Personally this is a good powerful but quiet fan! Excellent present!

Strange Christmas present I know but this is what my Gorgeous Dad bought me! I often complain whilst doing my batch cooking that I get over heated in the kitchen! This is my Dads solution! This stands nicely in the corner of my kitchen. It has an adjustable height of 112 to 135 cm. it has 3 speeds, the too speed being quite powerful and found it was blowing all sorts about my kitchen! I found it easy to assemble which took me approximately 20 mins with the help (?) of my 9 year old son. The instructions I found very easy to follow. On switching the fan on I was amazed at how quiet it was even on the highest setting! So much so i wouldn't think twice about putting this in my sons room during the summer. It has a good wide oscillating feature which gives a fantastic wide air flow.

      Here are the product details:

My hair has been shiner and it amazingly has stayed knot free! Good product !

My job involves me working outside all year round so not only does my hair suffer from being dried out by the rain but also from the sun!

From my other reviews you may gather that I am constantly looking for a miracle cure to tame my long locks! I saw this advertised on the Internet anf for a reasonable price of a fiver I thought I would give it a try!

This comes in a regular 150ml squeezey tube. The first thing I have to do is give tab smell. To be honest the scent is very non descript which I don't mind as I don't like strong smells on my hair because by the time I have shampoo'd and then my heat protecting spray the smell of something else to me is not acceptable.

The instructions are very simple, wash your hair than massage the product into your hair and leave for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse.

I decided to leave my hair to dry naturally as I didn't want any other product to alter what the outcome would be! The comb went through very easily which is always a bonus! Once my hair dried it did seem somewhat shinier!

I used this product over 3 months and although my locks didn't appear to resemble a super model my hair did appear to be in better condition. I just used this product once a week and got approximately 10 treatments from each 150 ml tube.

In short this has freed up my time with my mum. For,the price you can't go wrong.

I love the turn of autum as for me it signifies the time to get my slow cooker out! I have uses a slow cooker for many years and really couldn't cope without it.

Once a week I cook for,my mum and came up with the bright idea of purchasing one to use at her house. After reviewing many appliances I chose this one as it was reasonably priced and a good brand name. It,also, had the two settings of eight hours and four hours.

The croc pot is of a good 3.5 litre capacity. The base has rubber non slip feet and the electric lead was slightly longer than the one I use at my house which I think is better. The lid is dishwasher proof too.

This slow cooker also, has the extra function of stay warm which proved invaluable for when my sister and I cooked for,the whole family, it enabled us to do,a,huge batch of gravy and kept it warm whilst serving up the rest of the food.

It is easy to clean too.

This slow cooker has enable me to spend more quality time with my mum as I no longer have to rush in after work and try and throw something together. I now take my pre-prepped food,in the morning before work and return to my mums to a glorious aroma of a home cooked meal. Before I leave my mums I prepare another dish so all she has to do,is switch it on!

        225 watts.
        Capacity 3.5 litres.
        Removable ceramic bowl.
3 settings: Low, high and keep warm.
        Keep warm function.
        Toughened glass lid.
        Dishwasher safe glass lid.
        Non-slip feet.
        EAN/MPN/UPC/ISBN: 5011773031752 .

In my opinion it does what I bought it to do and it can be purchased for around £25 a £28

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

I think this is an excellent piece of equipment!

Well well well! I never thought I would be using a steriliser again until my beautiful sister produced my gorgeous nephew! I agreed to help her out with child care at the weekends when her shifts fell that way. So although I do not look afternoon every weekend I was finding that there were occasions when I ran out of sterilised bottles. I purchased this one after a friend recommended it. It just sterilises one at a time but that was all that I needed. This is a neat compact piece of equipment as I did not want something that took up space.

It is very easy to use but I suspect that you would need to check the measurements of your microwave before purchasing as it only just fits in my microwave.

You do have the option to use sterilising tablets and cold water but I haven't used this option!

As you would expect the bottle is very hot to touch when it first comes out!

Personally if I had my time again I don't think I would've purchased a large electric steriliser as I breasted my children only using a bottle once or twice a day.

