I recently bought my mum one of these as she's doing a french course so finds it helpful to be able to listen to her listening comprehensions on the move. Needless to say she was delighted with the present and it works brilliantly, you can set it to shuffle or straight playing and the on off switch is a handy feature as when she used my iPod I often found it had run out of battery where she'd forgotten to turn it off! It's a nice size and can discreetly clip to your clothes especially on inside pockets. The only downside is no screen but to be honest most MP3 users don't want one so it's great!
This perfume is somewhat odd in the fact that when you spary it on it's lovely but after a while the smell changes and so you have to attempt to wash it off and reapply as the faded smell is not very nice at all! However when first applied it lasts for a few hours and has a lovely smell, cute bottle too which always helps. Sadly the slightly faded smell brings the phrase 'eau de slut' to mind which is not the scent you're ever after! However as it's just £9.95 in boots currently it's a great gift.
I bought my white 80GB video iPod a while ago and love it to bits. Apple may not be perfect but this is something they got right. You have to find your own way to rip dvds and make them iPod compatible and it takes a while to Sync the movies over but once that's done and you're using it it's fantastic. I get free studie periods at school and love watching a TV episode or a film in them - long bus/train/car journeys are bearable thanks to this.
It can hold plenty of music (though why someone would have 80GB of that is beyond me) and many films which is brilliant. If you want to keep your kids entertained then I suggest you buy an iFrogz case so it doesn't get dropped. I have dropped mine a few times but apart from smoe slight scuffing to the metal back no damage was done at all!
Windows Vista is well, a Microsoft product, that means you've got a guarantee on most cases of it wont work well or at all.
However I found Home Premium to be quite good, I only have 1GB of RAM and my laptop can be quite sluggish at times so personally I'd recommend at least 2GB but apart from that it works nicely.
I have encountered many bugs and helped others to fix ones they've come across, msn not working, control panel not opening (and you ending up stuck in a loop as a result etc). While I have found that all of these are fixable I'd advise others to wait until service pack 1 comes out at least. I currently have no sound on my laptop (a Vista only problem) and the only way to fix it is by plugging in external speakers or headphones.
Vista looks nice but you need a high perfomance machine to get it working properly - I'd only get it if it comes ready installed on your new computer/laptop - don't upgrade just yet.
I got this phone recently on the £15 a month texter deal with 3. It's a fantastic phone with lots of features you'll never use but is very easy and comfy to use. I was very worried about the shiny black cover getting scratched as well as the large screen (which is fantastic when taking pictures) but so far there is only one dull oint on the black on the back cover and 0 scratches!
The camera is 2 Mega pixels and does exactly what it says, I'd personally avoid using the digital zoom and use a program on your PC later for it to help the quality (6"x4" is the best you can get with 2 MP).
Though this phone is quite large I have to say it doesn't weigh much, the size is mostly due to the screen and battery (which lasts forever if you don't use msn!)
Overall a very good phone, I love it to bits.
