I got my Ipod touch for Xmas 8GB version and love it. I'm so addictive to it as it's much more than a gadget to play your music on.
First of all the look for the Ipod is sleek and very pleasing to look at. The graphics the screen can produce is fantastic and the sound quality is amazing for a little gadget.
I also like that if I do not want to use my headphones it can also play your music through its in built speaker.
I have hold over 1000 songs on the 8GB model I have and still have enough room for all the Apps I need.
Wifi and App is where this gadget really comes to life for me. You can sync up your e-mail addresses (More than one is needed) get on-line in the matter of a second and surf the net like you are on a PC (Near) Of course the down side is that you are looking at pages that are meant for a 15 inch PC screen on a 7inch screen so your always moving the screen and enlarging the text. But that a small price to pay for the easy of internet access.
App's are amazing. Simple little games like poker to big games like FIFA 11 can be downloaded and played on your Ipod. If games are not your thing there are news app, weather apps, TV apps, apps for anything you could thing off.
I would recommend anyone to buys this Ipod. It is so easy to use being touch screen that anyone could use it. The price is not too bad for what you get at £160 and the choice of models and sizes are good.
My wife had 2 favourite pushchairs when we were looking for our little one. The silver Cross and Mamma & Papa's Pilko pushchairs. As you can tell (as i'm reviewing it) the Mamma and Pappas one won in the end.
We bought the gray and black model with the matching car seat in the sale for £300 total.
The M&P pushchair fit all the needs we had. The wheels are big enough to grip well over most terrains, apart from off road. You can lock all 4 wheels for safety which is always a high priority. The chair is light for an all in one chair. The silver cross was much heavier which is not what you want when you are opening and closing the chair a good few time a day.
The chair boasts a 1 hand close system. Unclick the handle locks and push up to release the lock. Once you have done that all you need to do is put the handle and the back of the chair and it folds up in 1. This was the winning point for us as we didn't want a 2 pair chair which took ages to put away when your little one is screaming in the car seat and its raining on you.
The chair is an all in one model. You can connect your M&P car seat to it when the little one is just born. The chair then converts in to a pram so you can lay your baby down for a sleep in comfort and when they get older it converts to a pushchair. It can either be reclined for the smaller 4-5 month old. Or upright for the old baby.
The one poor design feature is the straps on the buggy. When you are trying to strap your baby in, the straps do not stay in a high position, so trying to get them out of the way to place your baby in and then strap them in can be a pain.
The chair comes with an easy to fit rain cover and a basket underneath for your baby's nappies, you shopping etc....
Very good pushchair. Recommended.
Powerball, well what can I say "JOKE!!".
I brought the powerball blue from Argos for Christmas at £15. I got this fitness gadget as I play golf and as advertised it helps arm and wrist strength which is crucial in golf.
The therory behind this gadget is that the weight in the centre is balanced in such a way that when the ball is flicked the ball will start to turn on all the axis and start to build up resistance to the turning of your wrist. As you increase the speed you fight the weight to keep the ball going which in turn makes the ball feel very heavy like a weight. This then builds up muscle and strength.
Now this could be true and work wonders but not with me and I think is this just a Joke and a waste of money.
I have issues very quickly. The first ball I got only lasted me 5 days. The ball would get jammed and would not turn or operate correctly so I could not use the ball at all.
The second ball I got was ok for a week or so and then started to make a very loud banging noise ever few seconds, the last one I got was fine but after using all the previous ones I found it A) very boring. B) Quite noisy, so could not use it at work or watching TV C) didn't feel like it make any difference at all.
In the end I took it back and got my money back.
I would not recommend buying the ball but if you would like to give it a go it might be different for you.
I have owned most of the Super Mario games on the Nintendo's, from the first to last and the new Mario Bros Wii does not disappoint.
It has stayed as a 2D game instead of the Mario galaxy's 3D platform game which I think is a great move. The game has kept most of the original characters, Kooper Troopers etc... and follows the same layout, different worlds, levels, ghost houses and castles.
You can play as Mario, Luigi, or a few different coloured toads. The new addition is you can play as a family E.g... with 1,2,3 or 4 people. Me and my family found this great fun as this used to be only a 2 player game and with most families having at least 3 people someone get left out.
The levels are challenging and with the new motion controls it takes some time to get used to. Some of the levels are a through back to the original game which is fun.
There are a few new powers in the game, penguin power, shrinking power which are all needed to complete the game.
The only disappointment is that Yoshi only make an appearance in a few stages and you can not carry him through to the new level. It would have been better to include him more.
The game is well priced at £30 in my local shop and is perfect for the family.
I got my set last year and I would recommend these to anyone.
All the headphones I had before only lasted a few month and I would be buying a new pair. I have had these for nearly a year and they are as good now as they were new.
The looks of the headphones are very nice. Classic back with a silver mesh affect on the outside of the ear piece. The cable is a barber pole style affect with back and white twining all the way down.
The ear piece is where the technology comes in and cancels out the back ground noise.
