************ A few words about "TYPO CORNER" ***************
I have recently come across this phenomenon called 'Typo Corner' on Dooyoo. It usually manifests itself as a comment left on a review by other DooYoo writers, letting the author of the review know they have made a spelling mistake.
While the intentions of the comment are probably well meant, the comment left is there for good, and is uneditable.
This means Joe Public who is not a DooYoo writer sees the comment and it might leave a bad impression of DooYoo. Arguably, a spelling mistake could also leave bad impression on a lay-reader of the site, however a spelling mistake within a review is editable, the 'heads up' to the author is not.
With that in mind, it might be best to send the author a Private Message, rather than draw the public's attention to typo.
Not everyone (myself included) has comment notification switched on. On the other side of the coin, not everyone accepts Private Messages. Either way shouting out loud to the reading public that the author (your colleague) made a spelling mistake looks just as unprofessional (if not more) than the typo.

I rate ALL reviews I read.
I DON'T revenge rate, but I DO leave honest ratings. Don't take it to heart if you get a less than Very Useful. Useful is still a good rating. If you get a Somewhat Useful or a Not Useful, don't take it to heart and revenge rate, put your energy into improving, you have more to gain that way.
I do find other peoples reviews genuinely helpful, so keep them coming.
