My latest bargain is a tinted moisturizer by Stila which has a sun protection factor of 30. Stila is a premium brand that is not really known in Europe, but it is very popular in the United States. I got the tinted face cream for just a Quid in my local Poundland. The normal price is approx. 25 Pounds.
THE MOISTURIZER AND MY OPINION
Stila promises protection and care, without the greasy or shiny skin. Anyone who has ever tried to use a sunscreen under makeup, knows how important this information is.
Sun protection is important not only to prevent a sunburn. 80% of skin aging is caused by UV rays! Those who want to prevent wrinkles: you should not go out without UV protection, even in winter.
That's one of the reasons why I use this moisturizer almost erery day. I have the lightest shade, which works perfectly. The cream has a fairly thick texture but it blends in well.
I use this moisturizer under my Make-up and this works really well. My skin is moisturized and primed. I also have the feeling that my skin is less oily. I highly recommed this product for people who are looking for a moisturizer with a high SPF. It's perfect for the holiday, because it gives you light coverage and a natural look. I'm satisfied and rate this product with 4 stars.

I read about BB Creams on beauty blogs and magazines but I hesitated with a purchase, this was simply because I could not imagine a BB Cream really suits me. I decided to buy a Boots 17 BB Cream because it received plenty of positve reviews.
A Combination skin like mine is truly a blend of both dry and oily skin. I suffer from super oily T-Zone and a skin condition (Rosacea) that causes my skin to appear red and flushed all the time. Additioinally. the skin around my nose is dry and flaky. Even with a good covering makeup the redness of my skin is still visable. BB Creams are designed to eliminate all these problems and also have also nourishing properties. I chose the lightest shade and paid 7 Pound in my local Boots.
The BB Cream has the texture of a night cream. It's quite a thick cream so doesn't apply as smoothly as I'd like. The blending is therefore difficult. The packing is very user-friendly; it's in a squeezable, slim tube, so you can squeeze all of the product out. The drying time is quite long even after drying my skin feels sticky. Unfortunately even the lightest shade slightly oxides and turns orange. The coverage is quite good but doesn't last for a long time. I have the feeling like my skin is sweating and can't breath. Even when I applied powder my skin gets shiny and greasy throughout the day. The cream smells grumpily and is noticiable for a long time. I find that really unpleasant.
I can not really recommend it. Overall this product is good for people with healthy skin especially as it is quite cheap, however i do not recommend it for people who are looking for full coverage for a combination skin.
I rate this product with 2 stars.
This facial mask was a bargain, because it was sold in my local Poundland. I knew the brand Yes to Carrots from my US trip so I bought three masks at the same time. I have very oily skin, so my face is covered in breakouts and spots. I use Clinique since years so I expected a similar result.
Time to treat yourself. Totally treat yourself. To Tomatoes. Yes to Tomatoes Clearing Facial Mask is a total deep pore treatment that refines, purifies and even moisturizes your skin, while keeping your complexion clean, clear and balanced. Filled with potent anti-oxidants that fight free radicals, and bursting with powerful sebum (acne-causing oil) absorbers, you'll be tickled red with this tantalizing treat!
* 99% Natural
* Petroleum, SLS & Paraben Free
For: Combination to Oily Skin
I dont like the packaging, in my opinion it looks borning and I wont buy this for the original price. As mentioned above the mask contains 99% natural ingredients such as tomatoes, watermelon, avocado, and dead sea minerals. The mask smells really nice! I expected a tomato smell but the scent is a pleasant fresh scent. The mask has a grey color and is very thick. The aplication is a little bit difficult because it dries up very quickly, so you have to apply a very thick layer on your face. After the application the mask burns a lot. I've used the mask about 5 times now, unfortunately it makes my skin red and irritated especially on my cheek bones. Now I apply this mask only on my T-Zone and it works much better. The Yes to Tomatoes Skin Clearing mask is actually a good buy, because it leaves your skin very soft and clean but the application and my skin reaction are good reasons not to buy it again. After all Im disapointed so I rate this mask with three Dooyoo stars.