The ear piece is a small, rigid plastic tube speaker that when in your ear is in your ear canal and not reason on the outside. Now this would be uncomfortable on its own of course so the plastic speak is covered be a soft silicone ear piece that when in the ear fits perfectly and seals the speaker in your ear. This cancels the background noise like sound proofing in a studio, keeps the sound in and background sound out.
When you buy the headphones the silicone piece comes in 3 sizes large, medium & small, so fits every ear. The piece is easy to change as it just clips on and off the headphone.
The silicone piece is great and makes the product work but the 1 down side that I have with these headphones is that the silicone piece can easily fall off the clip and once its gone its hard to find again. Replacements are cheap but it's a pain.
The headphones are expensive at £80 a set. But they are amazing and WELL worth it.
Perfect for every day use, but come into its own on a train, plane etc.....
Virgin Atlantic is a British airline owned by Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group and Singapore Airlines. The airline operates between the United Kingdom and North America, the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia, Virgins main bases in the uk are London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Manchester Airport. On June 22, 1984 Virgin Atlantic operated its inaugural flight between Gatwick and Newark using a leased Boeing 747-200.
I have been using Virgin Atlantic for years to travel from London to Orlando. I must have been on over 30 flights on this route and have seen the franchise change over the years. I will review this route.
The flight goes from Gatwick daily and operates 1 to 3 flights depending on the season. The planes that fly this route are all Boeing 747's and all have individual seat back TV's. The entertainment on the flights are normally very good with them showing just released films, children's TV, comedy channels and music. The only problem they have is that the system is getting very old and some screens are worse that others and need upgrading.
Economy is the standard coach class of Virgin Atlantic. The flight includes free meals and drinks for all passengers. Seats have a maximum seat pitch of 31 in.
Premium Economy has a wider seat with more legroom than Economy, and additional cabin services such as a pre-flight drink and dedicated cabin crew.
Upper Class is the equivalent of business class on all Virgin Atlantic flights. The Upper Class seat is claimed by the airline to be the biggest fully flat bed of any airline's business class service (it is approximately 202 cm long and 84 cm wide)
The food on the flight is normally good but you can get a duff meal from time to time. You always get a chicken, beef or veggie meal offered.
I would recommend Virgin to people and I find they always are the cheapest. A flight to Orlando normally cost us £350 return but we do get it in the sale.

As you can see the albums are amazing, every track is well know and really is a hit. The one thing you will notice is that there are not many early queen tracks which I think is a shame.
The Game is the eighth album by the rock band Queen and was released in June 1980. It was the only Queen album to hit the number 1 spot in both the UK and the USA. Another One Bites the Dust" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love are the only 2 song that really made it in the USA. The album was recorded in 2 parts. Half in 1979 and the other in 1980, this was due to touring.
The album see Queens shift to the main stream where they left there Rock comfort zone and went in to the Pop and Disco of the time. This album lined things up for the next album Hot Space. The album is only 35 minuets long which make it the shortest in there collection.
The album is very heavy on the bass guitar played by John. The first half of the album is the best. This half contains the hits, Another One Bites the Dust, Crazy Little Thing Called Love & Play the Game. All crowd pleasers and all feature on future greatest hits albums. The second half is good but does not have enough to get you existed. The best track in this half is Save Me.
The album is very good (As all Queen albums are) but I think more could have been done.
A Day at the Races is an album by the band Queen. It is the fifth album and was released in December 1976. The album was the bands first completely self-produced album. It was recorded at Sarm East, The Manor and Wessex Studios in England. The album title was picked as a follow on from the previous album A Night at the Opera. The album reached number one in the Uk and several other countries.
Sadly the album I think was not as good as its predecessor but that was going to be hard as it was one of the best albums Queen ever recorded. It still produced 3 classic tracks. Tie Your Mother Down a fast rock song, Somebody to Love which features Freddie at his best and Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy. Another track that I love on this album but other may not agree is You Take My Breath Away. A very slow song with Freddie and the piano.
The album was known as a good album but not a great album and I agree with them. But it still produced some gems and still sold records. I would still recommend this album to anyone but its best to go it with an open mind but if you want a hard rocking album all the way through. This is not for you.
News of the World is an album by the band Queen. It was released in 1977 and is the sixth album by band. I was one of the best selling Queen albums in the United States and also sold well around the world.
It was the album that will be remembered for bringing you the 2 unforgettable hits "We Will Rock You" & "We Are the Champions".
After the criticism (boring) Queen received following the album A Day at the Races, Queen shift their musical focus towards the mainstream and set out once again to make a unforgettable and hit making album. The album was recorded in 2 months at Basing Street Studios in Wessex, London.
At first the album again gained a critical response saying they produced another "bland" album. However after the singles were released, the reviews improved along with sales.
The tracks on the album include range from the hard rocking Sheer Heart Attack, to a softer Spread Your Wings. Of course the 2 gems of the album are the feet tapping stadium rocking We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions. These songs have become 2 of the most we known songs ever and have become sporting anthems around the world.
