After using this brand of deodorant for a number of years, I have found that it always does a good job of keeping you odour free for the day. It does sting a little if putting it on after just shaving your underarms, but it's bearable. The only downside to the deodorant is that it does leave some white marks on your clothes that I can't seem to get out. Over time this does build up and means that you have to buy a new item of clothing, but every other deodorant I've used has done the same and this is only a small amount so will take a while to ruin a top.
I like this particular fragrance as it's neutral, it does not have an overpowering fragrance it just does it's job and you can then use perfume or body spray to smell of the fragrance you like.
Overall, this is a good deodorant and has been used by myself for years, I will continue to use this deodorant for the foreseeable future.
Since having my first iPhone (3G) I have never looked back, I love them! Each one gets better and better, browsing the internet, texting through iMessage to other iPhone users, taking photographs, videos, being able to use a range of applications, playing music and many more things all available at the press of a button. The latest iOS evens allows you to update without plugging it in.
My favourite part is being able to check and reply my emails whilst out and about. It makes life so much easier especially when working 2 jobs. The quality of the camera gets better and better each time, I love the fact that you can get a good photograph on your phone and I love being able to send these through email at the click of a button.
The App Store is a great place for updating and finding out about new apps, I always browse the top 25 free ones to see what's on offer for free and download them if of interest. Downloading songs from iTunes is great too, you can use your bank card to purchase more or upload a gift voucher and use the credit from that. These are then available on your phone and laptop/computer in iTunes.
The iPhone 4 has a nice shape and look, the glass screen wipe clean and look smart at all times. The cost of the phone is a lot but it is definitely well worth it. I bought it from the Apple Store just after it came out last year for £500. I have only had one problem with it and that was my fault - I dropped it in a car park and smashed the screen but after booking an appointment with the Genius Bar (in the Apple Store) they changed my phone for me free of charge! I was a VERY happy customer after that I can tell you. It really made me feel like Apple value their customers, as there's no way I would have been able to afford to buy a new one again.
I had this electric toothbrush as a present last Christmas and haven't looked back, before having it I used a normal toothbrush, but the difference in the way it cleans your teeth is unbelievable. I was very impressed by it's performance with regards to cleaning and how long the battery lasts. I would say I probably need to charge it once a month, after using it once a day, every day. I change the brush about every 2 months, I bought a pack of four from the local supermarket, which was really handy. The brush itself is in the £20-£30 range which is reasonable I think. It lasted 8 months before the battery went a bit strange setting itself off when I didn't want it to and then not working when I wanted it to. I just replaced it with the same one from the local supermarket. All in all I am happy with this toothbrush and at the moment wouldn't consider purchasing a different one!
I bought this with the idea to browse the internet at home (using wifi) instead of having a heavy & hot laptop on my lap and it serves it's purpose well. I regularly listen to music and watch video clips on it, all of which sound and look good. I like the fact that the same applications that are on the iPhone can be used on this. It is easy to use and the picture quality is good, and the touch screen works well. It is light and an adequate size for browsing the internet and being able to view the pictures/text.
Having the same charger as the iPhone & iPod is helpful meaning I only have to use one for all three and have spares incase something goes wrong or on the rare occasion need to charge more than one at once.
The bad bits are: it's expensive, sometimes you get carried away and think it's like a laptop then realise it isn't, the battery doesn't last very long and back gets scratched easily.
After having the kindle since it was first released in the UK, I can honestly say that I am still using it to this day. With some technology you buy it, use it for a couple of months and then the novelty wears off but this hasn't happened with the kindle. I can also buy new books for it and find it easy to use when travelling on the train rather than having to carry a heavy book about.
For browsing the internet it is quite slow but then I didn't buy it for that. The e-books in the kindle store are reasonably priced and there is a good variety for all.
The battery life is good, lasting a few weeks. The screen is good for reading from not giving me eye strain and the kindle case, which I purchased shortly after is a god send for using the kindle in the dark as the light which is part of the cover is positioned in just the right place to light up the screen adequately.
This is my favourite hand wash of all time! I love everything about it, from the smell to the way it leaves your hands to the price. Sometimes you will find it on offer at your local supermarket or pharmacy for £1 which is even better. The best bit for me is the smell, not only does it smell wonderful at the time of washing your hands but also after the smell stays on your hands. It helps out with dry skin too so if you are prone to dry skin and appreciate good smelling products then this is the product for you.
I find when using this product that I don't have to use a lot to get a good lather which means that it lasts longer and for the price it is definitely a great buy! I recommend this to anybody, and will continue to buy this product myself! Happy washing!
Radox muscle soak really does allow you to relax those muscles in the comfort of your own bath. If you have achy muscles this is the bubble bath to use. Every time I have had achy muscles whether through a cold/flu style illness or an achy back I reach for the Radox muscle soak and it definitely helps to soothe and relax them.
The smell of the bubble bath is good, it again helps you to relax, if you're looking for feminine smelling bubble bath then this isn't the one for you but it certainly won't make you smell of a masculine fragrance. You don't have to use too much to get lots of bubbles and the price is satisfactory too. It's one of my two favourite Radox bubble baths and I would definitely recommend to anyone who is in need of a relax or that has achy muscles and needs to soak them.