This lipgloss was included in my Glossybox, which I received one year ago.I didnt know the brand Illamasqua before, but I was really exited when I got an original sized product. Unfortunately, the color which I received is an orange-red. Illamasqua is well known for its unusual colors, I was lucky because other people got a black or green lipgloss. Anyway, I dont want to discuss the color just the quality. You can buy this lipgloss in many diffrent shades, the price is approx. 15 Pounds. It can be bought from Amazon, Ebay or on ther website.
THE PRODUCT AND MY OPINION
Illamasqua is a relatively unknown brand. Illamasqua produces high quality cosmetics that are very intense in their colors.
I rarely wear lip gloss, just because I dont like the sticky layer on my lips. The lip gloss has a very, very thick consistency. To apply it I have to squeeze the tube a little bit. The applicator is slightly beveled, but the application of lip gloss is pretty difficult. The applicator glides hard on the lips and through the thick consistency and intense color you have to be very careful when you apply it.
After application, the result looks pretty good. The lips are intensely colored and shiny. The color is long lasting, I would say at least 3 hours. However, the lipgloss feels quite sticky on the lips, this is something I do not like. I have tried around a bit and apply a lipstick on my lips before I apply the gloss. I really like this product, but it's certainly not for everyday use. I like the concept of Illamasqua and the good quality.
I rate this lipgloss with 4 Dooyoo stars.
Revlon is a brand which is not known on the German market. I never bought products of this brand before, the first contact with Revlon was when I lived in the US and I didnt like it at all. Some years later I gave this brand a second chance. I bought the Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain because I hoped this product is a dupe to the Clinique Chubby Stick which is quite expensive.
It's a balm fused with a lightweight lipstain in a chubby crayon. Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain gives softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush of color that lasts hour after hour. The gel formula comes in 12 shades. I chose for the shade Honey which is a light rosy shade. The original price is 8 Pounds and can be bought in every drugstore.
The application is really simple. Apply the stain to clean, bare lips. Build color and coverage as desired. Reaplly when needed.
The crayon makes the application very quick and easy. The texture is very soft and glossy but its not sticky. It feels like a balm on my lips it doesnt dry my lips out. I also like smell, it smells a lttle bit like peppermint - very fresh and clean. The colour is very pigmented and the texture is between a lip stick and a tinted lip balm. I really like the way that they feel on my lips. They leave just the right amount of color on my lips. It applies very easliy, keeps lips really hydrated and lasts for a long time. It lasted throughout the day even after drinking and eating. Im really happy with my choice and recommend this product. I definetely buy more shades because this is exactly what Ive been looking for a long time.
I was excited to try this after reading several reviews, but after trying it I was disappointed. I bought this concealer in my local Poundland, so I just paid 1 Pound for this concealer. Rimmel promises a perfect and easy coverage of dark circles and blemishes.
THE CONCEALER AND MY OPINION
The stick looks like a lipstick actually the usage is the same. The color is not perfect for me, because I have pretty fair skin. I bought this concealer in natural beige, but when I used it it turned into a terrible orange colour. It did nothing for my under-eye circles except accentuate the fact that they were there, as it settled into the lines. It also looked greasy after a while. This product look cakey on my skin I don't feel like it hides my blemishes at all.
My skin is very oily and this is maybe the reason why the concealer does not work on my skin. Both a small amount and a large amount failed in covering redness and blemishes; instead it just accentuated imperfections. It is quite creamy, but when you apply it, it instantly makes your fine lines more visible and draws more attention to dry pimples. Additoinally, the color sets quickly in my wrinkles. Im very disapointed with this product, the original price is 5 Pounds which is completely overpriced. It runs out very quickly even though i have only had it for 3 weeks and use it about 5 times a week it seems half has already gone.
I rate this concealer with 2 Dooyoo stars.

I'm still trying to educate myself in the usage of cosmetics. The older you get, the more you begin to accept your personal appearance. The market is currently inundated with cosmetic products it's really hard to keep track.
If I have learned one thing: buy less cosmetics and when you buy, you should you invest in the right products. An eye shadow that costs 5 euros but disappears after 1 hour is a waste of money.