          Product Features
Use in the microwave or with cold water and a sterilisation tablet
          Compact for travel
          Great for night-time feeds
Safe, quick and simple to use any time, anywhere
          BPA-free for total reassurance

So my option for £10 this is a very good buy

Oh yes the twist? I get to hand him back!!!!!!!!!

Slices through anything, easy storage and easy to clean.

This was one of my favourite Christmas presents bought by my dad! I am not an ungrateful person but buying a household appliance is a big no no in my opinion.........until now!

This amazing little gadget is so easy to use, storage is not a problem and so easy to clean! (A must for me!)

The first thing that struck me was its ability to chop without the food sticking to the sides so there was no need to keep stopping and starting to scrape the jug!

It is a sturdy compact machine that has rubber grins to stop it from moving!

At first I thought the jug was a little bit awkward to put on but very quickly got the knack!

It is very powerful with its 300w motor and is quite noisy but has you don't have to have it chopping for long that does not bother me.

The stainless steel blades slice through anything! Garlic is no longer a problem or finely chopped chives. Gone are the days of streaming eyes when chopping onions.

I am sure this has saved me hors in the kitchen!

One big bonus is how small it is! It can sit on the work surface or tuck way in a cupboard!

            Thanks Dad!

            Technical Details
            Safety interlock system. Dishwasher safe.
350ml bowl with 150ml chopping capacity.
Stainless steel blades for perfect results.
            Rubber feet for added stability.
            300w.

In my opinion this is a super little gadget once you get use to putting the jug on!

            Average price £20 to £25

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

I thought initially this was expensive but as the months go on I feel this has been a good buy!

I had been looking around for a suitable water bottle for my son. I have bought many water bottles for my son but after a few months I get the same .......mummy I don't want the green/red/black/blue bottle the water tastes all yucky! Never really understanding why the water tasted yucky I just kept replacing the bottles! Granted I have never spent more than £3 for a bottle got the reason being I knew I would be changing it sooner or later!

Anyhow I started to do a bit of asking around and this was suggested to me by another mum from school. Paying twice the price I usually pay I was quite impressed with the grip of the bottle and the easy squeezing, my little boy only has small hands and I thought the plastic would be hard to squeeze but my son has had no problems!

My Sonia's been using this since October half term and as yet he has not complained about the yucky plastic taste so fingers crossed the extra money has been worth it!

Having read up about this bottle since, I do not know how true it is about toxins in plastics but I do have to admit that this bottle still has no odours!

            Toxin-Free Water Bottle

            * Made from BPA-Free Crystal Polypropylene
            * No toxins to leach into your water
            * No plastic smell or taste like standard water bottles
            * Convenient Sport Size - 651ml
            * Easy to grip and squeeze

BPA-Free: The water bottle sold by pHion is made from BPA Free Crystal Polypropylene, which means that your drinks are not altered in any way through harmful leeching of chemicals found in low-density polypropylene bottles.

Odor and Taste Free: Because of the material this water bottle is made of there is no "plastic" smell or taste that is typically found when using other water bottles.

Convenient Sport Size: Weighing in at 651ml, this water bottle is very convenient to keep handy at all times. Remember, drinking healthy alkaline water all throughout the day is key to maintaining your desired pH balance.

Easy to Grip and Squeeze: For those always on the go, the ease of this bottle to grip and squeeze makes it a joy to use.

So in my opinion, although twice the amount I usually pay this has been a very good buy. I have one whine free little boy! :-)

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            Great educational fun!

After my little boy watch the magic Only one Phil Taylor he requested a dart board! Shock horror at the thought of not only purchasing a dart board but having to purchase poly filler and a match pot! That was until I spotted this at only £6.00 My initial thought Was that will be a passing fad and it wouldn't matter if the Velcro didn't stick for that long!

