The Dyson DC25 animal all floors bagless upright. Someone in a big fancy office was probably paid a large sum of money to come up with that name! But to be quite honest with you they got it right. It does exactly what it says on the tin. It is the best vacum cleaner I know for picking up long cat and dog hair. To me, it looks a bit odd but it never loses it's
suction power whatever the surface. The easy to empty, washable filter is very handy too. The turbo brush which comes with the animal is usefull on the stairs but I would have prefered a little more tube length..Well alot more really, for reaching the top of the stairs and the tube is very stiff to extend (maybe it stretches with wear?) and try to be careful putting the handle back in after use, it has a nasty catching you out if you don't watch what you are doing. All in all a good lighter than average cleaner
I was looking for a cheaper end point and shot camara to replace my ageing Canon 440 powershot. The Samsung ST60 has turned out to be a good quality prouduct. I found that the camera was widely available from local shops and off the internet, The quality of the still photos is excellent couldnt ask for more from a point and shoot. I haven't used the video
side of the camera, but if it's half as good as the still photos then it should be more than adequate. The size off the camera is also a plus point, and my wife is more than happy to carry it around in her handbag. Would I recomend this prouduct...If you are looking for a good point and shot, then the answer as to be a big yes! If you are looking for a camera to use for more than just point and shoot photos then perhaps you may want to look at a more expensive camera with more features.
We have owned our Kia cee'd 1.6 crdi SW for two years now, and to be quite honest we couldn't be happier. The car still manages to surprise us now and again with the way it performs and the amount of space the Cee'd has to offer.
The car will carry five adults in reasonable comfort and with enough room in the back for all their day to day luggage.
If you fold the rear seats flat it has almost van like proportions swallowing almost anything that you would like to throw at it within reason.
The interior is well laid out and all the controls are easy to use and it also boasts an excellent sound system.
The engine in the Kia Cee'd is one of its strong points, it pulls strongly from low to the mid rev range, where most of us average drivers use it.
In everyday use the car is more than adequate, with a smoothness and quietness of a much more expensive car. It's not the quickest thing off the line but then I can't see any boy racers buying a family car like the Cee'd, one things for sure when you catch up with them at the next lights, you will have got there using less fuel, in more comfort, and your sound system will not have to be on full blast to be able to hear it.
I am finding it difficult to pick holes in our Kia Cee'd, but if I was to be pickie the first thing I would mention is that it is not cheap for a Kia, but then the 7 year warranty says alot about it's build quality, 100% better than the Kia of old.
The Kia Cee'd is not for every one but if you are looking for a good reasonably priced family car, then look past the badge and take it for a test drive then ask yourself if the other cars in it's class are worth the extra money... I think you might be suprised.
If you're looking for a small car then the Kia Picanto has to be on your list. If you shop around you will find that it is way cheaper than most of it's competitors. Here's a tip, look around the car hypermarkets or similar, and pick up a pre registerd model and save yourselves even more money!
Don't be put of by the cars small looks, it really is quite spacious inside, now I'm not saying you will get three adults in the back with any degree of comfort but they will fit...Just! The boot is rather small but then you are buying a small town car not an estate. The boot size is helped by the 60/40 split folding seats which is a plus. One thing that deserves a mention for all you mums is the picanto comes with child seat anchor points.
The car has all the knobs and switches you would ever want in a small car, including a much better than average sound system, this is quite useful because the engine can become quite harsh sounding when pushed hard. Talking about the engine our 1000cc Picanto would not win any races, but did show a willingness to try it's best at all times. On the motorway the car did take it's time to reach the speed limit but once there it would cruise quite happily. We did many a long trip in our Picanto and always felt ok when we reached our destination.
The running costs these days are important and here the Picanto stands out, in the two years we owned our car it never once let us down and never needed and single penny spending on it apart from normal every day servicing costs. The Picanto also feels like it runs on fresh air at times, which is good because it has a relatively small fuel tank which can lead to you into thinking that you have to fill up more than you should.
So to sum the Kia Picanto up. It is a cheerful little car that doesn't really excel in any one area but is very good in most. It is 100% reliable and you will look forward to getting in the car in a morning, or whenever knowing the car will start, take you where you want to go with a willingness to please.
By the way, because of the Picanto when we needed a much bigger car we picked a new Kia Cee'd... Another review on that car shortly.
