Gaspari has been round for a long time and is owned by the bodybuilder Rich Gaspari, they sell a wide range of different products which are very useful for everyone whether you are concentrating on fitness or want to bodybuild. This Protein from Gaspari is effectively a Whey Concentrate which is not the highest of quality but yet is very affordable and is a good product.
I normally pay around £34 for a tub of this which lasts me around 3weeks ( Consuming around 5scoops a day ). This can vary depending on how much protein you need and your specific requirements. I have not found this product cheaper anywhere else but if anyone has then by all means let me know and I will edit it. Compared to other similar products on the market £34 is pretty cheap.
Flavours and Taste
Chocolate, Cookie and Cream, Banana and Strawberry are the flavours I have tried of this product. There is a few more available but I wanted to keep it safe and stick to the flavours I know. My personal favourite is the chocolate because it has a thick texture to it and is also delicious. Barring Syntha 6 from BSN this is a very tasteful protein.
Calories From Fat 27
Total Fat 3g
Saturated Fat 0.5g
Trans Fat 0g
Total Carbohydrate 5g
As you can see from the above nutritional facts this product is also a very good all round and doesn't offer a high amount of fat or carbs. I have seen some protein supplements offer 300cals and 4g saturated fat with 30carbs. If you just want a solid protein product then make sure the Sat Fat is low and the Carbs are also low. If not you will end up putting on weight in the places you really dont want.
Overall this is a very good product from Gaspari which I would highly recommend to anyone who has taken protein before. For the price of £34 you are not getting an overpriced product and instead you are getting a product which is cheap and effective. If you add this to an already solid diet you are on to a good thing without a doubt.
Like every product from Apple when they release something it is always eagerly awaited by everyone. This was no different. Apple have now got to grips with releasing phones and I have to say they are getting better and better with each one they release.
Many people will say ' Apple products are overpriced for what they offer ' I am one of those people who till disagree with that. On PAYG this set me back £549 I believe it was which even though does seem a bit steep it was still just over £70 mroe than my Dell Streak. When you look at it like that I wouldn't class that as such an insane price. You can obviously get it on a contract but I do think a contract is a stupid investment for an Iphone because you will be tied down to a contract when you know the new one is coming out in less than 12months time.
This is what I loved about the IPhone, it has that sort of feel in your hand which is very nice and just rests in the palm of your hand. Unlike the 3GS which I found a bit clunky this one was very well built and shaped. You will also find that by looking and feeling the phone that the quality of materials is second to none. Unlike many other phone manufacturers which tend to use plastic all over the place Apple don't do that and that is maybe why the price is a bit more than other phones.
When using the phone it is exactly what you would expect and I can't find a difference to the Iphone 4 and the 3GS. The phone itself is very responsive and if you are swiping across screens you will be able to do that with total ease. If you find yourself using WI-FI quite a bit however this will without take away a considerable amount of battery life as I can stand by on that. You can watch things like movies on this but with the screen only being 3.5 inch I prefer not to with me having a Streak.
Overall even though the product from Apple is definatley a step up from the previous ones they released I still think without a doubt it is a very high class phone. Would I consider it the best phone out on the market? im afraid to say that honour goes to the Streak. Still never the less it is a good phone and if you don't like the big screen of the Streak then this is something which you will definatley like.
When you are constantly travelling places on trains like I do I found that packing a Laptop became far to much of a hassle. On the other hand I found that using a smartphone did not have what I needed it for. This product was made to fit that gap and when it first came on the market a few years ago I was very much looking forward to getting my hands on it.
The price at retail was around £650 if I remember rightly, I actually paid around the £400 mark which I think is much more reasonable considering what it does. Even though this may seem a bit pricey when you consider what the device actually does it is great value for money.
What impressed me about this was the fact that with a 5" screen you also get a fully workable keyboard. You can use programs like Excel, Powerpoint and Word. Other things you get with this device are things such as a 3.15mp Camera which is more than adequate for a device of this size. You are also able to use this as a phone also which I think is brilliant and so conveniant.
