      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Great product, best pressed powder on the market in my opinion

      What this product does....
This product is Creme Puff by Max Factor and it is supposed to give great coverage. You can use this product on bare skin, moisturised skin and even on top of your foundation. It is supposed to cover your imperfections and set the look of your beautiful face.

      Packaging...
It is a pressed powder in a black plastic circular container. When you take the lid off you see the powder and you also get your own sponge with it, the sponge is okay but I prefer to buy my own and use that. You do not get a mirror with this product either.

      Price and availability....
I bought mine for £3.99 in Boyes, but anywhere you get Max Factor makeup you will find it there.

      Range....
These powders come in a wide range of colours to suit any skin tone but the one I use is nouveau beige

      What I thought....
I needed a powder to out on top of my foundation because as it is starting to get sunnier I am starting to get hotter and sometimes my foundation has an awful shine on it that makes my skin look way too greasy. I found this product really easy to apply and it smells beautiful, I have never smelt a face powder that smells as nice as this one.i did find the product covered my face remarkably well and stayed on throughout the day, it also stopped my face from getting greasy and an awful shine. On top of all of this it was a very light wearing powder and it did not cake my face.

      Advantages.....
Cheap for the quality you get,
      Wonderful smelling,
      Lightweight,
      Great coverage,
      Stays on all day,

      Disadvantage...
The only thing wrong with this is the lid just slides off, it comes off way to easily.

      Would definitely recommend.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Great moisturiser wouldn't use anything else

What the product is supposed to do....
This product is No7 Protect and Perfect Night Cream. It is supposed to moisturise your skin overnight while delaying the age process on your face. It is also supposed to lighten lines, imperfections and wrinkles on ones face. It is also hypo allergenic.

      Packaging...
The tub does not come in a box but it comes in a plastic tub with a black screw lid. From the outside the cream looks green, but is not. The info on the tub is simple and easy to understand, it is not filled with words that people do not understand.

      The cream itself...
As I said, from the outside it does look like a green cream but it is infact white. It's quite a thick cream and it has a light scent of cucumbers. I find that it is not greasy at all and you only need to use a little bit to cover the face and neck.

      How to use...
After cleansing your face and getting ready to moisturise, the info on the back says to use after the Protect and Perfect Serum, but I don't. Just dot it around your face and neck and massage into skin. Do not use a lot because this can actually clog your pores and make your face worse off.

      Price and availability....
This was actually bought in a gift set for me it costs around £20 from Boots.

      My experience....
After cleaning my face I put this on and I have been using it for around 6 months now, I cannot really comment on the ageing effects but the lines in the corners of my eyes have become lighter, I may only be 21 but I smile and laugh a lot so I do get lines. I found it was a wonderful moisturiser, it made my skin feel clean and very very soft. I have always trusted the No7 range and I find they work amazingly well even though they are expensive the rest of the moisturiser will last me at least another 6 months, so this is £20 a year for something I KNOW works. I also find that when I have not used it for a day my skin is incredibly tight and nasty.

      Advantages...
      Smells great,
      Non sticky,
Does not leave my skin feeling weighed down,
Keeps my skin beautiful and soft

      Disadvantages...
The only one I can think of is the price, it's a lot of money to spend especially if you are buying the other products in the range

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Nice moisturiser

      Product info....
This moisturiser is supposed to lighten and slow hair growth down by using something called Prominimise which goes to the hair follicle to do this. As well as doing this, it says it will moisturise your skin too, but does it do all of this?

      Why I wanted this......
I wanted a product to lighten the hairs on my body because I'm not a big fan of waxing and shaving does not last long at all, with it coming to summer I am wanting to get my legs out too! I have also tried countless products and nothing works, I do know Veet works very well so I thought I could trust this product.

      Packaging...
It comes in a basic white bottle with a pink lid, I loved the lid myself, it is just a flip cap and you access the product there. The bottle is basic no fuss, but does have all the product info on.

      The liquid....
It is a lot runnier than any other moisturiser I have used, it's a basic white colour. I love the smell of the liquid, it reminds me of sunblock it is not over powering in the least, it's a very feminine scent.