The actual board is slightly smaller than a regular dart board and is very easy to hang up! You get two sets of 3 darts. There is various numbers spotted around the board various sizes and colours. I was ver impressed with the stickiness of the darts! Although we initially played it competitively we did make out own number bond game up. We wrote cards out 2 to 10 then cards with 1 2 and 3. Each player selected a card from each deck so you could pick up a number 7 from the first pile and a number 3 from the second so the aim would be to make that number in 3 darts! We had many hours of fun learning and playing together. After about 3 months the Velcro lost its stickiness but that was through constant playing and was easily fixed by purchasing some Velcro from my local craft shop and glueing it on!

This dart board is still going strong and is now being used by my daughter!

In my opinion this has been a fantastic value for money toy as you can't put a price on education and fun!

Excellent product and saved me some money too!

I have always used a food processor to make my soups and smoothies due to the fact I had one in the cupboard since the children were babies! Although big and bulky I loved my food processor but the day came and it had broken! Whilst using Dooyoo to review food processors I came across hand blenders and thought what an excellent idea! Quick sand easy to use and hopefully quick to clean!

So I purchased Kenwood HB615 Blender for £30.00 The first thing that struck me was how light this was. The handle had a good grip to it and was very comfortable to hold. This product comes with a beaker that also doubles up as a storage container which is very handy!

The first thing I made with it was leak and potato soup one of my favourites! The blender went through with ease with little splashing! As I said earlier there is an excellent grip on the blender.

Cleaning of this product was easy, the blades come away easily!

I am really pleased with this purchase, it takes up far less room in my cupboard too!

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            Compact and easy to clean!

Living 50 miles away from my family I have always popped over to see them and be fed! However after having car problems my mum suggested that 'the family' came over to me for Sunday lunch! After the first initial panic of cooking for 10 people subsided i realised my biggest problem was not having another hob space to cook all the vegetables! That is when a friend suggested a steamer and this is the one I bought. I didn't want to buy one too big as I didn't wart it to become another item just sat in the cupboard used once in a blue moon!

This to me looks very stylish and goes with my other chrome accessories in my kitchen should I chose to leave it out! Now the Important part how did it cook my veg??????? BEAUTIFULLY!!!!!!! I could not find any fault in the way the veg turned out! I loved the fact that my veg was cooked slightly before I was ready and I was able to turn the heat off and it still kept warm without the veg dissolving into the water.

Cleaning this steamer was extremely easy! I love the way it stores too!

I paid £45 and I think it is worth it! Now it's time to clear out some of my old pots and pans!

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

For the price very good value!

I always seem to struggle to buy presents for my little one as she is not really into dolls and stuff but is happier playing with what I call blue Peter stuff I.e old envelopes buttons glue junk basically. So when I saw this for £10.00 I was a little bit dubious but went for it as it was more creative and knowing whatmshemis like she would at least find another use for the box!

The box itself is a pretty box and is of a reasonable size to use to store other things once the beads were all used up! Although the beads are very small and I thought would be quite fiddly my little one has managed fine. She is five years old, the product says three to four year olds and I feel a three year old may struggle!

You can make bracelets and necklaces in all sorts of pretty designs. The only downside is that there could've been more cord and clasps as my daughter did not want to,dismantle any of her creations but that was easily solved by purchasing more clasps from my local craft shop for pence!

For me the best part I'd this gift was that my daughter for the first time wanted to make Grandma a birthday present and gave me the opportunity to talk about giving and receiving! Grandma was over the moon with her gift! Onei think she will keep, forever!

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

This mascara certainly suits my eyes and for the price advertised seems reasonable

To say I am fussy about mascara is an under statement! I want to gain the effect of longer thicker lashes but always seem to end up with short clumpy lashes not the look I am looking for. I,look at all the adverts advertising these lush lashes and I have probably spen a small fortune if I were brave enough to,add it all up!

Luckily I was bought this as a present and yes sadly got quite excited about trying it out!

So,after indulging in a good facial and ensuring all traces of my makeup removed I removed the mascara from its packaging.

The serum went on very smoothly and evenly almost felt like putting Vaseline on my lashes ! And then I,put the top coat on which in all fairness did not clum at all. The brush was adequate although I,do,prefer a thick brush as I feel you get a far better coverage.

Yes my eyelashes did look thicker and there was certainly no clumping. After a days work my eyelashes still looked full and there was still no,clogging which I was very impressed with!