The battery life is something which I was going to pay attention to because I did not want something which would last a few hours. This however has a standby time of over 300hours. I find that when I am using it unlike smartphones and laptops which tend to reduce in power pretty quickly this keeps it going.
Don't get me wrong I would rather have a bigger keyboard on the device which would make it much easier to use. That is however if I had to be critical about something, when you consider the size of the device it is just so handy and easy to use which is brilliant.
Overall this product may not of gained much popularity amongst people, the reason for this is I think this device does not appeal to the masses and instead appeals to that selected few who would need a device like this. If you are sick of carrying a Laptop around and want something attractive and highly professional then I would have to recommend this. Even though the initial price may seem a bit pricey when you consider it is not a smartphone and not a laptop but instead in the middle it is good value for money.
Freebie Jeebies is one of many sites which claim to offer free goods for simply referring people to their site. I like the majority of people who read this happened to be very suspicious by this because I thought how can I get a free product for not doing anything at all. I did not just jump in to this site and instead I researched it a bit and tried to find out whether or not it really was something worth doing.
A similar company was actually on BBC and it was claimed to be 100% legit because why you sign up for an offer the site giving you the free goods then get paid for that. When you take this into account and consider that some products need 50-60 referrals you can see that they must be getting a bit of money from it. When I found FreebieJeebies I noticed they had very good offers which cost you literally £5 to sign upto which means that is your offer out of the way.
Signing up and Product
The whole signing up procedure is very straight forward and taken me about 5minutes in all, you are asked to choose the product you want and I decided to go with an Ipod Shuffle at the time which was only 3 referrals if I remember correctly. I wanted to keep it simple instead of signing up for something which was 20 or more.
I was lucky to know people who would do this, Don't get me wrong I asked far more than 3 people. Far to many people did not want to even consider it which I thought was fair enough. Once I finally got my green lights which mean the people you referred have completed an offer your product will be shipped out.
After I got the green lights I still didn't believe for a second that I would actually get the Shuffle but I was still optimistic. 12days later it arrived on my doorstep in a brown box with just an invoice from Apple which said it was bought by a person who I didn't have a clue about. This for me was very suprising and rewarding because I never thought it would actually work. I actually never spent anything at all in the whole process. Even though I signed up for an offer with Coral which meant I had to deposit £5 their is ways around that to make sure you don't lose that money at all.
I won't post my referral link on the review because this isn't the place. If you would like me to refer you I would love to do that and because I am that confident with the whole process now I would even pay because I know what I am getting. If you would like to be referred please just PM me.
Thanks, I hope you liked the review.
When I go on holiday I always used to forget that the plugs they have their ar edifferent to the ones we have here. This results in me havin to do without that certain thing for a week or two whether that is a razor or a mobile phone charger. When I seen this in the airport I had to purchase it because I knew it would make things so much easier when I go on holiday. I wouldn't have to do without things I use, since I purchased this it has went on holiday with me all the time.
The price for this I thought was very good at under £1, I was actually expecting to pay around £3 for this so when I found out the actual price I was very pleased. You can obviously get different variations but they all do the same thing so I was very happy with this purchase.
The product itself is a simple 2 pin plug which will fit into sockets in America and other places. It has three holes at the front though so you can put your UK based plugs into the holes then plug it into the wall. It is all very simple to do but is such a brilliant item. You also don't need to put any force to get it in this plug and instead your 3 pin plug will just gently slide into the travel adapter.
Overall I do believe this product is a must for people who had been in the same situation as I was. By purchasing this product it really has made things so much easier for me. I put it in my carrying case and when I am at my destination I can now use my razor and other products without getting frustrated at not having the correct plug. If I left for holiday now without this I would be devastated as the product is so useful for me.
I am one of them people who likes to make sure his keyboard is clean at all times. I tend to eat things whilst I am on my computer or laptop and I never used to bother cleaning it. I have since used a few similar products like this one because I purchased a more expensive laptop and I wanted to make sure that it was kept in a good condition. Cyber Clean was cheap and I had heard that it was a very good product so I thought I would give it a try.
