Having watched the entire compilation with my daughter recently, i thought this movie deserved a review from myself. The movie offers entertainment for the entire family and is so far from just targeting a young audience. To a certain extent it also offers an educational aspect. What was the Ice Age?
The movie Ice Age was released back in 2002 as an animated comedy drama using state of the art computer generated imagery (CGI).
It was directed by Chris Wedge whom also directed Robots in 2005.
With the Ice Age approching the creatures and animals of this era are trying to seek pastures new leaving there habitats of years all in the hope of escaping what is coming. All creatures except a few, whom have other priorities (A Human baby).
The main charachters consist of a Woolly Mammoth named Manny voiced by Ray Romano. Manny comes across as a grumpy creature, who is struggling to believe he could quite possibly be the last of his kind. Deep down Manny is very caring and compassionate. Often sarcastic and dry humoured.
A Giant Sloth named Sid voiced by John Leguizamo. Sid down to stupidity the majority of time, fights for his own survival and puts himself into risky situations on a daily basis. A very loveable and funny charachter.
A Saber Toothed Tiger called Diego voiced by Denis Leary. Diego will not be liked at first, however as the movie progresses he becomes a very loyal and faithful companion to Diego and Sid. Dry humour with some very funny scenes between him and Sid.
Throughout the movie there are Cameo appearences from a Saber Toothed Squirrel called Scrat, voiced by the director himself Chris Wedge. Scrat and his beloved nut create a few slapstick comedy scenes, pleasently breaking up the movie.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and so did my daughter, although it's been around for ten years now the CGI still competes with similer types of today. In my opinion possibly one of the better movies of this genre i have seen. My daughter loved the charachters in particular Diego not sure that was because she was scared of him at first and grew to like him but she remembered all the charachters very quickly as we progressed through the compilation.
You can pick this Movie up from as little as 99p to £3 including postage, as for the box set i bought mine for £21 from ASDA consisting of Ice Age 1-4 and the mammoth christmas.
Thank you for reading.
Shaving everyday is a necessity for my day to day job. This takes an horrendous toll on my face and often feels like im shaving an extra layer of skin off my face per day, this specifically worsens in the winter leaving me with dry skin and sometimes a small rash on my neck.
______Enter the product______
I came across Vaseline essential moisture in ASDA whilst i was looking for E45 cream. Which i previously used, due to this newly found product being on offer at £1 for 200ml, me being a tight Northener it had to be done. (Pocket before Vanity) I saved 39p as it is normally priced around £1.39, but every couple of months it returns as a roll back product at £1.
______Is it Any Good?______
As i previously stated i shave everyday and suffer, heightening during the winter months, after shaving i apply a small handfull on my face and neck. After applying, my face feels instantly better and signs of dry skin are immediatley quashed. My neck feels a cool relief immediatley with the shaving rash disappearing within an hour. The product is immensly effective on my skin.
Not only is it effective it smells nice to, without sounding Metrosexual.
______How long will my £1 last me______
Clearly dependent on application, i apply twice a day, once after shaving in the morning, and after showering in the evening, but only apply small amounts on my face and neck. My £1 lasted for two months, equating to £6 a year to combat dry skin.
This product works for me and may not for others, but for the cheap price i would highly recommend at least giving it a trial period.
*Wait for it to appear on Rollback, save 39p*
Thank you for reading,
I was bought this by my sister has a much needed christmas present, in the last two years i have gone through two external hard drives, some say i should look after them better? However i disagree and argue they should be built with a titanium case.
I would like to clear that this hard drive is not made out of titanium but that of plastic, like the majority of external hard drives. The plastic case allows the hard drive to remain light and very much portable, it has been finished with a rough efffect.
I was pleased with the performance of transfer time, from laptop to hard drive and vica versa. The hard drive managed to transfer a sustainable amount of data from my laptop in a reasonable time, faster than previous owned hard drives.
The hard drive can be picked up for a small fee ranging from £50-£70, which is a bargain. Although i feel slightly guilty for pricing a present received, it is for the greater good of my review.
