      give em a go!!

Like all mummies we want the best for our babies and ive always said to friends (that use pampers) how brilliant huggies super dry are.

I never intended to use huggies but after my daughter leaking constantly in pampers i decided enough was enough and the pampers went on ebay!

I found that they fitted really well on my daughter, they have plenty of room round the leg so she can move freely and dont dig in and plenty of room around the tummy area, they do have a stretchy waistband which helps to reduce leaks but makes it easier for them to move round too.

Inside the nappy feels very soft and feels thick enough to hold anything and they have a super-breathable material which helps keep your baby dry, there very well made good quality that you cant beat!
They have a super absorbent core which locks in moisture for up to 12 hours protection.
They are good quality nappies with disney winnie the pooh design so there unisex and they come in a range of sizes 3 ,4, 4+ ,5 and a 6 amount varies on pack and size of nappy also, i normally buy these from boots normally in a deal 2 big packs for £18.

Visit the website at www.huggies.co.uk for more info and also Get £2 off any pack of Huggies nappies when you sign up to the new Huggies Club Web Site. This offer is available exclusively to Huggies Club members.

brilliant tasty lunchbox drinks but yummy for mummy too!!

Im always on the hunt for a bargain and when i saw these in the 2 for £3 fridge section in asda i thought me and my daughter would have to give em ago!
These didnt come in the above picture they came in a box of 4x180ml cartons and there aimed at kids-being very lunchbox friendly!

These cartons are innocent smoothies in strawberry, blackberry and raspberry and there a no bits recipe.

        They say they are:-
        *100 percent pure fruit
        *No bits
        *No added sugar
        *No additives
        *No concentrates
        *No nasty sweetners

        So whats inside??
An innocent smoothie for kids is a blend of a whole crushed fruit, pure juices and absolutely nothing else.
        2 pressed apples
        Half a squeezed orange
        A quarter of mashed banana
        2 squashed strawberries
        3 crushed blackberries
        and 2 squashed raspberries.

These are to be kept refrigerated 0-5'c and once opened consume straight away. These smoothies will happily live out of the fridge for 12hours so there perfect for any kids lunchbox.

        What i think!
The packaging is very unique bright eyecatching but minimalistic if that makes sense?
These are delicious there sweet and actually do taste of berries and they have a slight twang after taste-sending the tastebuds crazy quite and aquired taste but after a few sips there lush and the good thing is there not so bad in fact there full of goodness and one carton is one of your five a day! You wouldnt no they were healthy if you didnt see the label and my daughter has half a cup of this with her breakfast and she loves it!!
They have thought of everything this company everything can be recycled, the box they come in the cartons and 10percent of the profits goes towards charitys, if you want to no more go to www.innocentfoundation.org
I will definately buy more bargain or not!!

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

brilliant magical stuff and i wouldnt be without it!!

After having my beautiful baby girl born 4lb7oz she suffered with what is very common in new babies, a very sore bum and genital area, its due to the mothers hormone being passed through to the baby and is said to calm down within a few days, but my daughters didnt seem to go away after giving her plenty of ''air to the bum bum time'' and using sudocrem at every nappy change, it didnt seem to help at all,so the sudacrem went in the medical box and out i went on the hunt for a cream that was ok for sensitive bums and not full of preservatives.
And this magical tube of Bepanthen is what i found! It comes in 3 sizes 30g,50g and 100g i found the 100g seems to be better value for money than the smaller ones the 100g retails at £5.50 from wilko's.
Pricey i no but well worth it,it lasts for well over a month and a half and thets me being very generous and using it everyday to keep nappy rash at bay!

Bepanthen is so gentle it can be used at every nappy change, it can even be used on the highly sensitive skin of premature babies, as it contains no fragrance, preservatives, colours or antiseptics.
Bepanthen is an ointment containing pro-vitamin B5.
Pro-Vitamin B5 gently aids natural skin recovery, while keeping it soft smooth and moisturised.
Additionally, Bepanthen seals in the skin's natural moisture, providing optimal conditions to allow gentle skin recovery without drying out your baby's delicate skin.
It forms a long lasting, breathable transparent layer, protecting even the most delicate skin from the causes of nappy rash. (clinically proven)
Bepanthen does NOT contain perfumes, antiseptics or preservatives.