This album is good. A nice blend of slow and fast, heavy and soft. I would recommend buying this album.
Top golf is a new age driving range for golfers that are in Watford, Hertfordshire. The idea around the new age driving range was to make golf more appealing to families and most importantly children.
Top golf is a 2 level driving range with 40 + bays. You can rent equipment to play with or bring your own. Top golf came up with a kind of snooker type game that the family or individual can play. In each golf ball there is a micro chip that feed back data to the player on a screen above the bay. Out in the driving range its self are 10 holes in the ground which you need to aim for. In each hole are bags. When the bag falls in to the hole the micro chip is read and the computer give you the distance you have hit and in which bag it landed in. each hole has a point score and the closer you get to the middle the more point you get. (I hope I explained that good enough) after hitting all your 25 balls you add up the total point and the one with the most wins. All in all this gives a experience that everyone loves..
This is one of the greatest ideas golf has come up with and I love it. I love golf and I play off of an 8 handicap. But it does not matter what you play off or even if you have ever played. It great fun for all and is perfect for birthday parties.
The cost is the only problem. 100 balls down a normal range is about £4 here you only get 25 balls for £4. I understand that the up keep is more and the balls and technology cost more but I see it as a down side.
The Harlequin is a tow floor shopping centre in Watford, Hertfordshire. The shopping centre is just of the M1 in the middle of town. The centre houses up to 150 shops and 10 dinning options along with the high street out side.
The centre was built in 1992 as has fast become the best shopping centre around the area.
The centre has 4 car parks which link to the shopping centre so you never have to step out side on those rainy days. The car parks rarely get full apart from Christmas the best car park to use is Queens as this will give you the correct exit to go back to the M1 or round the town.
The centre houses some of the best shops Britain has to offer. Next, Disney Store, John Lewis, Mark and Spenser, BHS. It also houses some bespoke shops that are run by local businesses which are great for picking up one off presents.
The restaurants in the shopping centre are very good you have 2 in BHS, 2 in John Lewis, and 6 privately on restaurants run again by locals. Just outside the centre you have the usual McDonalds, Pizza Hut etc... if you can't find anything you like.
The centre has everything you need and I would recommend it to anyone. It might not be as big as blue water but it's still very good.
Aqua splash is a swimming pool in Hemel Hempstead. It is located just of the M1 in a complex called Jarman Park or Leisure World. The swimming pool is more like a mini water park and suites kids and adults.
The cost is about £6 per person. But you can stay in there as long as you want. They changing village is unisex and has individual booths to get change in along with family booths for parents with small kids. There is also an abundance of lockers in the village and cost 20p each time you lock them.
When you go in to the pool area you will come out by the shallow end which is great for kids. Here you have some fountains and floats for children to play with.
Beyond that you have the main lazy river that takes guests around the pool. You can also queue up for the rubber rings which you can also use to go round the lazy river in.
The pool has 3 slides and 1 river rapids. The river rapids are very good as they start near the ceiling and falls away to pool height.
The 3 slides they have are 1 for smaller guest that is slow and twisty. A Fast slide that does not have too many turns but goes very fast and the main slide (The super bowl) you will travel down the tube quite fast and in to a big bowl with a hole in the middle. You will circle round the edge until you fall out the middle in to a deep plunge pool.
This ride is great but I would only recommend to people how are good enough swimmers.
If you don't want to swim and are waiting for your children there is a small bar that will serve drinks and a few snacks. You can sit wait and relax.
This is a great place for children and adults a like. The pool is open most days and is good value.
Need for Speed Undercover is a game by AE for the PSP. The game is the 12 game of the series. The game is based around high speed driving where you have to avoid the police and complete tasks set for you. w
When you start you will have a choise of 2 small slow cars. Once you have picked you will advance to the map screen where you will see 4 boroughs. The map is the biggest AE has done for the game. You will have one area open to race in. Once you have earned enough point this will open up a second area and so on. In each area you will have between 4 and 8 games. The games are: normal race, Elimination, wreckage, drag and a few others.
You will also earn money for each race you win these can be used to tune the car you already have or you can upgrade your car. the best cars in the game are the super fast Audi R8 or Porsche 911.
The cars are very well designed and look like the real thing. Considering this is a hand healed unit i was impressed.
I would recommend this game but if you complete it to fast you will have nothing to play.
MotorStorm: Pacific Rift is a game by Evolution Studios and is based on a driving game. It is designed for the PS3 only and is the second game of the series. The game takes you to the pacific and has 4 areas, Air, Water, Fire and Earth. Each area has 4 different tracks with different style of racing. Normal race, Elimination etc.... There are also 8 types of vehicles to choose from all with different attributes some better suited for different tracks. You can also customize you car with up to 8 different designs and shells.
The graphics for this game is great. The tracks are extremely life like with mud, water, trees etc... The cars are very sensitive in crashes and total very easily. You will need to stay clear of over drivers and fixed obstacles as when you total you car it takes time to start again.
This game is great for all but it can get boring after a few weeks and you will be looking for another game. You can also compete online but I have not tried this.
