About this Member

I'm just an old Dinosaur with a lot of prehistoric views. I love to have a rant about all sorts of subjects so please feel free to rant back.I am 63 years old and have been married to Sylvia for 42 years. We have 3 children & 7 Grandchildren. We live in New Malden surrey but both lived for the most part of our younger lives in Battersea South London. We enjoy beach holidays in a sunny climate. Chinese, Indian, and Thai food. (Especially Thai Food.) We have a Great Dane called Pharoe who loves to come with us when we go off in our touring Caravan for long weekends.Music: We both enjoy old fifties/sixties stuff And I am a great fan of Status Quo we went to see them at wembley and Bournmouth what a fantastic atmosphere. I also like Queen, E.L.O. and the Eagles. Elvis was never really a great favorite except his real early stuff. We also enjoy Reggai U.B.40 especially. I am facinated with anything historical and love watching the documentary channels on T.V. My favorite period is the Napolionic era. Loved the Sharp series on the box but the books are so much better. I also like reading Alexander Kent's books on the british Navy of the same period. We both love Scotland for a holiday in the caravan as we find it so beautiful and very relaxing. I love to get feedback on my opinions even if it's negative,so please let me know what you think.
