This is a review for Toyo Open Country (H/T) Highway Terrain tyres.
The Open Country (H/T) tyre is intended to be used 95% on road and 5% off road. Its a road tyre that still maintains a bit of off road ability.
I have currently have a set of 4 fitted to by Subaru Outback. I really like them. This may be due to the fact that I replaced a set of Geolander g900 tyres. What a load of rubbish! The amount of noise they used to make.
With the Toyo's I get very little road noise, the grip in the wet and dry is decent for this type of tyre (They are never going to be low profile sports tyres).
In the snow and ice over last winter these tyres performed wonderfully and I never got stuck. The only time I have really tested their mud ability was in a famers field at a bonfire display. Numerous normal vehicles were being towed out by a tractor. A Range Rover Sport with low profiles was also struggling. The combination of 4x4 and these tyres meant I could simply drive out the field.
Is a good espresso machine that makes a good cup of coffee.
However there are a few limitaions ....
1. The small size of the unit makes it difficult to place anything but the smallest cups under the coffee machine. I had to go and buy some small espresso cups.
2. The milk steam tube is not that long. This means that you have to use a relively shallow container with the mikl in otherwise the frother won't reach the liquid.
3. The water ready heating light goes off after 10 seconds of starting your coffee. I am not sure if this means that it can't maintain the pressure or the water heat through the brewing process.
I suppose these are all issues you would expect from a £50 espresso machine. There must be a reason why the expensive Italian ones are £200!
Even with the negatives listed above I still like my little espresso machines and it makes a good cup of coffee.
Does exactly what it says on the bottle. Good value and works.
I could talk about the science of this stuff but I am sure if you are looking at buying this stuff then you know what it does and why you need it.
In the past I have used conditioners that talk about leaving the water for 12 hours after treating before adding to your aquarium. The Tetra Aquasafe does not mention any time requirements. I simply add the required amount to my bucket of new room temp water and then add to the tank. So far no fish have died using this approach. Its a small thing, but what I really like about this product (apart from the fact it hasn't killed any of my Tiger Barbs) is the lid. This lid has small markings on it so you know exactly how much you are putting in. Overall a very good product.
Do not buy this phone! My wife has this phone and she regrets getting it. The main issue with the phone is the call quality. Every 1-2 minutes the audio level of my wife talking on the phone will drop so low that she can only just be heard. Every time I call her I end up saying "what did you say?" at least a few times. We have taken it back to the shop and had a replacement phone but it also does the same thing. The only reason she got the phone was due to the fact it was free on a contract and I got a free Playstation 3 with it! Apart from the above issue the phone is very average and does not do anything special.
In the last week my wife has decided that I am going to have to buy her a new phone as she can't live with the Samsung Tocco Lite. It would seem some clients of her's have complained.
Be warned! Stay away from this phone.
I have used the Berghaus Freeflow IV 35+8L for nearly 18 months. I have taken it to the top of great hills such as Great Gable and Scafell Pike and lesser known hills as Whin Rigg. In all of these mini adventures the bag has never let me down.
The bag is so good that I have bought the women specific version for my wife.
The good points ......
1. Extremely comfortable bag. anyone who uses a cheap bag with no rigid frame will notice a massive improvement going to this bag.
2. The Freeflow back system. If anyone tells you that this stops your back sweating 100% they are lying or work for Berghaus! However I will agree that it does significantly reduce back sweat.
3. The attached waterproof cover. When you have this cover on your bag is completely protected (i have tested this on top of 'The Cheviot' in a torrential rain storm. I was soaked, but the bag was fine!)
The bad bits .......
1. None really. Maybe a tiny bit larger.
I own a 2005 Subaru Outback 2.5. Currently done 50,000 miles and going strong.
1. Not a common car. You hardly ever see an Outback (unlike driving a Mondeo estate!)
2. The engine sounds great
3. Very roomy and flexible for transporting items
4. The AWD system is great. It performed extremely well in the recent snow.
5. For 2.5 petrl engine the economy is not that bad (26-30MPG). I have had mine converted to LPG so it relatively cheap to run.
