I had the otterbox on my 3GS for quite a while now. Occasionally, I remove the case to see how my phone looks. It still looks brand new! I dropped my phone at least 3 times. Yes, the otter box may have scratches on it by now, my the phone is still safe and sound. Overall, the otterbox is great if you just want a case that will protect your phone.
What I don't like about this case is the looks. It make my skinny 3GS look fat and cheap. Even though the case has a great grip, I don't feel the satisfaction of using an expensive Apple product. When I put the case on the iPhone it makes the iPhone look very cheap. Another disadvantage is that the otterbox is not water proof. If you accidentally drop your phone is a pool or the toilet the otterbox will not protect it from water.
Overall, the otterbox is a great case for the iPhone if your just looking for protection.
We just purchased this laptop for Thanksgiving. It has been nothing but pleasure to have it. It's fast with it's 4GB RAM, 64 BIT, and 320 GB Hard Drive. Performance wise, I don't have any problems with it. Another thing that caught my eye is the stunning display. When you take a first look at this laptop, you'll notice the HD bright and clear display. This is perfect for gameplay, watching videos, etc. Plus the webcam has a great quality when taking pictures/videos. Usually most laptop's built in webcams have horrible quality but HP really took this laptop to the next level.
As there are a lot of great features and advantages of this laptop, there are a few disadvantages. The AMD Athlon processor is not as great as one of Intel's processors. Sometimes it lags which causes your computer to freeze or become slow. This processor seems like it was built for light non multitasking users. If you're a heavy user, I highly recommend buying this laptop with an Intel processor. (Pentium or higher...) The battery life on this laptop is not too great but when you lower your brightness and change the settings a little, it should last you at least 2 and a half hours on full charge.
Overall, the HP Pavilion dm3- 1020ea laptop is a great laptop with a few minor bugs. Nothing can be perfect... If you're looking for a laptop, based on quality, I highly recommend this laptop.
Just yesterday I received my 16GB HTC Flyer in the mail. I purchased it used from Ebay. I have been using it non-stop. I love the stylish interface of this tablet. The animations are bright and vivid and so is the display. This tablet was released on June 1st, 2011. It became the number one sensation as the HTC (Usually a cell phone company) released an Android tablet. But then, as competitors tried to win they're customers back, they released tablets with bigger screens and more quality cameras. Even though, the HTC Flyer isn't as popular as the big guys, it still has lots of killer features that makes it great!
I personally love the built-in applications that comes with this tablet. (Weather, friends communications, facebook, news updates, etc.) You can choose what applications to add on to your home screen. The personalizing ability on this tablet is by far the best with one of the most popular used HTC Sense 3.6. You can download wallpapers, notification sounds, etc., right from the built-in HTC online shopping store (Dont worry, they're all free). I also love the clear camera. It may not have flash but it's still a great 5 mega pixel camera. The front camera is regular VGA, nothing special.
The tablet itself may be a little bulky. I expected a thin device sent to me.
Another thing that disappointed me is the speed boost. I am a heavy user. I download almost anything that I can find. When I use too much space the tablet slows down which disappointed me.
Other than that, this is a great user-friendly tablet. I was very happy that with my 100 euro tablet.
I've had the HP Touchpad for almost a year now and it still never disappointed me. Even though HP's OS operating system for this tablet is not popular, it doesn't mean this tablet will be a disappointment. You can download songs, movies, games, podcasts, etc., just like an Android tablet or an iPad. I usually use this tablet for general purposes like basic web browsing, email checking, etc.
The features I liked about the HP Touchpad is the quality touch screen. It's has a light touch sensor which means you wont have to press hard to select what you want. The screen is also very durable and pretty scratch resistant. I really love the way HP added animations to every portion you touch.
I also love the built-in applications that come with the tablet. They are very stylish and interactive rather than Apple's boring interfaces. Some built-in applications include video player, song player, calendar, photo album, video chat, mail, web browser, etc.
Overall, the HP Touchpad is a great, fun, and interactive tablet everyone must love!
Whenever I see an i7 label on a laptop I know that it's going to be fast. I have an HP laptop that runs an i7 processor. It's one of the latest and fastest processors out in the market. My computer never slows down even when I heavily multitask. I am an extremely heavy user on the computer. My HP laptop has 4GB of RAM. I usually use over 80% of the free RAM and my computer still never slows down. This processor is beyond "great", performance wise.
Intel's quad-core technology exceeds many people's expectations. With this chip/processor, I get some of Intel's performance improving softwares already pre-loaded onto my laptop. (Ex. Intel MyWifi Technolgy) Whenever I have a graphic problem, WiFi connecting problem, speed connection problem, etc., I can always depend on Intel.
I absolutely love Intel's new i7 processor. It gives automatic performance boosts to my computer to prevent it from slowing down. I never had a problem with this processor. I highly recommend this product to others.