      How to use....
You need to use this product every day to get the best effects.

      Price and availability.....
I bought my bottle 2 weeks ago from Morrisons for £4 but I have heard that you can get it cheaper.

      My experience....
I used this product everyday for 2 weeks I loved the way it smelt however, I did find it far too runny. I did not notice a difference at all but when I did shave after the first week my hair seemed slightly lighter but this may of been me "expecting" the product to work and seeing something that was not there. I still used it and I am still using it, it's a nice moisturiser but I certainly would not recommend it as a hair minimiser. It is far too overpriced.

      Pro's......
      Beautiful smell..
      Great moisturiser.
      Nice bottle,

      Cons......
      Too expensive,
      Does not minimise hair,

      Would I recommend...
      Not as a hair minimiser

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Great top notch conditioner

      Why I wanted this.....
If you read my review on the shamppoo you will know my mother used to buy me this but just not the conditioner. So when I bought the product again in my adult life I had to have the conditioner..

      Packaging....
This conditioner comes in a 400ml see through bottle with the name Alberto Balsam on the front, the smell and if it is shampoo or conditioner.

      The liquid itself....
It has a very strong smell of coconut and it is a very very thick conditioner. It feels silky smooth especially when you apply it to your hair.

      What it's supposed to do....
Strengthen your hair with Pro vitamin B5
      Detangle

      Availability and price....
You can find this conditioner in supermarkets and online, you can also buy it for £1, a lot of time they have deals on like 2 for £1.70.

      What I thought......
I would definitely recommend using this with the same shampoo. But after I had washed my hair I towel dried it then applied the conditioner evenly to the tips of my hair. I waited a few minutes then rinsed it all out. When I rinsed I could feel how soft my hair was already. The scent is without a doubt very long lasting. I did find that it detangled my hair where I used it too. I cannot fault the conditioner at all. I do still buy expensive brands however sometimes they can irritate my scalp but I find that with using the Alberto Balsam range that it's great for every day use.

      Advantages...
      Cheap
      Cleans hear thoroughly
      Does not irritate me.
      Smells delicious.
Easy to use, except when your running out, it can be hard to get out of the bottle.

      Disadvantages.....
      None

      Would I recommend?
      A big fat yes!

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Great shampoo that I cannot fault

      Why I wanted this product?
I wanted this product because when I was a baba, not too long ago! My mother used this to wash my hair, she used the strawberry smelling one. I always thought that the Alberto Balsam rang had gone away until I seen the coconut and lychee one!

      Packaging....
This shampoo comes in a 400ml bottle the bottle is see through and you can she the white liquid inside. The lid is a black one that you snap back to get the product out.

      What the shampoo is like?
The shampoo has a very strong smell of coconut you can hardly smell the lychee in it.
It is white colouring and i think is actually quite runny for a shampoo.
The packaging that the shampoo comes in is simple and too the point, basically you know what you are getting.

      What Alberto Balsam Say.....
      They say the shampoo will...
Make your hair shine like it has never shined before.
Your hair will be thoroughly cleansed.
The shampoo will strengthen your hair with pro vitamin B5.

      Availability and price....
I found my bottle is super drug but I'm now aware it's actually in supermarkets as well as online and you will pick up a 400ml bottle for around £1 which I think is great considering the price you pay for some shampoos.

      What I thought....
I'm a raving lunatic when it comes to the care of my hair but I found this shampoo did the job it was supposed to. Especially when using it with the conditioner. The shampoo cleaned my hair and I also found the smell stayed with me throughout the day. I'm quite surprised that for a pound you get the quality you do with it. The smell is also a great advantage I love the smell of coconut. I did find that on top of these benefits that the shampoo made a really good lather in my hair and was easily washed out.

      Advantages....
      Very cheap.
      Lovely smells.
      Cleans my hair incredibly well.
      Leaves it non greasy
      Really easy to wash out.

      Disadvantages....
      None..

      Would I recommend...
      Yes!