This particular Hard drive holds a capacity of 750gb allegedly, normaly working out a little less, but in terms of translatable storage it can sustain 1 000 hours worth of video, alternativley 200 000 songs and a riduculous amount of pictures potentially over a million. All calculations are estimated, the figures provided may vary dependent on quality of video, sound and image.

This Play-doh set i bought for my daughter as a christmas stocking filler. It was advertised during one of the million Peppa Pig breaks and brought to my attention by the often heard plea of "Daddy I want one!" Sharply followed by "You will have to be good and see what santa brings." My daughter was behaved in her own way and low an behold Santa came up with the goods, along with at least another five childrens worth of presents.
The setting up of the ice cream shop is relatively easy, luckily. However the plastic parts that clip in allow for no errors and could easily be chipped. The instructions are straight forward and are sufficent.
The Play-Doh supplied is more than enough for the shop and the accessories provided such as the ice cream cones are efficient to make a few ice creams and allow for the dreaded mixed tubs of Play-Dog once finished. The set is fun and does offer a good value for fun created.
The downside to the Play-Doh set is the ice cream hand pump, which is fitted upon set up. The idea of the hand pump is:
Plastic ice cream cone placed at the bottom of the hand pump
Hand pump is raised revealing an hole
Play-Doh is pushed into this hole
*Hand pump depressed*
Play-Doh pushed through the pump
Giving the end effect of a nicely swirled ice cream, dropping into the plastic cone
Simple, i think not. Now depressing the hand pump takes about 13 stone of controlled aggression. My daughter could not and still can't do thid element of the shop.
First attempt i flipped the whole ice cream shop off the table, much to my daughters amusement.
Second attempt i held one hand on the base of the shop then depressed, an ice cream was made.
In summary, it is fun and my daughter does love it, but cant really use all the ice cream shop unsupervised. The unpractical element to the set is an annoyance and could be a factor for not buying. I would still buy it again even knowing what i do, because fun can still be had.
Having grown up in Castleford, West Yorkshire. There was and still is only one code for the sport of Rugby, this being Rugby League. Soon as i could take my first few steps, i recall my Father a life long fanatical rugby league fan and amateur player carrying me on his shoulders down to watch the games.
Castleford Tigers are a professional rugby league team, they play there home games at the Probiz Colliseum named after their sponser Probiz however it is the same stadium they were in when it was known as Wheldon road, or more recenttly the Jungle. The Probiz Colliseum as it is now known can hold a maximum of 11,750 people, however they average around 6000-8000.
________History & Background_________
Castleford are affectionatly known by the locals as "ClassyCas" or "The Tigers"
The Castleford Tigers take part in a european franchised league called The Super League, the european factor being that there is a French based team included in the league the being the Catalans from the south of France.
In June 1926 Castleford rugby league football club were formed, back then they played in a predominant yorkshire team based league, gaining honours when thet won this league in 1932. Then going on to winning there first ever Challange cup in 1935.
Castleford were beaten Championship finalists in 1938-39. Cas dropped out of the wartime Yorkshire league in 1942-3 and did not return to league competition until 1944-5
The official attendance for a second round Challenge Cup match in 1967 against Hull KR was 22,582 but a reported 8,000 people got in without paying.
Castleford were again beaten Championship finalists in 1968-69, when they suffered a late defeat to arch-rivals Leeds.
The legendary half-back pairing of Alan Hardisty and Keith Hepworth inspired the club to back-to-back Challenge Cup triumphs in 1969 ( v Salford) and 1970 ( v Wigan). Castleford's 7-2 victory over Wigan in the 1970 Challenge Cup Final is the joint lowest winning score at Wembley, along with Salford's 7-4 victory over Barrow in the 1938 Challenge Cup Final.
From the introduction of two divisions in 1973 until the Super League era Castleford were one of a handful of clubs to have constantly remained in the top division of British rugby league.
In 1983/84 Castleford were beaten 18-10 by Hull Kingston Rovers in the Divisional Premiership final at Headingley.
Castleford made it to the final of the 1988 Yorkshire Cup but were beaten 33-12 by Leeds at Elland Road.