The price for this product was £3 when I purchased it and even though you may think it is only a bit of goo the product is actually a good one. I looked round to see if the price would have changed much but as expected it has stayed around the same. Even still I think the price is not much at all when taking into account it makes the appearance of your keyboard so much better.
The product comes in a simple plastic tub which is very basic but you don't need anything fancy at all really with this product. It is very simple to just put the goo back in the tub when you are finished using it so that is a good thing. I don't think they would of needed to give the product better packaging because if they did they would then no doubt raise the price and put people off the product. It says you can use it on other devices however I have not tried them on anything other than a keyboard so I am afraid I can't comment on that.
The product itself I think is a very good one, Even though it takes you a while to realise that you are actually using a piece of goo to clean your keyboard you notice how good it is. When you use a keyboard you tend to get little marks on the buttons where they are pressed when having stuff on your fingers. When I was using this it removed all of them little marks that used to be their. Even though it feels horrible and has a certain smell to it you have to put that to one side and remember you are rating it based on it's performance and I can not fault it on that at all.
Overall I think that this product is a very good one which keeps your keyboard in a good condition. At the price it is I think people will feel that they want to give it a try to see how good it actually is. I do rate this product pretty highly and if you are someone who is a bit clumsy then this will fill the void that you left.
Everyone knows that if you need batteries and you don't have any it can be very frustrating. Even though Duracell batteries are the best brand of batteries on the market it doesn't stop me leaving them that extra bit longer before buying more and then a couple of days later they run out and I am in trouble. This battery charger is an excellent way to prevent any problems and with it also having very fast charging times you can't go wrong with them.
The price of this at retail is over £25 which I thought was pricey for anyone who pays it. I was fortunate enough to get it for much less which I didn't mind payin at all. I think I ended up paying around £14.99 for it which I knew I would get my use out of it in the long run. If you can get it at the same price I did then I would suggest going out to buy it because it will save you so much time.
In the box the charging unit actually comes in two seperate parts which I have to admit was a bit confusing at first. I quickly realised however what I needed to do then it was fine. You simply click the charging unit on top of the ac adapter and it will then charge itself up. You also get 4 AA batteries with this charger which I thought was a nice little extra to have.
The quality of the product if I am being honest could be far better than what it actually is. I found that it did't feel that secure when I was holding it and with it being very light I would assume if it fell then it may just break. Obviously if you are very careful then you could cope with this but it is so easy to just knock it off the unit or something similar.
One thing I was impressed with was the fact that it doesn't just charge AA batteries and it also charges AAA batteries which I think is a very useful addition to the charging unit. It is still very small and nifty and I did actually expect it to be bigger like a few of similar products. When you put your batteries in the charger the lights will go red which mean they are simply charging, when they are finished the light will go out which means it has finished, so it is all very simple to follow.
Overall I think that this product is a very useful one which can make things so much easier for people in the long run. Instead of having to buy constant packs of batteries you can just charge the ones which have ran out. As I said above if you can get this for a good enough price then it is a must because it saves you so much money and it only takes one hour to charge which is brilliant.
Maximuscle is a leading UK supplement company which provides customers which many different supplements depending on their goal. Progain from Maximuscle is a weight gainer which will provide the user with enough calories to put the weight they want on. With the added amount of calories this will add a bit of fat on most likely but you have to remember you can't do two things at the same time.
On the actual Maximuscle website you will be paying £38.99 for a tub of this or they have discounts depending on the amount you actually buy. When I purchase this I pay far less than the price from Maximuscle because I wouldn't pay for it otherwise. If you can get it for less than £32 then I would class that as a good enough price.
For one serving which is two scoops of the product you will be getting 453 calories which is nearly a fifth of the RDA for a man. When considering this is just from a weight gainer you should be able to get the required amount from other sources aswell. It also comes with 32grams of protein again which is a good enough amount. The amount of carbs you get in this are 68grams and even though you will hear people saying carbs are bad it totally depends on the stage your at. The amount of fat is at 10grams a serving which to be honest is pretty much expected.
