure. Also you can zip up the entrance and there are two clips from the outside which your little one can't undo so it's very safe in my opinion. This trampoline holds up to 60kg, however me and my little one weight is 66kg altogether. It can hold both of us ok. I supposed with my growing son he will be the only one on it. 
My partner put it up together with his friend and it took them under hour to set it up. It is a very sturdy and good made trampoline. It's also easy to clean just wipe it with a damp cloth.
The only think I don't like is that when my little one runs around it, the plastic bit around the trampoline is lifting up and I have to pull it back so he would not end up with his feet in the hole. I wish that bit was a bit longer so it would not come off.
I made a good choice of buying it because my son loves it. He still doesn't know how to properly jump but he runs around it or bounces like a little pony :-)
I bought it from Amazon for £72.83 including delivery and it was delivered within 5 working days.