They were the leading club in Yorkshire in the early 1990s, finishing in the top four of the Championship no less than four times during this period.
Castleford added 'Tigers' to their name for the 1992/93 season.
John Joyner took up the reins as head coach in May 1993. The highlight of the early 1990s was in 1994 when Castleford defeated Wigan to claim the Regal Trophy at Headingley in a 33-2 victory. They were semi-finalists in the Challenge Cup and were also narrowly defeated in the Premiership final. At the end of that campaign Joyner was named as the Coach of the Year
______ Enter The Franchise______
The introduction of super league back in 1996 saw the change drastically in my eyes. First and foremost they change the dates from the season starting to when the season would end, this killing off winter rugby and welcoming the all new summer rugby, bye bye tradition.
Another Drastic change was, that they would cut the amount of teams who participated in the top league down to 12, the financially challanged teams would drop down a division, this created quite the conflict. Cas were not the most financially stable club but with a great deal of struggling and financial juggling, managed to avoid the drop.
All in all the financially stable clubs benefitted from the change as super league offered higher revenues per annum to the selected. The remainder who did not reach the financial stature required by super league's rules wittled away into lower division rugby league. The tigers initially struggled during the initial seasons and were relegated, only to bounce back and gaining promotion back into the super league the following season.
_____More recent times______
The Tigers of late have openly admitted financial difficulty and require the fan base to support them at games and help boost attendance, but with a poor performance from the 2012 season fans will have to be shown the club will offer a more commited performance.
Over the last couple of seasons the team have struggled with the competition within the league, however have managed to remain in the top flight. Castleford have made 8 signings over the 2013 Pre-season in order to compete for a top eight place, however lack depth to deal with injury
With the sport of Rugby League not being as widespread as your major sports in the UK such as football. Local derbies for the Tigers could involve six teams. So a derby of sorts is not inparticuler based so much on locality and geared more on history but is of coincidence that the club is geographically 10 miles apart.
The Leeds Rhinos are our biggest rivals and have been for the last 50 years, luckily we tend to be there "bogey" team and they do struggle aganst, they are one of the better financially secure teams in super league and play there home games in headingley, Leeds.
The atmosphere at the games against these two clubs is fantastic and boasts alot of banter in the form of crowd chanting, this is the one game that the Castleford home stadium the Probiz is a guaranteed sell out.
Games at the Probiz boast family entertainment throughout all for the measily price of:
Adult seated - £21
Adult standing - £18
Concession seated - £13
Concession standing - £10
Junior seated - £13
Junior standing - £10
New to 2013 is the membership scheme, all details of this can be found at the The Castleford Tigers website provided in the references section of this review.
The sport of rugby league and especially at Castleford is promoted for families and is predominantly family orientated around the sport.
Overall i believe it is a brilliant sport, having grown up with it i appreciate my opinion is of a biased nature and i do appreciate not all will agree, but if you are ever in this neck of the woods, give it a try, you never know you may come to love it.

My daughter is now 16 months old, I purchased this pram when she was 6 months and have it now as an emergency pram, along with the chairs and a small table. The reason I purchased it was for the reason that it was lightweight compared to the Gracco, I had from new born.
Adjustable handlebars: No
Suitable from: Birth
Changing bag included: No
Dimensions: H107 x W80 x L105cm
Dimensions (folded): L106 x W32 x D24cm
Free standing when folded: No
Handle height: H107cm
Harness type: 5 point harness
Included: Raincover, shopping basket
Lockable swivel wheels: Yes
Number of wheels: 8
Removable wheels: No
Type of wheels: Plastic
Washing instructions: Sponge clean
From new to buy a Silver cross pop stroller it will cost you around £80-£130, £80 being the cheapest from Toys R Us.
WHATS IT LIKE THEN?
The stroller is so lightweight and the manoeuvrability is brilliant, my wife loved the fact that it turned on a sixpence, to quote a phrase. From my experience there is nothing worse than going shopping in stores such as Primark or Peacocks that are tight and you're struggling to turn the pram whilst trying not to hit clothes rails. Due to the fact of it having eight wheels it makes turning so easy it's actually a joy to push. Cleaning is pretty easy but by method of a bucket of soapy water and a sponge. The rain cover which comes with the stroller is a bit of a nightmare to attach the first few times but once your used to it relatively easy. One of the better things I love about this one and is it's so easy to fold down and fold back up, no more wrestling in Tesco's car park trying to get a pram in the boot.
