I don't know about you but I really enjoy most popular sporting events and Talksport radio is a great service that makes sure you catch all the latest sports news.
Talksport is currently the fastest growing UK radio station and I must say that I am not surprised at all. I first started to listen to Talksport radio way back in the early nineties, when it was called Talkradio and have frequently listened in ever since. Talksport is not just about sport, on Talksport you will find many non-sport programes that cover a huge range of topics to talk about.
My favourite Talksport Presenters/shows:
: The Alan Brazil Breakfast Show on most mornings between 6-10am, the show is packed with the very latest in the sports world and where you will be sure to find an entertaining lively discussion going on.
: The Jon Gaunt show is also on week-day mornings (10-1pm) but is focused on news in general and has no interest in sports. Jon Gaunt is often very loud but never the less amusing to listen to.
: George Galloway on Fri/Sat/Sun between 9-1pm. The former politician gives his strong opinionated views on world news, heavy heated debates are common on this show.
: Lastly the James Whale show which is on Mon-Thur between 10-1pm. The James whale show is similar to the Jon Gaunt show, being that it has no interest in the sporting world . James whale is a veteran of the radio and is mostly very entertaining to listen to. (my NO.1 presenter on Talksport)
Talksport Website :
The website is also a good way to keep in touch with the latest Sporting events, News, Weather, Competitions,Message boards and information on the Talksport shows/presenters.
You can also listen in live online via website link : http://www2.talksport.net/mediaplayer/media_player.asp?sListenLive=yes&c=&t =

Talksport should appeal to most and I would be very surprised if you have never heard of this fantastic radio station before. With its now digitally transmitted razor sharp broadcast, there has never been a better time to tune in to Talksport. I found myself phoning in last week and although I waited 12mins to get on Talksport (which is 10p per min) was worth every penny. All in all a super original, one of a kind radio station that will have you hooked in no time.
P.S why not listen in tonight to the James Whale show between 10-1pm and see what you think.
At last we now have the house completely conquered by Freeview. The 4 and a bit TV channels have now
gone 30+ channels overnight with no more fuzzy vision.
Freeview is a giant step in the right direction for all us telly addicts (news buffs), it now allows us to access endless amount of channels from the use of our existing outdoor/indoor ariel, various stations you can pick up whilst using a freeview box are 2 News channels (sky news,BBC 24) , 2 pop ,4 qvc's, 2 kids, 1 film (film 4), ITV 2.3.4 , BBC 3.4, History,E4. More 4 and 3 US channels to name a few also you will have many radio stations to choose from that you also can hear from your exsiting TV set. (awesome)
Being that this is Freeview digital which works in a completely different way than the old analogue, the days of blurred or fuzzy vision are over for good. From now on it's razor sharp picture reception. (Horahh)
I would thoroughly recommend switching over to digital Freeview at the soonest availble time. Digital freeview really is the future of things to come and soon you will not have a choice as the old system (analogue) will not be broadcast.
I think many of you have now changed over but for the remaining few, go and do it now and you might be in time for the America's got talent show (David hasselhoff) on ITV 2.
Argos sale a great Digital freeview box for £19.99 called the Digihome which is a steal in my opinion.
I've been with AOL now for 7 years and must say that I have no plans to change my internet provider either.
With its easy to use layout (that's the first big plus point in my opinion) and straight forward basic features, lets you cut some of the stress out whilst using the online AOL service. As a AOL member you will receive 7 screen names, thus creating 7 email address's (handy for work). With its AOL manage email feature helps you to sort out your emails with ease. all so very easy to write and send email too.
I recently changed from AOL dial up 56k to AOL broadband and must say it was well worth it. At £14.99 a month AOL supply a wireless router free of charge for your broadband conection as well as all the instructions and discs needed for a quick stress free broadband set up on your computer.
I did notice though recently AOL have got rid of their 0800 free numbers to 0870 which was a little disappointing for their average customer like myself.
So for the service and value for money, AOL offers a great deal which will be hard to match from the other rivals. All in all I give it my thumbs up and would urge dooyoo readers to at least visit their site on www.aol.co.uk.
I have to admit that I'm hooked on Ebay, it's a brilliant website. Simply go to www.ebay.co.uk, register which takes less then 5mins then you can buy and sell anything you like. (well almost anything lol)
I became a Ebayer some 5 years ago when my sister recommened I do so (think I wanted a cheap DVD) since then I've also started to sell items for which it's best to have a digital camera so you can discribe and show the stuff you are selling in detail.
So far in my Ebay career I've had no negative feedback (YES I'M 100% POSITIVE) and will hope to keep it that way.
When I shop on Ebay I make sure that the seller is 97-100% positive before I start bidding on any item. One of the great things on Ebay is that you can contact buyer or seller straight away via an Ebay email, which gives you piece of mind when wanting a little more information and detail on item.
When selling on Ebay you will be charged a small amount for listing and 5.25% on the total sale, which in my opinion is very reasonable.