You can get numerous different flavours of progain which is always a good thing. The flavours you can get are Banana, Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla. I would personally recommend the Vanilla with this actual product, I would normally go for chocolate with any type of protein supplement but the chocolate one isn't that nice at all in my opinion. The vanilla is very simple and that is what I like about it. The only one I haven't tried is Strawberry so I can't give my opinion on that one sorry.
I have a few problems with the Maximuscle brand as a whole if I am being honest. I find that because they are always advertising their products people think they are the best brand on the market. You will find so many more brand out their which you may find work better for you as a whole.
Overall if you are a person who finds it quite hard to put some weight on then I would recommend a weight gainer. I am not so sure I would recommend this over things such as Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass or BSN True Mass but it depends on what you want. If you are in a store and like the look of this product then go ahead and try it otherwise have a look on websites to see if you can find other similar products with better contents and a better price.
Hope this is helpful
Duracell batteries have for aslong as I can remember being the best batteries you can possibly buy on the market. Even though they do come with a more expensive price tag than other batteries you know that these will also last much longer than any other battery you can buy. I have purchased Duracell batteries for some time but you can tend to get them cheaper if you get them in bulk.
Normally for a pack of 4 Duracell batteries you would be expecting to pay around £4. You can now however get them for a little over £2 which is still a bit expensive but is far better than what it previously was. You could buy other batteries for much less or you could pay more and guarantee that you are getting the best batteries on the market.
With Duracell batteries being so popular you can actually buy them in different quantities. You can get packs of 2, 4, 8, 12 and 24. The bigger quantities are recommended for times like Christmas because that is when the majority of things are bought which are powered by batteries. These are offered at a much better value than if you bought them in sets of 2 or 4 so they are popular.
If I place these batteries in remotes, mouses or toys they tend to last a very long time. Obviously with stuff like toys they tend to get left on all the time so that will end up wasting the battery. I mostly put these in my computer mouse because I always switch it off whenever I am finished with it.
As stated these are without doubt the best batteries on the market today. Even though you can purchase some like Kodak they still do not offer the reputation that comes with Duracell. If you have the choice you will obviously go with Duracell all the time just because you know what reputation they have.
If you are willing to pay the price that Duracell batteries are available for then I obviously recommend it. Even though I do think you can get good batteries for a fraction of the price that doesn't hide the fact that these are the best on the market if you want to spend the price. I would recommend that you buy them in bulk so you can save money on them.
Whenever I want batteries for putting in my remotes at home I may be short by one or just not have any at all. I normally use Duracell batteries however I seen these in Toysrus for a good price which was suprising so I decided to buy a few packs of these. I like the brand Kodak anyway so I found making the purchase pretty straight forward. With everything pretty much taking batteries these days having a few packs spare is always a good thing.
The price I paid for 4 batteries were just over £1 which I thought were a very good price if they would last long enough. You can go and pay £2+ for a pack of Duracells if you wish but as far as I am concerned these batteries were a very good price for a good performance battery. These Kodak batteries are also available in bigger quantities if you need more than 4.
As I said with these being £1 the only thing I was a little worried about was whether or not they would last long enough. I had to compare them with duracell batteries so they can't face any stiffer competition than that really. I put two in my sky remote and I was very pleased with how long they actually lasted. I expected them to last a decent while but they just kept on going and going which I was astonished by.
As stated I can only really compared these to Duracell batteries but unless you take notice I don't think you will notice the big difference. These Kodak batteries are not like the batteries were you get 20 for a pound and last a couple of days. These do exactly what you want them to do for a good price.
Overall for little over a £1 you are getting a very good battery which really will last a while. I am not saying that they will last longer than Duracell batteries because they probably won't but for half the price they are brilliant. If you have quite a few toys and games then I would recommend these because they work out very good value for money in the long run.
Logitech have for a while been a very reputable company and with me having a few of their products when I was in the market for a new keyboard these were the company that I looked for. By offering customers a wireless keyboard they are making things so much easier which is what I wanted. After having a look at what it offered I decided to make the purchase as the price was pretty good aswell.