I have made many comparisons before my purchase. I tested all kinds of brands before so I bought the eyeshadow palette from the brand Too Faced. I already use the foundation of this brand which has really convinced me.
I have green eyes. This is a plus point. The downside is that I unfortunately have drooping eyelids. For this reason, I'm in trouble with eyeshadows. Bright colors look cheap and with dark colors I look like a panda bear. I've noticed over the years that golden and brown shades look best on me. In addition, rosy gray tones are very good. Therefore, the eye shadow palette which you can see above is perfect for my needs. As you can see the box includes nine colours.
I like the combination of colors. The packaging looks a little bit cheap, it only consists of pressed cardboard. An applicator is not included, but that doesnt bother me. I get so much use out of this palette and the looks you can create are endless. The colours go well together, without producing muddy looks. Additionally, they blend well, without disappearing. You really have to try around a little, but the coverage is already good. I think I can use this palette about 3 years, if not longer.
The quality is outstandig, I have nothing to complain about. I rate this product with 5 stars!
To find the right foundation, is probably a life's work. At least for me, because whenever the color and coverage fits (best: Dermablend Vichy), it falls short of the lasting power. Currently I use a TooFaced foundation which Im quite happy with. A foundation that I bought ages ago was the Wonder Finish foundation by Jade. I have pretty fair skin, with a slight yellow tone. This makes my color really hard to describe. Either the foundation is too light or too dark. I have chosen the colour cameo.
AQUA; Isododecane; cyclopentasiloxane oxane, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Nylon-12, Butylene Glycol, Dimethicone Bis-PEG/PPG-14/14; PHENOXYETHANOL, MAGNESIUM SULFATE, C9-15 FLUOROALCOHOL PHOSPHATES; CHLORPHENESIN; METHYLPARABEN; TERTASODIUM EDTA , TRICLOSAN; BUTYPARABEN; TOCOPHEROL, Glycerin, SODIUM PCA, UREA; TREHALOSE; POLYQUATERNIUM-51, Sodium Hyaluronate (+ / - CL77891, CL 77492, CL 77491, CL 77499), FIL D4373 / 2
I cant recommend this foundation. The application is really annoying, for the reason that it is so runny. I used my finger to apply this foundation, but the foundation runs through my fingers and drops on my carpet. An application with a foundation brush is almost impossible. Thats a big minus! On the positive side I have to mention that it feels really light on your skin, its not flaky and it blends my skin perfectly. It also has a smooth powdery finish and a flawless coverage. My skin is very oily so the foundation doesnt last all day, but I already know this from other products. The coverage is light to medium, when you have skin imperfections this is not the right foundation for you. As far as I know this product has discontiuned, but it is still available on Amazon or Ebay. The price is approx. 5 Pounds. I rate the Wonder Finish Foundation with 3 stars there are much better products on the market.
I always love a bargain and when I discovered that Boots gave away a little bag filled with Boots products when you spend more than 15 Pounds, I had to buy it. In the bag there was also a free moisture drench lipstick. I not a fan of lipsticks but when I get one for free I will use it.
Boots promises a moisturising formulation that keeps your lips smooth and soft.
The lipstick is Hypo-allergenic and fragrance free and it has a SPF 15. It can be bought in more than 31 diffrent shades. The best choice you can find on the website.
The lipstick has a really simple packaging but the black colour looks very elegant. The application is quite easy because its very creamy. It goes on smooth and has really nice color pigment. The finish is satin but not glossy, I like this so I can wear this lipstick to an casual outfit.
These are good 'everyday' lipsticks, with an wide selection of shades. The lasting power is just like any other average lipstickalthough I think you would need a lip pencil as well. Unfortunately, they are not as moisturising as promised. For £9.50 the price is pretty high but when you got an £5 voucher the price is reasonable. Somehow Im not really impressed, the quality is really good but I dont like this feeling when I wear lipstick. I always feel uncomfortable with it, thats why I rate these lipsticks with four Dooyoo stars.
