Picture quality: This LCD's picture quality is superb, the colours look really rich and pure jumping out of the screen at you, suprisingly even if the room is covered in light it doesnt massively effect the colour clarity this is mainly down to the 42LF7700's Intelligent sensor which can be found on the bottom right-hand corner of the LCD what this does is use a light sensor to automatically adjust the backlight to improve the contrast, this constantly adjusts the backlight as the rooms light changes, giving you the best quality at all times. Conclusion: If what you are looking for in an LCD is fantastic picture quality, rich, superb sound, the privellege of Freesat and an all round gorgeous looking LCD finished of with a great low price then this is the LCD for you.
Introduction: Call of Juarez is a western developted by Techland, this old west themed-first person shooter contains all of the elements to create a perfect western such as train robbery, Gunslinging and horse riding. Story: The game is based around two very interesting characters the first being Billy Candle he is a half-mexican searching for the legendary lost gold of Juarez, this treasure is somewhere within the city of Juarez and Billy cant find it. As Billy cant find the treasure he decides to visit his parents in the little town of Hope, Billy just arrives to find his parents brutally murdered. The second character is called Reverend Ray, he is Billys step-uncle, Ray used to be a gunslinger but has now dedicated his life to preaching, word gets round about some trouble at the old farm so Ray goes to check it out and ironically arrives on time to see a worried Billy running away for the bloody masarce of the corpses of Rays sister-in-law and his brother. This point is where the story and game kicks of as Ray has put two and two together and come up with five so decides to go get his old trusted revolvers and hunt his step-nephew down. Gameplay: The uniqueness about this game is having two playable characters one being the hunter other the huntered this makes for very exciting gameplay. Billy approaches the game in a more stealth like manner sneaking and climbing, the weapons you use playing as Billy is a bow and arrow and a whip, the whip is Billys unique weapon as this can be used to help you in climbing. Ray has a much more in your face, hands on approach you use guns and explosives to blast your way through the levels, this is definetly more entertaining. Rays unique weapon is stangely a bible by pressing a button Ray will start quoting passages from the bible which will stop nearby enemies as they will stop and listen giving you time to blow the heads off. Ray can also go into concentration mode which puts the gameplay into slowmotion and gives you a pair of targetting reticles which you aim with at the chosing enemy and then empty the lead into them. Gunslinging is also another feature of being Ray, this lets you enjoy some gun duels against different gunslinging enemies. Horse back is another feature available within the game this is available for both characters, this is an all round enjoyable experience although controls take a bit of getting used to but once mastered it is fine. The campaign should last between 8-10 hours, and there is also some bonus missions to do and some gun duels. Xbox LIVE is fairly simple, straightforward, FPS action but this is still enjoyable, their are a variety of modes such as death match, capture the flag, etc. Graphics: Call of Juarez looks spectacular the graphics certainly are one of the key features of the game, the mountains and the western enviroment looks truely magnificent this due down to some great lighting and texture work. The characters in the game look really good, the detail on the characters are top notch but they are a bit of a let down by some stiff animations but this is overshadowed by to many positives within the game. Sound: The sound-effects are quality their is a wide variety that all sound realistic and the soundtrack for the game keeps well with the western theme helping to build up a great atmosphere, voice acting is fairly decent they all perform an entertaining performance. Conclusion: Call of Juarez delivers a very enjoyable experience, this is one of the better western games available today on the market and is a very pleasing shooter, the uniqueness of the two playable characters through the game makes it a lot of fun. This game is worth getting its a solid bit of fun and has a bargain price.

The microsoft xbox 360 wireless controller is the most comfortable controller on the market. This controller is very light even with batteries inserted, it feels extremely well put together you cant feel any moving parts, showing the build quality of this controller. The materials used to make the controler are first class from its buttons to its sticks and the controllers enclosure. The buttons on the controller are layed out perfect each button is easy to reach, in the middle of the controller there is a button called "the guide button" this bring up a menu allowing you to access the consoles settings, check who is online, send mail and read mail, etc. The guide button is a fantastic idea revelutionising controllers even Sony and Nintendo has took similar ideas with Sonys ps button and Nintendos home button. The wireless technologie within the controller doesnt need any externall receptors as it has been built into the console, the controllers range is over 30 feet with no less of connectivitie. The controller may be wireless but that doesnt mean delays or less rumbling it performs exactly the same as a wired controller. The controller is powered by two AA batteries giving you 40 hours of life, there are also chargers available if you dont want to keep buying batteries. Fallout 3 is a landmark in gaming , Bethesda really have set the standards high for this fantastic RPG. Fallout 3 was a long awaited game from its predecesors and while Fallout 3 doesnt feel like the first two games it does a great job standing on its own two feet. The success for this game lies in its interesting, dynamic storyline you can either be good or bad how this works is a karma system you do good thing such as helping people you get karma you do bad things such as blowing up a city you get bad karma this system effects the games storyline greatly resulting in different endings, with this way of playing the game has many reasons to come back to just to see what it will be like if you choose another path. The games map is at a truely epic scale holding many surprises for the player, their are many cities, vaults, buildings scattered around the wasteland storing an exciting array of quests. The characters in Fallout 3 have a lot of depth to them mainly down to the speech tree system, the speech tree gives you the option of what to say to the characters resulting in you finding out information and getting quests, the depth into the characater makes you care for the character and feel their emotions and only few games have the quality to deliver this. Another gameplay aspect of fallout 3 is the VATS aiming system, The player can choose were to shoot the target by stoping the gameplay and bringing up a lock-on mode by pausing the gameplay and then giving you an option of were to shoot the target. In the game you use a gadget on your arm called a pipboy 3000 this gadget allows you to access your items you can equip weapons and armour or repair equipment, this also allows you check your karma rating, your perks and your level, the pipboy also has a map and stores all your quests and even has a radio, the pipboy is a great feature to the game as its very easy to access and use. The games currency is bottle caps yes thats right bottle caps, you use caps to buy weapons, ammo, armour, or pay to get your items repaired, the sell and buy system is really easy to use you just select the items you want to buy or sell which makes a list and when you"re finished sellecting you just press a button and the transaction is complete. Throughout the game the are many weapons, armour, etc you will come across raging from pistols, plasma rifles and shotguns, you can also buy schematics this gives you a blueprint of a weapon, with a list of items needed to create the weapon, after you have all the items on the list you can go to a workbench a create the weapon. The leveling system is very similar to its brother oblivion you gain xp by completing quests and slaying monsters, when you have filled up your xp bar you will level up once leveled you are assigned some points to add onto your stats such as big guns, explosives and speech adding the points to certain stats will increase how effective you are with it for instances if you have many points in big guns this will make the larger weapons in the game more powerful and also improves your aiming in the VATS system, once you level you are also given the option of a new perk this might be a stat bonus or something that will help you in the game some way like being able to carry more items, the leveling system works really well. The graphics in Fallout 3 are excellent there is a lot of texture and detail put into the characters and the enviroment when able to see the vast landscape of fallout 3 from a height you can really see how marvellous the graphics are, the game uses the Gamebryo engine which is the same engine used for oblivion but you can see how the detail in the game has improved greatly, the character animations run a lot smoother and are more fluid incomparision with oblivion. This game has so many quests and sidequests the by just finishing the game and all its sidequests should come to around 80-90 hours of gameplay thats not including the DLC which is 5 expansions including these would boost the gameplay to around 130-150 hours which maks this game a great bargain and a MUST BUY.