SO IT TURNS EASY, IS IT COMFORTABLE?
Having not sat in the chair I can only estimate. My daughter has never seemed at discomfort in this pram, due its suspension the pram does move quite a bit over rough terrain which has disturbed my daughter sleeping but every pram I've had up to date has been that way. The pram does come with a foot muff but they can be bought separate.
With the stroller being so lightweight I thought it would not last that long, so I put it to the ultimate test when I took it with me on a family holiday to Turkey. Now if you have not visited Turkey the roads are terrible, the curbs have sheer drops, and the pavement is very uneven. So yes, like most holiday resorts. The stroller did take some minor cosmetic damage, such as scratches and a few dints in the wheels, also the suspension took some hammer but did survive. The material did fade slightly due to the heat.
Naturally close to every parents hearts is the factor of safety. The stroller is fitted with a two way brake attached to the rear wheels, the brakes are applied by a foot pedal at the bottom rear of the pram. I can confirm that the brakes are effective and are easy to put on and take off.
Also fitted to the stroller is the safety harness, to keep your little ray of sunshine from harms way or escaping. The harness fits over the arms and fastens to a anchor buckle that comes through the legs, it is a generic mechanism and i have seen it similer on other prams. The harness is easy to use and easy to adjust, thankfully.
I would highly recommend this pram for the reasons of its practicality, durability and for the simple fact that it's relatively cheap, compared to the price of a Quinny which has the same turning circle has the QE2.

127 hours was released 2010, to be honest i had never heard of this true life story. The story of Aron Ralston, a rock climbing outdoor lover from America. On one of his outdoor breaks he got himself stuck in a cranny of a rock face for 127 hours. Prior to the release of this film, friends of mine had been and watched this at the cinema, they said it was really intense, you should go and watch it. Im really not one for intense films but due to curiosity and the love for film, i went and watched it.
Very intense adventure, drama.
THE PLOT (no intentional spoiler)
Aron Ralston played by James Franco can only be described as an outdoor adrenaline junkie. Every weekend Aron has spare from his job as a sales assistanr in a outdoor activity store he goes off to the desert like canyons outside the city. There he enjoys mountain biking and rock climbing, this is percieved as his release from city life. The film shows flash backs to his childhood and he and his father used to visit alot, it seems like a second home to him, his knowledge of the the area is second to none.
Then one weekend whilst visiting his second home, he endures the adventure of a life time. Whilst mountain biking and hiking across the canyon, he comes across two females who have no knowledge of the area and are looking for a certain rock canyon. Aron knowing the area like the back of his hand offers to help them. Finding the rock face via a mini adventure, he departs from their company. Aron check his watch and sees dark is falling, now rushing against time, he decides to get back to his truck, he takes a shortcut. Taking this shortcut he his familier with he cuts through a tight cranny between two rock faces and with a misfortunate stumble he falls into this cranny, a loose boulder then falls onto his arm trapping him in this cranny. A misfortunate turn of events.
The above is the first 25 minutes of a 97 minute long film.
Having googled all about Aron and 127 hours prior to attending the cinema i knew this was going to be along hour and a bit.
As you can probably work out he his now stuck in the cranny with a boulder crushing his right arm, for 127 hours. The remainder of the film i thought, was saved by the brilliant Danny Boyle's directing. James Franco whom plays Aron acted well in all fairness.
A very intense film, the start was really good but having known what was going to happen i found myself just waiting. When the incident happened i thought well here we are i have over an hour left, which was frustrating. Watching throughout i thought i cant wait for this to end but when it did, i thought that wasnt that bad actually. It is worth a watch for the fact that it is based on a real life story, and the majority of events however exaggerated did take place. Danny Boyle did wonders on a plot that without being disrespectful was quite boring.
3/5 The directing saved it from a two in my prospective
Aron Ralston's story can be found on Wikipedia.