          How should i use it??
After cleaning and drying your babies bum apply a cm amount spread it evenly and apply at every nappy change, this will protect as a barrier aswell as help the skin recover!

I have been using this everyday since, and my daughter's now 16months and she has had 2 cases of nappy rash, its brilliant stuff theres no going back to sudocrem god i didnt realise how rubbish sudacrem was until i found this stuff!!
Great for helping tattoos heal too!
GO ON GIVE IT A GO! USE IT EVERYDAY TO KEEP NAPPY RASH AT BAY!

          Disadvantages

          Yummmmyyyy!!

went to asda today and down the chilled isle was this smart price strawberry cheescake in a transparent pot (90g) showing all thats in it...A lovely thick layer of biscuit as a base, cream cheese and a rather generous dollop of strawberry sauce all this for 38p Brilliant!

          *Taste*
The strawberry sauce doesnt seem to have any strawberries in it but its very gloopy looking and very sweet and strawberry tasting and has just the right amount of it.
The cream cheese i found to be very light, and almost like a mousse which i found to be very strange in a cheescake, and the biscuit base well no faults there isnt that what we all like? its the best bit!
I found this to be very tasty indeed and very cheap for what you get!
I like to eat mine layer by layer so i can save the best bit till last all round a bargain price for a tasty treat!

All the packaging can also be recycled too which is a bonus!

            Disadvantages

wouldnt try the rest of them

I saw this lovely looking product in the co-operative priced at just 99p for a rather large bar, oh what the hell i said in my head this will sort me out!! the diet out the window! tut tut!!

This is a new product from Cadburys called bar of plenty this comes in a range of flavours apple and toffee, vanilla, berry and shortcake and hazelnut and cashew all coming in a very generous 140grams worth! I decided to try the berry and shortcake so this is the one im talking about!

The chunks are very large maybe a bit too big so you feel like you have to bite half be able to suck it, it has very generous amounts of shortcake balls which are lovely and crunchy, the berries are red and almost like raisins but have more of a zingy sour taste to them, but i found this went very well with the hole sweetness, crunchy, chewy texture in my mouth this was and ok bar of chocolate but i didnt find it very enjoyable to some.

I wouldnt buy this again because i didnt find as tasty as the good old fruit and nut and i also didnt seem to taste any vanilla in it when it states there is? soo cadburys did you forget to put it in? well atleast i gave it ago but because this wasnt to great i wont be tasting the rest.

A bright educational book for all ages!!

I brought this book from the works a local book shop priced at £4.99 this book caught my eye straight away with the bright eyecatching colours and of course the orange snake called sammy!

This book is great for eager to learn little ones its fun and easy to learn all at the same time.
Learning shapes is fun with Sammy. Each time a page is turned he pops out of his flexible ribbon and a different shape is highlighted on his back/body.
This book helps children to recognise shapes in the world around them.
Each page has a new rhyme e.g A circle is round, round like the sun, that lights up the sky while we play and have fun. Can you draw a circle? They're easy to make! try to find circles on sammy the snake.
The pages are full of bright pictures with flowers butterflies, worms, sky, ladybugs, haybales and much more!

My daughter loves this book she loves to touch Sammy as he is on a thick sheet of plastic and he slides through every page until the end. She is only 16months but i would say this book is good for all ages it encourages counting, shapes and also can just be read as a book for the younger ones--money well spent she will soon grow up to no every shape in the book!

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

good game with a few flaws which i hope to be ironed out

Seein as i have been a Ufc fan for years, when i saw this game in my local game shop i was overjoyed with the fact of a decent MMA game for a next generation console, at first i was a bit put off by the initial price off £39.99,but waited a while and was able to pick up a copy from gamestation for £25 in the sale.