I absolutely love my iPhone 4S. It's fast, reliable, and fun! What's the point of a smartphone if you can't have fun with it. There are quite a few improvements that are featured on the iPhone 4S. Some of them include an 8 mega pixel camera, a faster A5 processor, and Siri capabilities. In my opinion, the 8 mega pixel camera on the iPhone seems stunning. When you zoom, the quality doesn't disappear as much as the iPhone 3GS or the iPhone 4. The faster A5 processor prevents buffering, lagging, and slow performance. I never seemed to have any problems with the performance. Even on my 3G/4G network! Finally, I would like to talk about Siri. Siri is absolutely amazing! It recognizes your voice and follows your instructions to almost every command. There are some limitations to Siri but they were fixed in the latest iOS 6 update. Here are some example questions and responses of Siri.
1. Question: What is my current location?
Siri: (Displays map and speaks your current location)
2. How many calories are in a bagel?
Siri: (Pulls up online Wolfram Alpha webpage with your information.)
3. Tell me a joke...
Siri: (Actual Response) "Two iPhone walk into a bar. I forget the rest."
Overall, I love my iPhone 4S and I highly recommend it to people.
Now that the iPhone 4, 4S, and 5 came out, nobody seems to care about the "old" iPhone 3GS. In my opinion, I still love this iPhone. It's not slow, it has a decent camera, it's supported to be upgraded to Apple's latest iOS 6 software, it has a great design, etc. It may lack some features that the new devices have but it could save you over a hundred Euros when you're buying a used iPhone. The iPhone 5 is approximately 619 Euros without a contract. The iPhone 3GS is approximately just 245 Euros without a contract.
Now it all comes down to perspective. If your looking for one of the latest and hottest phones on the market you probably need to stop reading this review. If your looking for a cheap smartphone that's very reliable continue reading. The iPhone 3GS is a perfect phone in my perspective. The main things/features you will miss out from the other latest iPhones is the front camera, retina display, high camera quality, and faster processors (The iPhone 3GS still is very reliable, performance wise...). If you don't mind a few differences, than the iPhone 3GS is the phone for you.
As you can see by this review, I love the iPhone 3GS. It's a simple and classic phone that's always there when you need it. Even though it's one of Apple's older phones, quality or performance doesn't lack too much. You won't be faced with any problems if you take good care of your phone. Plus there is still iTunes support so if you are faced with a software error, you will be able to fix it in less that 20 minutes.
In this review I want to avoid talking mainly about the exterior features as it is simple enough for anyone for figure out. The controls include a rewind/last song button, forward/next song button, volume up button, volume down button, power switch, shuffle switch, and two status lights (bottom and top). Most of the controls are self-explanatory but I will go through some of them. The power switch allows you to reset, turn-on, or turn off your iPod shuffle and the shuffle switch allows random songs to be played without manually switching songs.
The 1 GB iPod Shuffle can hold approximately 250 songs. You can use all of the free space on the shuffle. Many other devices often slow down if too much of the memory is used, but not the iPod Shuffle. Simply add songs from your iTunes software to the iPod Shuffle and you're good to go.
Apple created the iPod Shuffle to allow users/people a simple way to listen to songs. Instead of a multi-purpose device that can browse the internet, stream videos, downloads files, etc., the iPod Shuffle just plays songs when your headphones are connected. In my opinion, I wished that the iPod Shuffle should have a small speaker so other friends can see the songs you have.
Overall, the iPod Shuffle is a great and extremely simple song device that doesn't need to load, crash, or have a virus.
The HTC Sensation is a stunning phone. I personally have used it for over a year and it's still great. In this review I will talk about some of it's great features.
(Number 1:) The HTC Sensation has an extraordinary camera. It's 8 mega pixel and has zoom flash. If you ever see the phone, you'll notice that it has two flashes. This allows great auto-focusing of images and stunning picture quality.
(Number 2:) The HTC Sensation has a great qHD display. This suits all of the phone's great interface. You can customize your phone with HTC Sense 3.6. (Add/change wallpapers, ringtones, icons skins, notification tones, etc.) The customization is a big part in this phone
(Number 3:) The HTC Sensation can be upgraded to Android Ice Cream Sandwich, one of Google's latest Android operating systems. You will notice many new and different features in ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) including a new stylish interface.
(Number 4:) Performance wise, the HTC Sensation is very and reliable. When you multitask the phone never lags or slows down. Just make sure to taskkill the apps you don't use once in a while.