I usually use my Paypal account when buying (very useful) ,though I do send the odd cheque. With Paypal it lets you pay the seller straight away but make sure the seller accepts this method of payment before you purchase.
Ebay is I think one of my best websites on the internet, and would urge all dooyoo readers to check it out. I am almost certain you'll find a bargin on Ebay, plus it's also great fun to sell.
HAPPY BIDDING AND HAPPY EBAYING.
Viva la France....
Boy do I love France, the food, the wine, the women, the countryside, shall I go on, maybe not but being just over 20 miles from our coastline, (Dover) France is a must to visit.
Pop over in just over 1hr on those big car ferry's (even quicker on eurotunnel) and moments later enjoy a strong Espresso with a Croissant in a rustic cafe.(wonderful)
In the evening in France why not explore the local Town/City or Village and discover fantastic Bar's and Restaurant's. In my opinion the best place to be on holiday is in a popular local French Bistro having a good steak and French fries (chips) , served with house wine mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
To sum up France, (you've got to go for yourself to discover such a great country) is that with its beautiful people, cusine (frogs legs/snails/cheeses etc), wine, roads, architecture, women, markets, bars, restaurants, hotels, patisseries, amazing language, 2cv's/citroens, old men wearing their french berets, stench of garlic, locals bickering in the streets, supermarches (playing loud pop music), mopeds with noisey exhausts, grasshoppers, buzzing nightlife, and so much more.
I am so confident that you will like France that I am willing to refund all your personal travel expenses (haha), so why not make plans for a visit this summer right now.
I'm saving right now for a small flat in Paris (onlooking that stunning river, The Saine. (wish me luck LOL)
Lola's got 20mins to save her boyfriends life after he phones her on the otherside of town in distress.
Lola's boyfriend (Manni) has lost the money he owes his gangster Boss £50,000 by a mistake, leaving it on a busy subway train and to make matters worse a tramp has now picked up his dosh.
With a mind blowing pace and hardcore techno music in the background it's a truely compelling film to watch and infact it will get your own adrenal glands pumping from your seat.
The casting is spot on and I personally find Lola (Franka Potente) to be very attractive though her hair colour does take some time to adjust to. The directing is extremely fresh, with superb panning shots from the urban German city and it's also well worth taking a note down for director/writer Tom Tykwer as I'm sure he'll be bringing more of his work to the big sreen.
At 77 mins long it's pretty short but is still a very exciting and entralling ride and watch out this film has a seriously excellent twist. Being this is a German film you'll have a choice of watching DVD in subtitles or a dubbed format. I urge everyone reading this review now to watch this flashy foriegn classic. (you will thank me) I just hope hollywood don't remake this film as it would have no buzz in my opinion.
A very clever German film indeed, 100% good fun.
This review is on Spain and the picture above is on the Spanish football team (dooyoo fancy putting a nice pine tree instead).
Hola Como estas', Muy Bien gracias. Bet most of you know what that means but to those of you who don't it means 'Hello how are you, Very good thanks.
Spain is a hot happy country and that's why as Brits are all living down there. Learning the lovely Espanol (Spainish) language is very important as the locals will very much appreciate it.
Once in spain whether you've jumped of at Malga airport or driven through the Pyrenees, you will be in a very beautiful country with superb scenic landscapes, fantastic People, wonderful Wine, brilliant climate to name a few great points. (oh' and Flamenco dancing very passionate)
The spainish way of life is very appealing with a siesta in the afternoon and a longer evening (stunning nightlife). The Spanish have also a very strong focus around their families which is nice too.
Get your Euros out, find a resonable flight or transport and take a break in Espana, you'll probably won't want to come back.
One more thing, you've got to go to a bull fight, Arribar' Arribar.
I love these dogs that's why I've got a liver and white one called Pedro who says woof woof in the morning as I get out of bed.
With their cute ears and bubbly personality they are the KING of dogs in my opinion. My Springer can be very springy at times wagging his tail like theres no tomorrow. (thank heavens most of it was chopped of in his puppyhood)
We had a Cocker Spaniel before this one but prefer the Springer Spaniel as he has a better IQ and is more fun. (doesn't growl at you when he has a bone)
I think though you would need a relatively large home with Garden if you're going to bring up the Springer Spaniel.
I would say to all (even cat lovers) to put this beautiful Springer Spaniel breed on your doggy top list.
Hula Hoops are great crisps, my favourite infact. You can get a variety of flavours such as the original, Salt and vinegar, Beef,Cheese and onion and chedar cheese to name a few.
I find the round crunchy Hula Hoops to be so blissful, I also like putting them on my finger tips.
The new Hula hoop recipe has now 55% less saturted fat but with the same great taste. (Wonderful)
I bet you will not find another crisp so enjoyable to eat as the Hula hoop.
I would say to all who read this review to go out and buy some Hula Hoops NOW, you will be glad you did.