This Logitech wireless keyboard is available for less than £25 which I think is a very good price. When taking into account that this is a wireless keyboard coming from a very reputable brand it is good value for money in my opinion. Similar keyboards on the market are much more than this and are really no better.
In the box you get all of the usual things such as a manual to inform you of anything you may be a bit unsure about. You also get batteries for both the keyboard and the mouse. You also get the USB wireless receiver and nothing is difficult to set up so you should be fine.
The Keyboard and Mouse
The main thing about the keyboard is that it is wireless but by just looking at it you will not find it to different to pretty much any other one on the market. At the back of the keyboard you will also notice a power button which is a good thing to use if you are wanting to save on battery life. I do forget to switch it off and the keyboard has still been running for over a few months. The mouse is pretty simple and it is pretty much exactly like what you would expect it to be like. The accuracy on the mouse is very good and even though I have had better accuracy on mouses this one is still very good. I also found that the mouse is very comfortable in my palm when I am using it which is a nice feeling.
Overall I believe that if you purhase this you are getting a very good product for a good price. What this keyboard isn't is full of buttons which you will never use, instead it does all the simple things very well which is what I was pleased with. If you are looking for a keyboard with an attractive price tag then I don't think you would go far wrong with this one as I have been very pleased with it.
Maximuscle is a UK based nutritional sports brand which provides supplements to customers. They have built a good reputation amongst people in the UK but is still unheard of worldwide. When you purchase things from Maximuscle you are guaranteed to get a product which is of a high quality. Maximuscle Promax is a protein supplement which is needed for anyone wanting to maintain a high protein diet.
For a 908g tub you will be looking at paying around £28 depending on the place you purchase it from. With this providing the user with 30 servings this works out just a little less than £1 a serving which is pretty similar to similar protein brands these days.
In one 30g serving you will get 120calories with 23grams of protein, 2grams of fat and 2grams of carbs. This is a pretty good formula which will provide the user with good quality protein without the added amoutn of carbs and fats which a few protein products add these days. It is also virtually lactose free which is a good thing if you suffer from IBS.
The different flavours for Promax are Banana, Orange, Strawberry, Chocolate, Natural and Vanilla. I would say with the majority of protein products the Chocolate flavour is the best as it has much better flavouring than the rest of the available flavours.
This product is similar to every other protein product on the market in the sense that it is only useful if your diet is in check already. If you are expecting to take this and see instant results then you are way off the mark. If you mix this with a good solid diet and a good training regime you will see results in time.
Overall this product form Maximuscle is a solid one, I was happy with the flavours they offer and unlike quite a few of other protein products this one is nice and smooth instead of the cheaper thick ones. It is not the cheapest and if you take 2-3 servings a day which is recommended this will last you just over a week. Based on this I think you can find far better products than this one as I find they are taking advantage of the fact they are the leading UK manufacturer.
Discount Supplements is an online store which specialises in selling supplements. The first time I cam across this company when I was looking for a cheaper alternative for buying supplements at a price better than what I was previously getting. I decided to give this company a go and I had used it for around 8months before stopping the past few months due to me finding them cheaper elsewhere.
Range of products and Prices
Discount Supplements sell a wide range of products which will cater for everyones needs. You can purchase sports supplements, health supplements and training gear. I stuck to the sport supplements and the price they were offered at were very good at the time. Obviously now I have found a much better site but at the time I was very happy to buy off this site because the prices they offered were far cheaper than any other site I have come across.
The customer service from this company is also something which is of the highest standard. Normally if I email them I will get a response back very sharpish which is good if you are wanting to make an order as soon as possible. They are also on hand to give you any type of assistance you need if you are unsure about anything.
They offer free delivery which will guarantee your order being delivered within 48hours. This is a very good idea because what most stores do is offer cheap prices but bump up the postage which makes prices not that cheap after all. I have ordered from them pretty regularly and they had always arrived on time and they even give you free gifts depending on how much you spend.