This was the first ever film i watched featuring Adam Sandler in, it did not disappoint. For the very cheap price of £2.99 its well worth 89 minutes of anybodys precious time. The film although not massive was produced by Universal Studios and made around 25 million dollars which is better than i would of guessed at.
A very childish comedy, which suited/suits me down to the ground.
THE PLOT (no intentional spoiler)
Billy Madison (Sandler) his the son to a billionaire hotel tycoon, at the age of 27 he spends most of his day hanging around the pool drunk with his friends, going nowhere fast. When his billionaire father hosts a business dinner at their mansion, he announces his retirement and that one of his weasely subordinates will run the business not Billy.
Upon hearing this news Billy reacts badly and tells his dad of his displeasure, his father replies he his not academically efficiant to manage the business and states that whilst Billy only graduated through both primary and secondry education due to his wallet.
Billy then strikes a deal with his father declaring that he could pass through every grade two weeks at a time...................................................Let the childish fun commence.
By no means was any acting worthy of the golden globes, Adam Sandler did recieve MTV best comedic award for this movie. Adam Sandler pulls off an idiotic 27 year old sublimely. His performance was very similer to other such roles as i have seen in Bulletproof and Overboard. There is also a pleasent but extremely bizarre appearance from the legend that is Steve Buscemi. Steve plays a small part appearing in no more than two scenes.
A very immature film which i found highly amusing and would highly recommend it, if you are a fan of Adam Sandler then you will definitley like it.
Hope you found this helpful

Playing sunday football is no easy task, especially after a hard night on the drink. I swear by this product even when it costs me an arm and a leg.
Comes in a tall squeezable plastic bottle, with an easy grip shape to it. The bottle top is a shut off cap easy to place down when you have finished, preventing you from spilling the expensive product. The bottle is very hardy and versatile.
Really nice refreshing taste, i would describe it somwhere in the between of Sunny D (California) and Squash.
Yeah the price coming in from around £1.85 for 500ml the product is a bit on the expensive side, however if you multibuy a pack of 12 will cut the price per bottle down to around £1
Does it help your performance? Well containing quite a substansial amount of caffeine the product does aid your stamina, the product would be most suitable for endurance type sports. I can confirm this product definitley does not help for the hangover. It does however help the mentality, if you are of the attitude ive just had some lucozade sport i can do more.
I hands down love this product, taste, appearance the whole package. Due to the versatile nature of the bottles shape it is easy to take anywhere i have read cyclistls swear by this.
Hpoe you find this helful, thanks for reading.
Last year i returned from an operational tour of Aghanistan, whilst serving there the one comfort i had was my WD 500gb wireless hard drive containing films, music, pictures etc. Basically this only had a short life over there lasting 3 months much to my despair. When i got back i thought its time to replace this so off i went to my local PC World wearing my jeans and hoody..........
I walked into the store with a toys R us bag (i had to treat my daughter whilst out) soon as i went through the sliding doors i felt like i was being followed and surely enough i had a big Polish security guard following me around, which made me feel instantly uncomfortable and guilty even though ive never stole in my life, as i was looking at the external hard drives, i had two beady eyes still watching me, i thought ....... this im going somewhere else.
I got to the exit, as i was walking through the sliding doors, i heard a polish voice say "Whats in the bag?" i replied "Are you ........ kidding me, its a toy for my daughter?" he then said "Let me have a look?" so i showed him furiously.vI then said this is a discrace! I want to speak to your manager, the manager came and basically fobbed me off saying "its policy blah blah blah." "we have had a lot of theft over the last six months." He didnt say sorry for the misunderstanding or anything. I was so annoyed ive never returned.
If anyone has any advice for me to take it further please let me know, still annoyed typing it. However my wife found it amusing.
Customer service 0/10
The greatest managerial game hits the handheld format yet again. I would personally nominate this game, as a divorce statistic, up there with affairs.
The highly addictive game shows new features such as player agent negotiation. This will see you negotiating with a players agent rather than the player direct. I feel that it does make the game more realistic, however this key new feature can be rather frustrating at times. due to agents being money grabbing ............... fill in the blank as, you feel necessary.
