We booked into this hotel in order for me to attend a university interview, and we weren't expecting much of it if we're honest. On arrival the receptionist was friendly and helpful, and sent us on our way to our rooms. The rooms were spacious and had everything you could need, with nice flatscreen TVs with freeview. Our only complaint is that one of the rooms was quite cold, and we couldnt swap the air con off and onto heating, and after assuring us somebody would come from reception after an hour they never did, so we gave up and swapped as my dad doesn't mind cooler rooms. We headed down to the bar for dinner, and again I was expecting 'average' food. I ordered the ribs and they were so tender it was unbelievable! Both of us were very impressed both with the food and the quality of the sevice. The area was lovely with plenty of bars, restuarants and 'proper' liverpool history nearby, and our windows had a nice view of 'the wheel of excellence' which is quite impressive at night. Would definitely recommen to anyone without hesitation (we'll be staying there again when we go to look at accomodation for my degree!)
I had this phone for a couple of months, and had nothing but problems with it! My friend had one which is what convinced me to buy it, as at a glance its a stylish and sleek little phone, with plenty of neat little feastures to keep you occupied and to play around with. When it arrived I was very excited, and for the first couple of weeks it was fine, however then the problems started. To start off with, the hold button wouldnt work, which whilst mildly irritating, didnt completely stop me from using the phone. The next problem was the phone freezing. It would freeze randomly, and the only way to get past it was to turn it off and on again, which it soon decided to do on its own, and would freeze then switch off. In the end I gave up, and sent it back to Vodafone as luckily it was on contract, and they didnt seem very suprised with my complaints and simply sent me the next model up (Samsung Tocco Ultra -S8300V) which is in my opinion a better phone. The SGH-F480 did have its good points, such as the games, internet, and the fact you could have multiple applications open at once, so could switch from the internet to texts etc. but this is only worth it if you can get the phone to work for longer than 30 seconds....
I got Just Dance for the Nintendo Wii as a christmas present, and I've hardly stopped playing it since! Its nice that there's finally a dance game that can challenge those of us who're good at dancing (having done it all my life the old-style dancemat games etc. all seemed a bit too easy) yet can still be fun for all the family, from younger brothers and sisters to grandparents! It's an excellent way to keep fit, I've definitely noticed a marked improvement in my fitness and flexibility. Theres a good range of songs as well, that are all well known and loved by many to make dancing that little bit more fun. I also like the shortened version, allowing you to dance to a shorter version of the song, perfect if you're trying to build your fitness, want to play lots of songs, or in a group to save others waiting around for too long The only flaws I've found in this game are that some movements dont get picked up, making the scoring a bit unreliable, and it takes a little while to get the hang of what the movements are and what you're actually meant to be doing, but in my opinion thats all part of the fun of the game! It excellent to play in a group, although you need quite a bit of room, so 'dance offs' are usually more popular in my house because there's not enough space for 4 of us at once! Overall, I think this is an excellent game, and would thoroughly reccomend it to anyone who wants a dance game for parties, get togethers, to keep fit or just to play for fun!