Overall I think that when I used Discount Supplement it was defintitely the leading supplement store online. The prices they offered combined with a very good shipping service was a very good thing. One thing did annoy me was the fact that they didn't offer a reward system which the new store I have found now does. This could be a good idea for them because it will reward the customers who want to spend more online.
BSN in my opinion is one of the top nutritional manufacturers because of the products and reputation it has built up. When they release products no matter what it is you will find that everyone who knows their stuff regarding supplements will be very intrigued as to what it is like. Lean Dessert was no different so I tried it to see if it was going to be another good product from BSN.
The price of this supplement varies depending on the place you purchase it. For a 1.39lb tub which provides you with around 18servings you will be looking at paying between £15 and £22. I have seen it more than this but you can ship things from America which will give you a much cheaper price aslong as you add a few other products due to shipping. I would still say however that this price is a bit expensive but no BSN product on the market is cheap so I didn't expect this to be either.
With every scoop of this you will get 21g of Protein with 150calories but only 30 of these calories coming from fat. You will also get 8carbs which is reasonably low. Also with 2g of Sugar they are making sure that they keep the rubbish to a bare minimum. Obviously only you know what your requirements are so you will have to determine how many scoops of this you will have a day. Overall though the nutritional facts look pretty solid which is expected.
Flavours and Taste
The place I purchase it from I can get it in a few different flavours, Banana, Chocolate and Vanilla are the flavours I can choose from and this is a pretty good range really. Based on my personal preference I would go with chocolate as it has a nice thick taste to it which you don't get from the other two. Vanilla for me is far to bland and Banana gets very sickly after a while.
Value for money
When you consider how much you pay for the amount of servings you get in the tub the value for money isn't the best. Taking this into account however you are getting a very good product which makes sure it keeps things like sugar to a minimum. If you look at cheaper alternatives you will find that it is full of sugar and the carb contents will be through the roof. Even though carbs can be good depending on your goal you obviously don't want them if you are considering this product.
Overall I think this protein product from BSN is a very good one. I personally prefer their Syntha 6 as even though it has more calories that isn't actually a bad thing. If you are just looking for something light which will keep up your protein content then go for this because it is a very good product.
I think in your kitchen it is always good to have a very well equipped food processor which is of very good quality. With quite a few food processors on the market today you will always have quite a decision on your hands so it is important you pick well and not just pick the cheapest. The Magimix 4200xl instantly caught my eye when I was looking for a food processor and even though the price tag is quite hefty I knew it would be worth the money in the long run.
The price for this food processor is around the £220 figure which I know is a big price tag. You have to rememeber though that if you use it even a couple of times a week you will end up getting good value for money. For that price you would also expect it to do everything plus more of what you need it to do and it does. You just need to read reviews to see how highly this is rated from customers.
Functions and Size
With the price tag being high you may expect this to be very difficult to use but it is quite the opposite actually. You simply get 3 different functions which are On, Off and Pulse. This I thought was a very good thing because I didn't really want one that would be over technical and instead would just be very good at what it is needed for. The size of this food processor is also pretty big and heavy. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this if you don't have space to leave it out. The last thing you want is to be constantly putting it in and out everytime you want to use it.
Quality and Cleaning
The quality of this was brilliant and I was very happy with it. No matter what you put in it whether it is small or big you will get very good results from it. You will need to make sure however that you just put in what you need because I find that if you put to much of something in the processor will cause a mess and you will be left with a messy kitchen. The cleaning of this is also very easy and wouldn't cause any problems for anyone. I never had to deal with anything getting stuck in the blades so that was a positive for me.
Unlike quite a few other food processors this one seems to be very quiet when being used. I have found that I could easily hold a conversation whilst it was on without getting frustrated or raising my voice because the processor was loud.
Overall I think that this food processor is one of the best on the market today. Don't get me wrong for the price you would expect everything plus more and this is exactly what this food processor offers. If you would be someone who would use this a couple of times a week then I would highly recommend it to you however if you wouldn't use it that much I think the price is a bit to much to pay.