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Great hair dye, I wouldn't change product.

      Why i wanted this.......
I love Schwarzkopf hair dyes, I have found that they are better than all the other hair dyes out there. I find they give great hair coverage as well as lasting. I use the red colours and it varies on how I'm feeling, when they do the colours especially for dark hair, I buy them ones. I do always stick to the red colour.

      Packaging....
It comes in a box that is coloured blue and the colour of the hair dye and some models on the front who model the hair colour.
When you open the box you get a mixing bottle, the colour tube, information leaflet, gloves and conditioner.
The packaging is actually very attractive and it does stand out from every other hair dye.

      How to use....
      Just follow the instruction leaflet.
      Put your gloves on,
      Use on dry clean hair,
Mix the tube in the bottle,
      Distribute throughout your hair evenly,
Leave on for 45 mins if you are doing your full head.
If you are doing roots recommended time is 30 mins.

      What I thought....
I thought the dye was easy to mix and to use. I found that I had plenty in one box for my hair and my hair is to my waist. The smell is a bit overpowering but I don't mind. When I do apply the red, it looks orange as it is drying, but don't worry, it's definitely red! Also I didn't get a burning sensation as I do with other dyes, I found it fine to work and easy to wash out. However I was not too happy with it staining round my head even when I did moisturise. All in all I really can't complain.

      Availability....
These dyes are available from blondes to blacks, I think they give a wider colour range than most other dyes. You can also find them in chemists and health shops.

      Price....
I bought mine yesterday for £4.25 out of savers. I would never pay more than £5.00 for it though.

      Advantages....
      Cheap .
      Lasts weeks and weeks.
Even when the colour fades it still looks good.
My hair is quite soft and not dry after dying.
      It's a brand that I do trust.

      Disadvantages.....
The staining on my head! It took around 2 days for me to shift it.
The smell, I know I can't really complain as all other dyes have it but I really dislike the smell.

      Would I recommend?
      Yes

    • Ikea Lack Coffee Table / Furniture / 47 Readings / 45 Ratings

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Good table, but definitely shouldn't be used for a long time,

Ikea is well known around the world. The stuff they sell is good and cheap.

      Why I wanted this product....
It was my first flat and I didn't have a job back then and the flat was unfurnished. I was looking through various stores even second hand stores for cheap but nice looking furniture, but to no avail. I was up the Metrocentre one day and decided to pop into Ikea. Not expecting to buy anything, then I seen this!

      Packaging...
Well this table comes in a white cardboard box. It is quite thin but very long and I found it a little heavy for my arms to carry a long way.

      Variation.....
The table comes in two sizes as well as four colours....
      Small....90x55x45cm. For around £14
      Large....118x78x45cm. For around £18

      Colours.....
      Beech effect.
      Black.
      Oak effect.
      White.
I personally chose the oak effect one.

      What I thought.....
The table was very easy to put together and took me less than ten minutes, the instructions were easy to follow but it was basically made up of one long chunk of wood, 4 chunky legs, a thin long piece of wood and screws.
The table looks good, you can tell that it is not real but I do not think it looks cheap at all, at the beginning.
It stains far far to easily and if you knock it while hoovering or moving it, the laminate thing that gives it the colour of the effect starts to peel away and you start seeing the chipboard. Then it looks cheap.
I do have to give it it's dues though, it does hold a lot of things and the main table itself is quite sturdy, however I can't say this for the underneath shelf. I don't know if it is because I pack loads of things on there, but it has started to bow.

      Advantages....
Good quality if you don't use it that much.
      Easy to assemble.
      Looks good.
      Very cheap.
Does what it's supposed to....holds cups newspapers, books etc.

      Disadvantages.....
When I bought this Ikea did not deliver and I found this a huge put off as I didn't have a car and had to haul it on the bus.
The table itself chips, scratches and ruins very easily...

      Would I recommend?
      Yes

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Great eardrops

What Earex is supposed to do.....
Everyone has ear wax but sometimes it can build up too much. Earex uses ingredients that will break down the wax, making it soft and go away!

