Well i'm an 18 year old retro video games with a strange obsession about the Sega megadrive and also have the aspirations to write and produce my own movie within the next two years. My obsession with old games is so horrible that I have set up my own emulation site. As for my opinions on the legalities on emulation I will say this. Old school consoles such as the sega megadrive, the nes and many older systems are not causing the current companies to loose money. The fact that people want to play these games as an alternative to modern consoles indeed says something about the quality of rubbish to great games that are produced today. Sega or Nintendo are no longer making money out of these older abandened systems so why not allow its fans to continue them on with some support and love? Mind you Blatent piracy is something that just pisses me off. That goes to all you little shits with your chipped playstations. Get a job and earn some money. Remember that the levels of current console piracy caused the 8bit Amiga and Spectrum age to crash down resulting in high prices for all games now. If like me you are a true emulation fan you will love playing the old games on your pc, but remember, they are only an alternative. hunt them down and play them on your own console. Beleive me, its very satisfying to discover a copy of Aleste for the Genesis after two years of searching....... Just enjoy games, and don't try and rip off companies. They will destroy you.