Phenyl trimethicone, C10-30 cholesterol/lanosterol esters, Hydrogenated polyisobutene, Cera microcristallina (Microcrystalline wax), Octyldodecanol, Polyethylene, Squalane, Ricinus communis (Castor) seed oil, Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, C18-36 acid glycol ester, Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Polybutene, VP/hexadecene copolymer, Butyrospermum parkii (Shea) butter, Tocopheryl acetate, Rosa moschata seed oil, Glycerin, Stearalkonium hectorite, Panthenol, Propylene carbonate, Sodium hyaluronate, Ceramide 3, BHT, Aqua (Water), Ascorbyl palmitate, [+/- (May contain) Mica, CI 77891 (Titanium dioxide), CI 77491 (Iron oxides), CI 15850 (Red 7 lake), CI 77499 (Iron oxides), CI 19140 (Yellow 5 lake), CI 15850 (Red 6), CI 75470 (Carmine).
This is award-winning complexion highlighter-dark circles, fine lines and signs of fatigue virtually disappear. It works with a so-called radiance-boosting Luminocaptide Complex, so your skin is instantly illuminated, so you look rested and refreshed. That is the promise but my personal experience is a little bit diffrent.
I bought this highlighter in my local Boots and I paid something like 30 Pounds for the pen. My reason for buying this is simple: I had a bad day and I wanted to treat myself with something special.
This is more a hightlighter than a concealer, if you looking for somthing which covers dark circles under the eye, this is not the right product for you. The highlighter comes in a pen which you can apply clicking the end of the pen. I chose the shade 2.5 which is the lightest shade. This shade works perfectly for me because I got quite pale skin. The highlighter is quite creamy and I can blend it with my fingers or a small brush. I covers small blemishes and my skin looks illuminated and healthy.
I also use this highlighter on my cheekbones and the top of my nose. I like this product but in my opinion it is completely overpriced. I got a similar product from Aldi which costs me 2 Pounds and gives me similar results. I wont buy this product again, its a nice thing to have but not a must-have in my beauty case. Be careful with offers on Ebay, as far as I know these products are not the original ones. I rate this highlighter with 4 stars.

In my opinion the eyes are the most important and most beautiful thing a person can have. I tried loads of mascaras in my life, cheap one and also premium brands. One mascara I still buy now and then, is a mascara from Maybelline.
Up to 6x the volume, clump free, smudge free. Contact Lens safe. Ophthalmologist tested.
Step 1: Sweep microfiber base-coat through lashes to visibly lengthen.
Step 2: Follow with microfiber topcoat to lock on super-intense color and up to 6x the volume. Removes easily with soap and water.
First I use one side with the white base coat, after that the other side with the black colour.
The colour is very intense and the white primes does add extra lengh. When you apply two coats it gives you volume and good defintion of your lashes. It defines my lashes quite well. What I really like is that is not super wet in the beginning and it doesnt flake. Removing is very easy especially with a good eye make up remover or facial soap.
Of course, I do not know all mascaras out there on the market, but this one is one of my favourites. I have been using this mascara for years. For me, this is an "everyday" mascara. It applies and comes off easily and gives extra darkening to my lashes. Unfortunately, this product is not sold in the stores anymore. If you are interested in trying this mascara you can find it on Amazon for under a Pound. I rate this mascara with 4 Dooyoo stars.
"A range of on trend shades to to suit any occasion. Apply the colour flawlessly with the new and improved brush and long lasting formula."
This is what you can read on the MUA website. I love bargains and I love nail polishes. I was always a little bit sceptical of cosmetics which cost just 1 or 2 Pounds. I couldn't believe that you can get good quality for such a low price. Few days ago I went to Super Drug, which sells its own cosmetic brand MUA (Make-up Acadamy). The prices for these cosmetics are really a bargain and for my nail polish I just paid 1 Pound.
The new design remindes me of the Essie nail polishes and look more expensive then they are. The colours were exacltly what I've been looking for so I chose the shade Amaretto Crush, which is a lovely dusty pink colour.