      Why I wanted this product....
I wanted this product because I do get wax build up in my ears, it is very rare but I still get it. I bought Earex because they had it on sale so I thought I would buy it.

      Packaging....
It comes in a bright yellow box with the name Earex on the box, and how to use and ingredients on the back. When you get the bottle out, it is quite small but fat bottle with a nozzle and a screw lid.

      Ingredients.....
      Camphor oil.
      Peanut oil.
      Almond oil.

      How to use....
Tilt your head so that the bad ear is facing the ceiling.
Put 2 drops in the ear.
Leave for 5 to 10 mins.
Do the other ear if needed.
Use every night for around 5 nights.
You do not have to drain the ear, just let it do it's magic!

      Availability....
You can buy this is any chemist, supermarket and online.

      Prices....
Prices range but for a 10ml bottle it's anything up to £4.50.

      My story....
As I have said, it's rare I get wax build up, but when I do I always use Earex. I find the liquid very easy and simple to use and it's non messy. I also find that this liquid has quite a pleasant smell. Earex does do the job very well as I have never tried any other product I have nothing to compare it to. But I do think it's amazing, my ear cleared up within 3 days and I had no problems afterwards.

      Advantages....
It's quite a good price, but you do have to throw it away after 8 weeks.
It works, and that is the main thing.
I find that the drops are very easy to use.

      Disadvantages....
      None.

      Would I recommend?
      Yes I would.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      It's an okay varnish

      Why I wanted this product.....
I love wearing nail varnish and since I'm trying to grow my nails, I've heard it is good to wear nail varnish to protect your nail. I love wearing bright colours that stand out. I have also loved Rimmel colours.

      Packaging....
This nail varnish comes in a glass bottle with a black screw lid with a brush attached. The glass bottle is see through so you can see the colour of the nail varnish you are buying.

      What Rimmel says...
Rimmel say that the brush is specially designed so that it's a 1 second application and will cover the whole nail in one sweep.
They also say it is mistake free varnish and dries in under 60 seconds.

      Colours...
This range of nail varnish comes in 16 different colours ranging from dark to light.

      Availability...
You can buy this product from most shops like Superdrug and also online.

      Price...
The cheapest I have seen one is on Amazon for £1.99 but they go anything up to £3.60

      What I thought...
Before I apply nail varnish I clean my nails thoroughly then apply, I did find that the brush was much bigger than my other nail varnishes, which takes a bit of getting used to but it does cover the whole nail, I wouldn't say it's a 1 second application you still have to be careful when applying. At first, the varnish does dry amazingly fast but after you have used it a few times, the liquid gets much thicker and takes ages to dry. The colours are amazing and some I have never seen before. I have found that the Rimmel nail varnishes do tend to chip a lot, especially when you work with your hands.

      Advantages....
      Amazing range of colours.
The brush is bigger so it's easier to apply.
At first it does dry fast.

      Disadvantages.....
The liquid thickens up very quick.
I do think depending on where you buy them that they can be expensive.

      Would I recommend?
      Yes.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

Fantastic deodorant quickly becoming my favourite

I love my deodorants, and next to Sure, this deodorant is one of my favourites. I'm not so much a fan of Palmolive, but when it comes to buying deodorants I am quite strict with money, I have to be hard pushed to spend more than £1.30 on a product.

        Why I wanted this...
To be honest I never actually "wanted it" as I was shopping I picked it up, because of the pink lid and threw it into the basket.

The range of Soft and Gentle....
This range is made by Palmolive and they say that while giving you 24 hour protection it will be soft and gentle to your skin. The range comes in 4 different scents....
Passionflower and black orchid.....this is the one that I have.
        Lavender and patchouli,
        Almond milk and honey suckle,
        Wild rose and vanilla.
As well as coming in four different scents, they come in 3 different forms,
Roll on...this is the one I got
        Aerosol spray
        Stick.

        Packaging.....
My roll on comes in a small little bottle with a big pink lid, when you unscrew the lid, there is the ball that offers the roll on. The main bit of the bottle is whit and has 2 labels, the one on the front telling you the brand and the scent and the one of the back tells you ingredients and how to use.