Another new feature called match preperation enables you to develop your players understanding of your curent match tactics, this will effect your players workload coincides with training.
This years edition sports a larger database of players, competitions and teams. I believe with this edition PSP have maxed out with one UMD Cartridge and if they were to improve it would require another UMD disc, so it will be like playing an Amiga 1200 (floppy discs all over the place)
So, to the leading question. "Why should i buy this for the PSP? I already have it for the PC?" This being the question i was asking myself when i bought it. Previous versions of the football manager handheld franchise have shown me as well as many others that in comparison to the PC, it is very basic and lacks the addiction factor that we know and love.
I have two main reasons for buying this game on PSP and for these reasons would recommend the product.
My main reason for buying this game was, due to the lack of addiction it delivers it is far more easy to play for a couple of games, save, put down. This saves you from the wrath of your other half, which in the past i have found unavoidable with the PC version.
My second reason was due to the size and portability of the PSP it is ideal for "planes, trains and automobiles" to quote a phrase. Its absolutly ideal to take on holiday with you. Just imagine sat sunbathing somewhere tropical with a nice cold beer and beside you, your trustworthy companion Football Manager.
If you want more information on this product there is a dedicated website specific for Football Manager 2011 (PSP). The wonderful Google will assist you locating this.
Thanks for reading and hope you find it helpful
November 2010 saw the release of the most likely game to get you divorced, being the most sought after football managerial game since Eidos and Sports interactive worked together and produced the legendary Championship Manager 97/98.
Football Manager 2011 is as addictive if not more than the 2010 edition to the franchise. In all honesty there aint to many new features. The features we did see in 2010 are the same this edition but updated.
One of the biggest and best new features is the all new agent negotiations. Sports Interactive have worked hard on this new feature in order to add more realism into the equation when signing players. I believe realism as been added by this feature as in real life you would deal with a players agent directly. The feature is fun but can be extremly frustrating as agents are money grabbing ................. Fill in the blank.
Patches are out there yet again, to current date the third patch as just been released. Patches are out there in order to fix bugs with the game. Patches are available for free, from numerous sites, just type football manager 2011 patch into google, this will return plenty of trusted websites to download from.
Football fans this game is definatley worth its pittance of a price tag.
Hope you find this review useful, hope you enjoy the most superior managerial game on gods green earth!!!!!!!!!!!
Labelled as an Action/Drama this film stars Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie.
A genuine attempt at an action/drama. I found the attempt was intervened by humorous punchlines and comedic acting, resulting in the film being more geared towards a romantic comedy.
The Movie, set in Paris and Venice gives a romantic backdrop throughout. I quite liked the scenery although watching this, i had "Wayne, that would be a nice place to visit, wouldnt it?"
PLOT IN GENERAL (No intentional spoiler)
Frank (Depp) plays an American tourist visiting the city Venice. On route to Venice by train he meets the mysterious Elise (Jolie). Elise is being closely monitered by INTERPOL and Scotland yard from the start. This meeting is not by any coincidence. On arrival to the city the pair find their lives become entwined, leading to Frank being monitered by these agencies. A small group of villians also become very interested in Frank due to the his acquaintance with Elise. The film then turns into a rather amusing cat and mouse chase around Venice, Goodies > Baddies > Frank > Elise is the pecking order. There is a romantic chemisty between Frank and Elise from their initial meet. Overall a compelling plot with a couple of twists.
I really enjoyed the acting, Mr Depp is in a league of his own and easily shakes off the charachters from Tim Burton off. It was good too see him in a kind of normal role.
Angelina Jolie was good, but i feel she was well within her acting comfort zone throughout the movie. Her similer films to this role have been Salt more recent and Tombraider in the past.
I would highly recommend this film as one to watch. Its a definate film to have with a takeway if you dont fancy a night on the tiles, on ending it delivers a feel good factor. I dont think i would watch it again, once was good enough for me.
Very unlikely, i doubt it would be as successful second time around, the plot is left open though.
Hope you find this useful and hope it helps make up your mind on purchasing.