I use this mouthwash every day, not only does it give me confidence about having minty fresh breath, I also know that it is cleaning my teeth. After visiting the hygienist and telling her I use listerine, her response was any other mouthwash I would have said no to but listerine is good. I really like the green 'fresh mint' listerine because of it's flavour and how I feel it leaves my breath smelling, I have tried some of the other flavours but have always gone back to this one. On the bottle it says to gargle for 30 seconds, however, I don't think this is possible, after about 10 seconds you are really to get rid of it because of it's strength. I use this product once a day, this type of usage means the bottle lasts over a month. It's more expensive than other brands of mouthwash, but I wouldn't choose any other mouthwash over listerine. I have total confidence in this product and would recommend it to anyone.
I always look forward to Louise Bagshawe's latest book out and this one did not disappoint. About halfway through you can usually predict what's going to happen at the end, but it's how she gets there I like. This story in particular is about a girl called Kate who had a hard childhood after her father left, with only her mother to look after her. Kate worked hard and then married money in the hope that she would be satisfied once she was rich. This was not the case. She made one friend along the way and lots of enemies who couldn't wait to tell her and everybody else what they thought of her when Kate's world fell apart halfway through the story.
Kate learns the hard way how to get what she wants, having to start again on her own with no friends or family. The journey to the happy ending has lots of twists and turns which I thoroughly enjoyed. I couldn't put this book down. Louise's description of the characters make you feel like you know them, hence why I couldn't put the book down. You learn to love and hate the different characters, it was a brilliant holiday read.
The only bad thing I have to say about this book is that sometimes the very detailed description about what the people are wearing can be a little much.
At first I was very happy with this toaster, the stainless steel look matched the other items in my kitchen, and it did what it should; toasted bread. But after a short while it's already started to look marked on the stainless steel part, causing it to look old before its time. Also the top of the bread hangs slightly out of the top of the toaster and unless you're watching it and popping it before it's finished to turn it upside down you end up with one part of the bread uncooked. Also, you need to get used to the dial quite quickly otherwise you end up with burnt toast quite often. The crumb tray holds most of the crumbs, but I do get a lot that stay on the top of the toaster and feel like I am continually wiping them off. Lastly, when reflecting upon my purchase I do feel that the way my toaster looks after not too long of having it and it not being used that frequently that it was a little expensive.
I've had a Toyota MR2 G-limited (t bar) 1992 for approximately 3 and a half years, in this time I have never had any major trouble with it. I have nicknamed it 'my little go-kart' purely because it's so lightweight I can nip around and take corners faster than a lot of other cars and really feel like it's firmly on the ground with no sliding or skidding issues. It's smallness means that it never takes long to heat up or cool down the seating area when driving in different temperatures. Not having the turbo hasn't been a problem for me and it means I still get a nippy car that doesn't need warming up or cooling down of the oil.
The t-bar means I can have the glass roof panels off in the summer, but to be honest this is something I haven't done very often because I feel worry that they are not safe slotted in behind the seats when driving in the car. I have found because of the age of the car and the rubber seals showing their age that it doesn't seal as well as it should on the glass top and sometimes have a drip or two or rain come in, also because of the car having no metal edging on the door top, in the winter this can cause freezing of the rubber to the glass and has made it difficult to get into the car on a few occasions. Also, only having the 2 seats has sometimes been an inconvenience but to be honest with a sports style car it's what you expect. I love the relaxed style of the seating position, at first I found the seating area very low to get in and out of but now I love it! Overall, I am very happy with the car and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun car!
When looking for a mixer that would take away the elbow grease of having to mix cakes manually, I didn't look at any other brand than Kenwood. After remembering what my parents mixer was/is like I knew that Kenwood was the way forward. Their mixer has lasted them well over 20 years and is still going strong!
The Kenwood Chef Titanium came with many attachments, including; a K Beater, balloon whisk, dough hook and Flexi Beater. I was also very pleased with the clear splash guard which has been a god send when using flour and icing sugar. The mixer also came with a liquidizer attachment, which has been very handy when making soups and milkshakes. The instructions and the recipe book is very clear and helpful, I was and still am amazed at the number of things you can do with this mixer. The attachments you can buy to add to it, the amount of meals, and food products you can make with it and the performance it gives, whipping up cakes in a matter of minutes, have all exceeded my expectations. Overall this mixer is quieter than it's predecessors, has a stylish matt silver finish and is an adequate size for standard family use (4.6l bowl). The only bad thing I can say about this mixer is that I was surprised it didn't come with the protective cover, however, this was easy and cheap to purchase from the same store.
After using this camera myself for a number of years I have found it to be reliable and to produce photographs of a good quality. At first, it can be a little confusing with all the buttons and options available but after reading the manual I was able to operate most of the camera. I particularly like the function where you can take a sequence of photos, this was particularly handy on a recent boat trip, watching a sea eagle fishing. The photographs are clear even when the subject matter of the photograph is moving.
For landscape photographs I do find the standard lens not quite wide enough and sometimes I wish the zoom would go in closer, but to be fair for the price we paid you can't expect all those things. The lens is easily detachable so can be replaced with others if necessary. The camera didn't come with a case, but you can purchase one for it quite easily.