        How to use...
Turn the bottle so the ball is upside down
        Roll onto the underarm area
Wait until the liquid has dried before clothing.

        The deodorant itself....
The deodorant is a milky kind of liquid, when it has dried you do get a feint white mark on your clothing, not good.
The smell is delicious! I have never smelt a deodorant like it, it did make me quite uneasy however, this is because the rule of thumb is, the better smelling a deodorant, the worse the protection is

        What I thought....
I used this instead of my usual deodorant, and I was amazed by the smell, I have never smelt such a beautiful smelling deodorant before. It did take quite a while to dry, so I did just get dressed quickly.the smell lasted all day and I could definitely use this instead of a body spray. It has quite a powdery flower smell to it, but it is so fresh. As the day went on and I was rushing about, I started to feel myself getting hotter and hotter, but the deodorant did not move! I was very impressed by its staying power. So it smelt nice and it's protection is unbelievable, there must be a catch? No way, I cannot fault this at all. The added bonus is that after I have shaven my underarms and applied this, there is no stinging what so ever. It seems to smooth and even my underarm skin more than any other deodorant.

        Availability.....
This range of deodorant is widely available, in supermarkets and most stores.

        Price....
Usually I pay around £0.75 but I would be hesitant to pay more than £1.30 and that is for the aerosol.

        Advantages....
The top one has to be the smell, it's just delicious.
The staying power and protection. I don't have to worry about an awful smell.
The price is amazingly cheap as it lasts for ages too.

        Disadvantages....
I would say the white marks, but the advantages far outweighs the disadvantages and I can forgive the white marks.

        Would I recommend..
        Yes

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Great baby powder

Baby powder made by Johnson and Johnson. As everyone knows, Johnson are probably the best makers of baby products, ever.

        Why I wanted this....
My skin is very prone to eczema and rashes and I needed something to maintain the constant smoothness and moisture when I finally get it to that stage. I had tried other baby powders but the holes got clogged or it had a nasty smell.

        The packaging....
The powder comes in a tub that is white, that has a twisty lid. When you twist the lid it reveals holes that you get the powder out of. The tub has 2 stickers on, the one on the front says the makers name and what the product is. On the back the information is all about how to use and warnings.

        What Johnson say....
The baby powder is intended to stop chafing of the babies skin and make it soft and healthy. It is recommended for any age, old or young.

        Ingredients....
        Talc,
        Parfum

        Price....
You can buy different sizes of this product, 100ml, 200ml or 500ml, the prices for the 200ml is around £1.50. It lasts for quite a while if used sparingly.

        What I thought....
I had a bath, dried myself thoroughly. I opened the tub and rubbed it onto my skin. Firstly I noticed how lightweight the powder was and how thin it was. I also noticed the mild scent, I can't put my finger on the smell, but it is a fresh smell it's very very feint. The powder rubbed smoothly into my skin, I did notice it covered everything in talc but that was easy to clean up. I have had less and less problems with rashes on my skin as well as smelling nice and my skin being soft. I would thoroughly recommend having this product in your house as it does prevent rashes and chafing.

        Advantages...
        Lasts a very long time.
        Lovely scent.
        Lightweight powder.
        Really cheap
Is a great product for your skin.

        Disadvantages...
        None.

        Would I recommend...
        Without a doubt.

        Good face mask

Writing articles doesn't half stress the life out of me, with an upcoming wedding I'm amazingly stressed. So any little thing that offers me a chance to de stress, I'll take.

        What I wanted this...
I have always loved face masks they make me feel feminine and my face does feel nice afterwards. I wanted this one as I seen it had a warming effect and I liked that.

What it is supposed to so....
The face mask is intended to de stress you by opening pores and allowing dirt and impurities to get drawn out. It is supposed to leave you with a nice clean smooth face and clean pores.

        Packaging...
The product comes in a little sachet that you have to rip the top off. It's basically a pink and red packet that has the face of a woman on the front, what the product does and offers. On the back are instructions on how to use and ingredients.