In my opinion, I absolutely love my HTC Sensation 4G. It's simple, yet it has a lot of features. If your looking for a cheap and easy-to-use phone in the market, I would recommend the HTC Sensation.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 is pre-loaded with ICS (Android Ice Cream Sandwich). Android Ice Cream Sandwich is one of the latest Android operating systems for tablets and phones. You're probably wondering why I'm talking about the operating system rather than the actual device itself... When people buy an Android tablet, they probably look for the latest or popular ones. What makes an Android device, "new"? It operating system! People don't see it's operating system. All they see is it's new software features. For example, when Android released its ICS operating system to tablets, people wanted the new features of that operating system. Many companies released tablets that was pre-loaded with ICS. That's what struck people opinion's. Many people didn't care about the new exterior features of the tablets. They wanted ICS.
In some cases, its necessary to judge an android tablet by exterior features. For example, if you compare the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (2) with the old Samsung Galaxy 7 inch you would see major exterior differences. (The size, shape, design, performance, camera, etc.) Even though the Samsung Galaxy 7 inch had the old Android Froyo 2.2, compared to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (2)'s Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich, it's exterior features are significant in comparison.
Enough about the background information... Let's dive into the features of the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 (2). I personally have this tablet and love it a lot. It exceeds in many aspects. Let's start off with performance. You can multitask by downloading files, playing games, chatting, etc. without slowing your speed down. Many devices often lag if too much memory is used. You won't have to worry about that when you have the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 (2). Another good aspect on this tablet is the camera with flash. You can take videos and pictures at night or in dark places. You won't have to worry about focusing the camera when you move to different positions. Samsung added an auto-focus feature that allows you to take continuous pictures without constantly adjusting the focus.
Now, let's talk about the tablet's stylish interface. Samsung wanted users to have a great experience with this tablet. How can they accomplish this goal without a good interface that appeals to everyone? Samsung made great start-up and shut-down animations, scrolling animations, window animations, user customization(s), etc. to provide a better experience for the user. For example, you all probably experienced the old Windows XP or Windows 2000. Now look at the cool new Windows 7 and Windows 8. Don't think about its new features. Think about's design and appearance. Would you rather use Windows XP or Windows 8?
Finally, I would like to talk about the tablet's exterior features like it's volume buttons, sleep and on/off switch, color, hard drive, etc. You can just skip this paragraph if this doesn't interest you. Don't worry, I won't mind. The Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tablet (2) can be purchased in different colors and in different hard drive sizes. The maximum size is 32GB. I personally have the 16GB as I don't download many apps. I use the tablet for basic web browsing, checking email, etc. If you are a heavy user I would recommend the 32GB. Note that the 16GB is cheaper. Finally, I would like wrap up this review by talking about the it exterior buttons. This tablet doesn't have a home button like many Apple products because all your navigating options are in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. This tablet has volume button, a charging port, and an on/off button. Nothing special, just simplicity.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (2) is a great device and I highly recommend it.
Whenever Apple releases a new product, everyone expects something different, something revolutionary, something that enhances your day to day life... Though, the iPhone 5 doesn't seem to make a big difference than the iPhone 5. Some of the new features on the iPhone 5 was a slightly better camera, a longer screen, thinner sides, and an A6 processor. In my perspective, I feel that these are just minor improvements.
Anyway, lets talk about some of the improvements. When Apple released the iPhone 5, they released iOS 6 to come with it. iOS 6 features new Apple maps, better syncing of files, passbook (to update your travel information), etc. The new A6 processor increases the speed and performance of the iPhone. You will be able to multitask, play games without lagging, download files faster, send and receive files faster, etc. The iPhone was also designed to look slimmer with a longer screen. In my opinion, I really love the design as it's lightweight and thin. The look and feel is better than the previous iPhones. Finally, the iPhone 5 has an improved camera. You can take Panorama pictures with a simple slide of the device.
In this paragraph I would like to talk about my opinions on the iPhone 5. When I use my iPhone 5, I don't get that "new device" feeling. I am talking about a feeling that makes people proud that you have one of the latest and most expensive devices on the market. All I feel is that I have the iPhone 4S with a larger screen. There are no extra software features. Apple just changed the exterior and hardware features. I feel that the iPhone 5 is pretty much the iPhone 4S with a different design.
Overall, the iPhone 5 is better and more efficient device but not by a long shot.
The Samsung Galaxy S is a great phone to use. With it's ultra clear HD (High Definition) display, you'll experience better game play, crystal clear videos, and web browsing. The Samsung Galaxy S can be updated to Android ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich), one of the latest Android operating systems.
This phone features a front and rear camera. Perfect for video chatting and sharing photos... Personally, I love the rear camera as it is focused, clear, and prevents red eyes. Another cool feature about this phone is the fast processor. You can multitask, download/use apps, surf the internet, etc. without slowing down the speed of your phone. The new Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system automatically kills unused apps for a long period of time.
This phone can also act as an organizer. You can set reminders, alarms, notes, etc to help you plan and remember day to day activities. After a long busy day, you can sit back and relax to one of the 250,000 Android apps in the market.