When i loaded the game the 1st thing i noticed was how crisp and sharp the graphics looked in the gameplay, which was a good thing as i had played previous MMA games on old consoles.
When it was released it came with a pretty up to date roster list but i feel one added feature which greatly let the game down was the missing downloadable content, which could of included a roster update as i am forever playing the game wishing i could fight as one of the many british fights currently in the Ufc.

One of the games main good points is also in many ways what really lets it down, the anologue control system where each button on your controller is allocated a set action is a brilliant idea for getting your fighter to do what you want , but at the same time it took me about 2 weeks of serious playing time which puts off people new to mixed martial arts games. Its hard enough trying to explain to my mate what a full mount transition is, let alone trying to figure out how to do it with a manual which just says what the buttons do, but does not inform you properly that not all fighters have the abilitys.
Which brings me on to my main issue with this game, all the fighters feel the same as there is no south paw fighters in this release, and you have big heavyweights who try to do un-realistic submissions that they would never try to do, and i hope in any future updates of this game are corrected as some characters do what you would expect them to do but not all.

The career mode is not long in terms of fights as i finished my career in 38 fights (undefeated i must say). I found it to be way to over repetative and was very bored of it after the first 2 hours of playing, but stuck at it. You are able to work your way up from a fighter new on the fighting scene to world champion headlining ppv's with time to train and learn new skills with most of the well known training camps to fight fans which then unlocks sponsors you are able to place on your clothes.

                Online Play
I used to love playing this online, but then found that too many people would realize they were going to lose then just turned there console off which ruins the whole reason to playing online. Now luckily there is a patch in the games update which disallows this, and if a player does quit it is marked on there loss record to stop people cheating there way to undefeated records and achievments.

                  Disadvantages

expensive look for a bargain price!! recomend to all

I brought this wallpaper from the amazing wilkinsons priced at 6.49 a roll which to me is a bargain compared to some stores!
The picture above comes in a variety of colours plum, brown backed and duck egg blue (which is what i have) and a few others, though i must say the picture doesn't do it any justice and it looks so much better on the wall!
It looks modern, stylish its hardwearing and wipeable which is what we all need when we have mucky fingered children running around!
I personally think this would be to much for the whole room but it makes a very good focus wall.

                  APPEARANCE
Its a long flowing daisy flower with long stems that flow all the way down with buds and leaves. The background on mine is a light brown and the stems are a darker brown with duckegg large daisies!

It is a thick good quality flat walpaper that is so easy to apply anyone could do it!
You do tend to have lots of cut off but thats due to having to match up the pattern.
And why not save the cut offs and get some blank canvases and staple them and put them on the opposite wall its makes the room! well it did mine. Brill buy would recomend to all.

will defi have to buy some more!! love it!!

Found this product in wilkinsons priced at just £1!! and thought seemed as it is a limited edition african escape shower therapy and claims to revive your senses with african baobab and mandarin oil i would give it a go!

                    *Packaging*
A clear plastic modern curvy bottle with a flip up holder so it can be attached to the shower/shelf or it can be flipped back.
The opening is also black and has a flip and tight lid when the lid is opened it has a leak proof hole so you have to squeeze to get the shower gel out! This can also be recycled!!

Revive your senses with this exotic limited edition blend, containing nourishing fruit from iconic African baobab, which is known to help moisturise the body and restore the mind.
Its blended with Mandarin oil which is a great skin cleanser.
It claims to have the perfect PH balance and has had the thumbs up from skin experts.

I love this product the gel isnt runny at all its just the right texture and it lathers pretty quick in my wash mits,a 50p size amount would coat your hole body in a white lather.
The smell is a unisex smell not to strong its sort of warm smelling in fact the only way i can explain the smell is its very similar to ambi pur plug in vanilla Lilly lol!!

This shower gel leaves your skin feeling very soft ,clean and refreshed and smelling exotic and warm and helps you to unwinde after a very hectic day! The smell seems to remain on the skin for some time which i dont usually find with other products its a brilliant bargain product!