        Ingredients...
        Evening primrose
        Volcanic clay
        Jasmine
        Ginseng

        How to use....
        Cleanse your face well.
        Keep your face wet
Apply the product with your finger tips evenly
Avoid the eye and the lip area
Leave for 5 mins, enjoying the de stressing properties
        Rinse well and pat dry

Do not expect the face mask to harden, that's not it's purpose

        Availability....
I have only ever found this product in supermarkets and online..

        Price...
They are around £1 each but very often they have offers on such as 3 for 2.

        My experience....
I cleaned my face and applied the product, as soon as I put my fingers on it, I felt it warming straight away, the next thing I noticed was the smell, it's a beautiful sweet smell, I can't really put my finger on what it smells like but it's very nice. As I applied it I felt it warming on my face I also loved the colour of it, it's like a pink colour so it is easy to see where you need to put it. When I finished applying it I relaxed, unfortunately it did not de stress me as soon as I stopped rubbing it into my skin the warming feeling went. So I wasn't too happy about that. Another thing I noticed was that, it didn't really make my skin any clearer, my face was just the same.

        Advantages...
        The price is good.
The packet lasts me for about 2/3 goes.
I love the smell and the look of the product.
The warming sensation is good until it wears off.
It's not really the face mask that de stresses you, it's taking 5 minutes out of your day to relax.
Suitable for vegans, and gluten free.

        Disadvantages....
It does not warm all the time.
It does not really de stress you.

        Would I recommend....
        Oh yeah,

          Great healthy drink

I know I should eat and drink healthier, but I just don't. Around one day a month i get a bit of a health kick and drink some water. So one day I walks in the shop and bought this instead of a plain bottle of water.

          Why I wanted this....
As I said I go on a health kick. Usually I go into the shop and buy a packet of gum and a bottle of water. I usually buy plain water, non flavoured because I find that some flavoured waters are not nice and leave me with a nasty after taste.

          Volvic.....
It is still natural mineral water that has been filtered through layers of volcanic rock. The flavoured ones, are flavoured.

          Packaging...
The Water comes in a see through plastic bottle with a red lid and a label, on the label it says Volvic and information about the water.

          The water.....
          The flavoured water is clear.
As soon as you unscrew the lid you can smell strawberries it's a very strong smell.
It tastes beautiful, it actually tastes like a strawberry juice, but it's not!

          Ingredients....
          Volvic natural mineral water 94.8%
          Sugar 4.8%
          Citric acid
          Natural flavouring
          Flavouring
          Potassium benzoate

          Health information.....
          Per 100ml
          Cal 2
          Fat 0
          Sat fat 0
          Sugar trace
          Salt 0

          What I thought....
I'm very very impressed with this flavoured water, I believe Volvic has changed the taste of flavoured water. It does not taste cheap in anyway. Like I said its just like drinking juice, but water. It makes it much more enjoyable when you know it's water that your drinking. I never thought drinking water could be this nice at all. I would certainly recommend this especially to children. I'm a big coca cola freak but I actually prefer drinking this to pop.

          Availability...
I think you can buy this is almost any shop supermarket. Also I believe that you can buy this online.

          Price....
Depending on what size bottle you get, 1.5 litre or 50cl. If you get the little bottle they are around £1.00 and the bigger bottles around £1.50. Very often supermarkets have deals on.

          Advantages....
          Beautiful tasting water drink.
          Very healthy.

          Disadvantages...
When you screw the cap off, the hole what you drink out of it a little too big.
I think £1 for some flavoured water is a bit pricey.

          Would I recommend.
          Yes!

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

Great mouthwash but far too expensive

I have only recently started getting mouthwash, this is because I went to the dentist, he told me to stop smoking and stop drinking black tea. I didn't. I just look after my teeth much more, brush more floss more, use mouthwash.

          Why I wanted this product....
As I said previously I smoke and drink black tea, nice for me, bad for my teeth. In the past I used to mix my toothpaste with bi carb. I realised this was baaaaad. So my teeth are stained so I bought this. I wanted my teeth clean and a bit brighter. Also the label saying it gives 12 hour protection enticed me a little.