The item is describe as follows

Step 1: The Lash Boosting Primer is serum-infused to boost lash condition. It contains a pro-keratin complex that fortifies lashes and maximizes their appearance.
Step 2: The Ultra-Lengthening Mascara Topcoat coats and lengthens lashes instantly, for up to 80% longer, clum-free fringe.
For boosted results, use the mascara daily with Concentrated Lash Boosting Serum.

            The mascara is 2x 6ml.

In my opinion this mascara has certainly worked for me and I would recommend it

I have researched the prices (as it was a gift) most places advertise it from £5.00 and to me that is worth every penny for clump free lashes!

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

Great asset to anyone with finger joint or wrist problems!

Being the complete gadget geek that I am I simply love this device! So easy to use no manual is needed! Since breaking all four finger in an accident I have struggled to use the conventionally tin opener.

From the first moment I used this I knew it would be one of my best buys of the year! It does everything it says on the tin (excuse the pun) in my opinion it is a compact nifty little kitchen gadget! I'm not sure how I coped before! I love the fact that it has the bottle opener on it too!

The knife sharpening side to it I cannot really comment on as I haven't used that!

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

very good product would highly recommend!

Having a 'brand' mad husband that has coffee running through his veins i never thought in a million years that i would be able to get him to drink a stores own brand coffee!

I purchased Asda chosen by you Gold Roast coffee 200g jar for £2.98 which seems very good value, now the hard part of getting this home and into the coffee pot befor the husband saw the jar! To make it authentic i did have to pour my Asda coffee into a branded named jar.....mission accomplished! I was dying to ask my husband if he wanted a coffee but that may have caused suspicion and so i waited.

I personally feel that this coffee tasted no different from the ususal Kenco, Nescafe brands but i am not a coffee expert. When making my coffee in the morning it has a lovely aroma to it and i find it a very smooth tasting coffee. I was very impressed!

After a couple of days and not having received any comments from my husband i could only assume that he had not noticed the differnce.

Then when we went next shopping i picked up the Asda Gold Roast to the shock horror of my husband, i told him that is what he had been drinking for the past two weeks and he was utterly surprised and finally admitted he is a brand snob!

This coffee on average saves me about £2.00 every time.

very good product based on the price

I'm having a foody day today! As a fulltime working mum i don't always have time to cook things from scratch, so i always have one of these in the cupboard.

I cooked this last night, we were having chicken stuffed with chilli cream cheese wrapped in bacon served with pasta n sauce and brocoli.

Very easy to follow the instructions just add milk, water and butter (optional) I added the butter for a bit of extra taste. The first time i used this product i was really concerned that the sauce was going to be too runny but as i was plating the rest of the food up i noticed that the sauce began to thicken (if i had read the whole of the instructions i would've known this!)

I found this product very tasty and an excellent accompliment to my stuffed chilli chicken and brocoli. I have also since eaten this product on its own with a crusty cob, a very quick and simple lunchtime snack.

These are usually priced at around 80p to £1.00 but i have frequently seen these on offer for 2 for £1.50 I find them very good value for money!

                Disadvantages

Add a little extra basil or garlic and there is nothing different to leading brands.

I am having a foody day today. I have just finished making meat balls for the family tea tonight and i am using Tesco Value Pasta Sauce which i now use constantly.

The packaging does nothing to get the taste buds going but at the end of the day i am not going to eat the packaging.

When i first used this product i purchased it for 31p where as alot of the 'leading' brands were costing over a pound! On opening the jar my initial thought was that it was going to be very bland and of a runny consistancy. I was very much surprised, yes it was slightly thinner than some of the other brands i had used in the past, but it smelt as the others did.

I poured this into a pan to warm through and had a little taste, to me it was missing a little something, so i added some basil to taste and it quickly tasted no different from the leading brands. I personally prefer to use this as a base to my pasta/ rice meals. If you are adding other ingredients such as chillies or garlic there is absolutely nothing wrong with this sauce, but i would recommend adding at least basil dried or fresh.

I think this is excellent value for money!