This is the first nail polish I have bought from MUA but I thought it was time I give them a try. You need definitely 2 coats of polish but the result is quite impressive. I don't like the brush because it isn't very smooth. The polish chips after 3 or 4 days with a goof top coat it lasts longer.
The polish is actually really good quality for £1. Of course you can't compare this to premium brands, but I think you get a good value for your money. This is why I rate this polish with five stars.
Thank you for reading :)
I would never go out of the house without mascara. I received this mascara as a free gift with purchase recently. I have really sensitive eyes, but I love having big lashes. Over the years, I have tried lots of other brands or drugstore lines, trying to save my money. In my opinion, mascaras from drugstores do a good job so I never spend more then 10 Pounds for this.
"Kicks up the volume and length of each and every lash for a look that's lusher, plusher, bolder. Pure, deep colour only adds to the impact. Wear it once and you'll feel naked without it. Ophthalmologist Tested"
How to use:
Start at the base of lashes and wiggle brush up to the tip of lashes, repeat twice. To apply to lower lashes, hold wand vertically.
It separates & thickens the lashes and makes your eyes standout. This mascara is certainly not one of the worst. It gives an intense color and the lashes look beautifully. The application is quite enjoyable. The brush is very slim and can easily reach the eye corners. This is a great mascara if you want natural looking dark eyelashes, but if you're like me and want lots of volume this is probably not for you. To be honest, I'm won't recommend this mascara. You can get better ones in a drugstore and 15 Pounds for a simple mascara is really expensive. Before you buy this product, you can order a tester (can be found on Ebay) to make sure this product works for you.
According to an analysis, 9 of the ingredients are not recommend, because they can cause allergies and could be harmful to health.

"Flawless is a big word, but this little bottle delivers. This gentle styler containing horse chestnut extract gives you a soft, flexible hold while sunflower wax gently moisturises. Knock 'em dead."
I've heard of Percy and Reed, but it's never been a brand which I followed. I got this free with an issue of Glamour Magazine two months ago. I was thinking why not to try it for 2 Pounds for an issue you can't do anything wrong. I always use a serum on my hair to tame the frizz caused by damage and lack of visits to the hairdressers.
HOW TO USE
Use a pea sized amount on hair to smooth, control or groom unruly hair. Use a little more to add definition and hold.
I really like the simplicity of the packaging and illustration. It's cute and contemporary without being cheesy. The consistency is really like that of a cream. It's white and thick and smells fresh and fruity. I put a small amount into my hands and then dispersed the cream in my hands and then smoothed it over my hair. I got very fine hair and this product gives a little bit more texture and hold.Since using the product I've also found my hair has been less tangled and dry at the end. The tiniest amount of this product goes a very long way and it has a delightful scent which last for days. This will last you forever as you need so little so very good value. But I must honestly say that I can not see any big difference to a normal day cream. I recommed this finishing polish for thick and/or curly hair. I won't buy this product again, because I know better products than this one. The full size Finishing Polish is £10.00 for 125ml, so spending £2.00 on Glamour for 100ml is well worth it.
This perfume was not created by Stella Mccartney herself it was by Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud. This Parfumeur has developed, among other perfumes, Ultraviolet Paco for Rabannne (great scent!). This perfume was launched in 2003, so it is a relatively young perfume on the market.
The fragrance pyramid is officially described as follows:
Top notes: mandarin, peony, rose essence
Heart notes: Rose
Base Notes: Amber
It is a very intense floral fragrance - very, very intense! A little splash is already sufficient for the whole day. Shortly after spraying the perfume smells very fresh, the fresh touch persists even after a long time. The tone is a little powdery and velvety. Overall, this scent is probably in the direction of rose but without an artificially or musty smell. The scent smells very elegant and is balanced in its composition. I can not remember a perfume that smells similar to this, maybe Love by Chloe but this fragrance has a very pungent note, which is completely absent here.
I recommend the fragrance for the spring and the summer. The target group is not entirely clear to classify, it suits everbody in every age. This is my all time favourite and I always get comments about how good it smells when I wear it.
30 ml costs approximately 30 Pounds.