What it is supposed to do....
It is supposed to give you protection for up to 12 hours,
Whiten your teeth gradually if used twice daily.
It contains fluroide to help cavity protection,
          Forms a protective shield

          Packaging....
I comes in a pearly white bottle with 2 labels, one on the front, one on the back. The one on the front says Colgate, what the product is and what the product offers. On the back, the label tells you how to use and so on.
The lid is a screw cap that also when taken off acts as a measure to take the mouthwash.

          The liquid itself....
The liquid a light coloured blue, also it is thicker than water.
It smells very minty and sweet.
When you put it in your mouth it's very minty and it does give a burning sensation.

          How to use....
          Use after brushing
Take the cap off and fill it up to the line which is 20 ml
          Rinse mouth for 30 seconds
          Spit out
          Dont swallow!!!

          Availability...
You can buy this in chemists, supermarkets and online.

          Price..
For a 500ml bottle it's around £3.20 but that's the cheapest I have seen it.

          What I thought.....
After brushing I did as the instructions told me. I did find it hard to keep in my mouth for 30 seconds because of the burning sensation especially where my lips and gums meet. Although it wasn't as harsh as some other mouthwashes I had tried after. After spitting it out, I did feel that my mouth was much much more cleaner. It leaves a very minty aftertaste Especially when I smoked I noticed smoking tasted a lot sweeter. I did feel my mouth was a lot fresher and my teeth felt a lot smoother. I would definitely tell people that it's a good mouthwash. I did use it twice a day and I noticed a subtle change in the colour of my teeth however, it was ot spectacular.

          Advantages...
It makes your mouth feel 100% fresher.
It doesn't burn half as much as others
          It's a lovely aftertaste

          Disadvantages...
The price it's a bit extortionate

          Would I recommend...
          Not too sure

          Disadvantages

          Great hairspray

I LOVE styling my hair, but working throughout the day, playing with kids and messing about doesn't half mess my hair up. Especially when me and my fiancé go out I like to do myself up but nothing ever seems to hold my hair right.

          Why I wanted this....
I have been through the cheap and the expensive sprays and I have found nothing, I always remember my nana using Bristows to keep her rollers in! My nana was old enough to know what worked for her, so I thought I would try it, and I wanted it too because the smell reminds me of my nana.

          What Bristows say...
They say that this hairspray will keep your hair for hours.
          No sticky residue.
          Easily brushed out.
          Beautiful hold.

          Packaging...
The spray comes in a pink/red tin. With a plastic cap which you take off and press the button. The tin comes with the Bristows name on and what type of hairspray it is, e.g. extra firm hold.

          How to use...
Style your hair as you would.
Hold can 20cm away from hair.
          Spray lightly.

          Availability...
You can buy this product in supermarkets, chemists and online.

          Price...
For a 300ml tin, you can buy it for around £1.00 to £1.50.
          What I thought....
I did my hair all beautifully, didnt waste much time as I thought it was just going to fall out anyway. Did as the directions said. The button was easy to use and I found the tin did not slip out of my hands. Firstly I noticed the smell, as all hairsprays, you get that salon smell but I found the smell quite pleasant, as far as hairspray smells go, obviously it reminded me of my nana so I loved it! The product made my hair shiny and not dull, but what I really wanted was the hold. Me and my fiancé went out for a meal and it held all night, when I got back it was still looking good. I am very impressed with this hairspray, it hold like it should, however, it is easy to brush out but your better off washing your hair, it does feel dry the day after, but I can't fault it on the hold. Another thing I noticed was that the smell does not smell like a cheap hairspray and you can smell it all day. If you are going to be able to smell your hairspray all day, you don't want it to smell cheap.

          Advantages...
          Smells good, no headaches.
Great hold, the best I have had from a hairspray.
          Holds for hours.
          Not a cheap smelling spray.
          Great price

          Disadvantages....
After a day it does make my hair feel dry

          Would I recommend?
          Oh yes
