I bought these headphones from HMV for around £7 this did include free insurance for a 1yr which I thought was brilliant.
These headphones are brilliant. They fit perfectly in my ear and dont fall out whilst Im walking they do if I run for the bus which is very rare lol
I am also one of those people who likes to play my music slightly louder than I should. And usually find I with other headphones you get those vibrating crackly noises if your music is too loud. However with these you dont. They are fantastic.
I have also had mine for about 8mths and touch wood I havent had any loose wires in either side, which I tend to get because I have the bad habit of wrapping them around my mp4 player.
I would recommend these to any one and if they eventually break I will be replacing them with another pair.
I wasnt a first a fan of Ugg. I thought they were overpirced boots. And used to purchase a Ugg style boot from primark for about a fiver. Then last christmas I was bought a pair of the bailey button one and thought well I will give them a try but didnt think they would be any different from the other versions I had.
How wrong was I? Very. They are the best boots I have ever owed. I love winter so I can wear them and the only reason I dont wear them in the summer is cause I love getting my toes out in sandles. However in the winter these are the best boots ever. I wear them with everything, skinny jeans, leggings, skirts. I dont think I have found an outfit that they dont go with.
They are so comfy its like walking on a cloud. They also keep my feet toasty warm. I wear just a normal pair of socks, were in other cheaper versions I had to wear a pair of thick winter socks. These Ugg boots also kept my feet dry.
The only downside I have is the price tag attached to them. I was lucky enough to recieve them as a gift but I would not go out and pay £200 on a pair of boots no matter how nice they are.
I bought this breadmaker for about £70, I previously had a Panasonic bread maker that was fabulous, I wanted to upgrade to a newer model. I tried a few stores to get a replacement ideally a Panasonic but none left in store. I wanted one that day so ended up buying this Kenwood one.
Well I wish I hadnt bothered. The machine is so loud, I was thought it was broken, I contacted kenwood and was told that the machine has a motor and this was the noise. I explained you should not have to raise your voice to be heard when it is kneading the dough. You could not use the timer as the noise would irritate at night. Also unlike the Panasonic and photo of cooked loafs it does not rise to a nice oval shape, it is quite messy and mis shapen, it rise like the shaped kneaded.
Also on the dough cycle the dough was slightly sticky something I hadnt experienced before.
The only plus about this is the recipe book that came with it was pretty handy and gave me a few ideas
I bought this phone from carphone warehouse for about £50 on pay as you go.
What attracted me to this phone was the qwerty keyboard. I love to text and found this very easy to use. Another reason I bought it was because I love blackberry phones but when my previous phone broke I couldnt afford to buy one so bought this cheaper copy.
The camera on this phone is pretty good. And I loved the radio on it, unlike my blackberry curve which doesnt have one. It also comes with a changeable back. the one that I bought came with two extra covers which were black and yellow and white. All three had different funky patterns however if you want to be taken serious it does come with a plain black one.
The phone comes with headphones and a usb cable, however when I was unable to transfer photos or music from or to my pc. I had to remove the memory card and transfer them that way. Also the memory on the phone is self is pretty low.
However the features on the phone is self were great, like the texting and phone book are straight forward
I recently bought the babyliss wand as i wanted to curl my hair and was told a wand would be the easiest way as I have very thick hair.
I bought my babyliss wand for about £19 from a local supermarket. The wand itself s amazing. it has a little digital panel that lets you control the heat settings and a long cable so you are never restricted to been that close to a plug. It also comes with a heat protection glove, which I found not very protective. I just simply held a little bit of the hair at the end and was fine.
It heats up very quickly but the only downside I have is that because my hair is in a shortish bob it was very hard to wrap my hair around and for it to stay curly this may just because my hair is short and quiet thick cause when I used the wand on my hair extension (advise that you turn it down to around 160-180) it worked perfectly and the curls last me all night without me having to add any extra hair products.
I will be keeping these as my hair is growing and I will continue to use them on my extensions
When the twilight books first came out I have to admit i wasnt that into them. I thought they were little teenie boppers.
However once the 2nd films had come out I gave watched them and was hooked.
Now I am one of these people who needs to read the book aswell or ideally before.
When I first read the book I instantly feel in love with them.