The only downfall it has is when the there is about 4 more applications remaining its really hard to squeeze out and the lid wont budge so you can get it out that way so you feel asthough you need and extra pair of hands or a pair of scissors-which i have been known to do!
Some people may not have the time to be messing about with this and to me they should think about making it easier otherwise half the product is going to be thrown away!
The gel is a golden yellow colour BUT shower users do be aware if you have a white shower curtain it stains!!

                    Advantages

                    Disadvantages

all round good buy but had better

I one of these girls that feels naked without nail polish on my toes and nails so when i found this product claiming to dry in 60 seconds in my local superdrug store i thought i would give it a go!! I brought it at just 3.49 and at the moment its three for two get the cheapest free!!

I got the funtime fuchsia which is a bright pink and i just love pink so this is the one for me!!

It comes in a glass clear bottle so you can see the colour through with a black lid, it has a pro-cision brush which im assuming means it covers most of the nail with one sweep which for me it does as i have tiny nails anyway!! It claims to do one coat and is quick and easy to apply and also dries in 60seconds! I found it took longer to dry though and also found to get the full effect it needs another coat.

I wear this colour quiet alot but i do find i need to redo it alot because it does chip very quickly and therefore doesnt look so good after a day or two-maybe i will try the non chip one next time!!
ALSO a little tip girlies to keep your nail polish as new and stop it from going tacky and old keep your nailpolish in the fridge its always worked for me!!
This product comes in a range of funky colours and are available from most cosmetics stores.

                      Advantages

                      Disadvantages

For a budget there good there filling and do the job!!

Im always on the hunt for a bargain and i saw a tin of normal asda beans and sausages priced at 65p and then looked along abit to find smart price asda baked beans and sausages priced at just 26p for a 420g tin.

                      *packaging*
Very basic white and green packaging with a bowl of tasty looking baked beans and sausages in a orange sauce.
On the packaging it claims to have no artificial flavours and no colours, preservatives or hydrogenated fats.

                      *Ingredients*
Haricot beans (37%), water, sausages (17%),pork(56%), water, pork fat, rusk(wheatflour, salt),salt, sugar, mustard, ginger, pepper, coriander, nutmeg, sage, tomatoe puree(16%), sugar, modified maze starch, salt, paprika, rapeseed oil, clove extract, cinnamon extract and garlic oil.

I have to be in the mood for baked beans but my daughter loves them for lunch on there own or with toast in fact overall you can have beans with pretty much anything!!

I opened the tin to see a sea of orange sauce no beans i mite add, i delved into the tin to find those hidden sausages and beans to find very pale looking long and thin sausages and the very small beans followed, i found the beans to be very small and there werent enough of them.

I poured half a can into a bowl and cooked in the microwave as directed and to my amazement the beans and shells all stayed together which is 1 plus! The sausages appear to look very rubbery and they seem to taste like a salty mulshy fake sausage that i wouldnt even feed a dog!!
The beans were pretty tasty but i found there was more sauce than beans so for me i wouldnt buy these again, i think i will stick to heinz or the next time try the next asda ones up!!
For a budget there good there filling and do the job!!

                            Advantages

                            Disadvantages

fun educational toy but a bit overpriced!!

I brought this for my daughter from argos retailing at £14.99 it looked bright educational and fun all at the same time!!
It comes with a triangle ,heart , star, circle and a square each with there own number written on the front.
The actual jar sings a song 'shapes are in my cookie jar, triangle, hearts and stars theres a circle over there heres a square'

It has a sensor which detects when your hand goes into to the jar to which it says 'mmmmm yummy'
when the shape is put into the right hole it will say depending on setting the shape or the number on the shape.
The sound level can be changed at the bottom of the jar and the number or shape setting can be changed just under the nose!
The nose can be pressed and it lights up and says different phrases.
My daughter loves this product she gets them all out and then has many hours of fun putting them all back in again and she loves the singin part too!!
I must say the american voice does get quiet annoying though and you will find yourself singing along with it look at me i know the song off by heart!! lol

This fun learning product is ages 6months and over and requires 3x AA batteries which are included if brought from Argos but cannot be sure from any other retailer.