6. Reliabiliy is great. Never had any issues part from wear and tear.
2. Expensive to repair. The parts are extremely high quality, however there seems to be a lack on non subaru replacement parts. I recently had the 50,000 service, cambelt changed and new front discs and pads and it came to £750! I trust my garage as I have bee using it fior years. They said it was simply due to the price of the parts. You also have more items to service compared to a 2wd car - e.g AWD transmission oil.
Summary - I would buy another one. I have test driven the diesel model and its lovely.
THIS IS THE BEST ROUTER I HAVE EVER USED!!! I have struggled with a cheap PC world Belkin router for many years. Eventually it died. A friend who is an IT technician recommended the Zyxel. Ever since I have never looked back. It connects to my broadband so quickly. It also has a power switch that means I can save money by turning it off at night. It also has very useful button that allows you turn the WIFI off. This is a great feature as I only need WIFI 5% of the time. This must also save a bit of money with reduced electricity bills. The only slight negative feature is the look of the unit. Its a tiny bit dated compared to the more recent belkins etc. However I am willing to overlook this due to its great reliability and functionality. I will never go back to Belkin after using a zyxel.
This extrenal harddrive looks the part and is very easy to install. Simply conect via USB and your PC recognises it as a harddrive. After 2 months of owning the drive I started to get a lot of clicking noises from the drive. I was a bit concerned about this. However after 2-3 days the clicking has gone and never done it since. Even with the clicking the drive worked perfectly. I sue this to transfer videos and jpegs between my PC and laptop. I also use it to transfer video files to my parents PC.
I have USB 2.0 on my PC and the transfer speeds are quick enough for me. As someone has previouslky stated you would not want to run a game or application from the drive as it would be to slow. For a back up drive its good. I got mine for a bargain £45 in Maplins.
A good solid PDA / mobile phone. I have a HTC 6500 issued to me at work. So far I have proven that with a good case the phone is very solid and can be dropped from 1 metre with no damage! Due to it being a work phone I have to log on with the fingerprint sensor. This can be a frustrating experience. Sometimes it can take 2-3 attempts before it accepts me. The screen is a decent size and the included windows mobile software is good. The processor is a fairly quick one and there is very little dely in running applications. Its a shame that it ships with windows mobile 6.1 and not the new 6.5.
For me the size is not an issue. However this is not the type of phone you can have in the your pocket without other people realing. As a business phone it is good, solid and reliabe
I like this phone. I have had it for 5 months now and I have had my ups and downs with it. When I first got it I loved the Samsung homescreen software where you can move between 3 different homepages and drag different apps on to it. However I soon got bored of this due to the delay that this software caused. I have now removed the samsung homepage application and I simply have a standard windows mobile homepage. Sometimes the samsung software can been seen but as a windows mobile phone its great. Windows 6.5 is a massive improvement over the old OS. Don't get me wrong, this is not an iphone beater! I however prefer windows to the iphone software (i have alot of software that I install on my windows phone).
The screen on this is great. really decent resoultion. The touch screen is very responsive. The camera is decent. You get wifi, gps and bluetooth. It also looks the part. I have given it only 3 out of 5 due to the samsung software. As a pure windows phone I would give it 4 out of 5.
I bought this montior when I saw it going cheap on ebuyer in 2009 (£125). As soon as I opened the box I realised that it was a quality product! I love the samsung style (I have recently bought a 37" Samsung tv that looks very similar). I do a lot of photo editing on my Pc this monitor provides the best colour presentation I have ever seen. I also use it for gaming and find that the 2ms response time is very adequate. I have never suffered from ghosting etc. The 20" size is perfect for me as the screen as has enough detail witht e high resolution. I would recommedn that you connect it via DVi rather than VGA (RGB) as the details is massivley increased. The only slight negative is that the black glossy surroundings of the monitor does seem to attract dust! Apart from that I would recommend the monitor to anyone!