It is a typical boy meets girl, falls in love then she finds out hes a vampire and nearly gets killed. The story is beautiful however the writing of the book is clearly aimed at a younger audience. But if you have watched the films then you will enjoy the book more as the characters of Edward and Bella are show a lot more. Like for example I feel Edward is more sarcastic in the books and quiet funny. And Bella isnt as moody.
I love my blackberry and wouldnt choose another make of phone. However it does have its downsides
Let start with the pros
Its a fab phone. the qwerty keyboard is great especially if like me you like to text alot. However the wrong keys do sometimes get caught when I have false nails on.
Another pro is that you can have a number of emaill boxes on your phone at the same time, which is great for me as I have two work emails and two personal ones so I can recieve emails on all of these whilst one the go.
BBM is also great. it allows you to send pictures and audio and pretty much anything on your phone to anyone else you know that has a blackberry, but dont worry if your friends dont have blackberrys. If they have a smart phone you can simply download an app called pingchat which is a free app and its exactly the same as BBM but allows you to do the same to anyone with a smart phone.
The dowsides are little things like the battery doesnt last long this maybe because I have had the phone for just over 18mths.
Also certain apps are not compatitable with the blackberry 8520. I dont know if this is the same for the new updated curve.
But overall when I upgrade I will still be sticking with the blackberry just getting a newer version.
This camera has its good and bad points.
Lets start with the good ones. Its a handy little size and fits perfectly into even my smallest handbag so great for taking on nights out. Atoehr is the flash charges pretty quickly. Its also very easy to use.
And I am not a tecnically minded person so when it came to uploading pictures from the camera on to my laptop I was grateful that it was very straight forward. And it also store each upload on pictures into individual folders for the day they were taken on so all I had to do was name each folder with the relevant event name
The bad points: Firstly I have only had the camera for about two months and the silver ring around the lens has come loose and repeatedly falls off when ever I take the camera out of my bag to take a picture. The camera also eats through batteries. I dont know if this is the case with all digital cameras as this is the first one I have had. Also there doesnt seem to be a delete one button so if you take a dodgy picture you cant just delete it. But this might just be me not been able to find the right button
I have really thick hair and its a night are for me to find a decent pair of straightners that will actually straighten my hair. I have the kind of hair that is not straight but not curly either its that kind of wavy hair that looks crap if you dont do anything with it
So I was bought these straightners for christmas and they are fab. They have a little dial on them so you can turn them up really high which is great on my thick hair, but I also love that I can turn them down to a cooler setting so I can also use them on my extensions
These straightners are also very easy to clean and I have had them for just over a year now and they are still going strong. Fair enough I dont use them every single day, but I do use them maybe four to five times a week.
The cable on them too is fab as its design to be used in salons, but if your bedroom is like mine with my plugs miles away from my mirror then these are the straightners for you
I love this deoderant and would recommend it to anyone.
The first time I bought it was because it was on offer and because it was in a pink container. What can I say I love pink! But since I first used it I have been hooked. It rolls on so easy everytime and because its stored in an upside down position this stops the roll from drying out.
The deoderant its self smells great, not too over powering but something you can still smell when you are getting undressed at the end of the day, which to me means that its still working. I dont have a stressful or active job so I couldnt tell you if it would last all day if you are literally running from A to B, but I do go to the gym three times a week and it lasts for me whilst I am there.
Another thing is the consistansy of the deoderant is like a creamy liquid, which helps mositurise your skin, I also put it straight on after shaving under my arms and it doesnt sting one bit.
Overall I think Sanex is brilliant.
I was recently in the market for a new laptop bt because I had just moved house I couldnt afford to buy one outright. So I headed to Carphone Warehouse where I purchased a cheap contract phone and recieved the Presario CQ57 for free. Well I pay £30 per month for the phone and the laptop was a free gift and offer that they have had on for a while.
Anyway I think this laptop is fabulous its just the right size screen to be able to watch things online and play games on Facebook. The battery life lasts quiet a while, I only charge it when on a night or if ive been downloading quiet a bit.
The screen light is fantastic not had to adjust it at all. I also got a free 12 month subscription to Bulldog which is an internet security thing which Carphone threw in for free.
The only downside I have found is the memory is pretty low, but I am solving that problem by buying an external hard drive, but other than that I think the Presario CQ57 is pretty great.
