My partner works long hours, and often he only sees me for an hour a day and sadly rarely sees our lovely little son during the week. He thought it would be great fun to keep in touch via the Kodak PULSE Digital Frame which enables him to email photos which then spontaneously appear for myself and our son to see! This has resulted in great hilarity where he has photographed his lunch or a comical sign that he spots during his day, and has certainly led to us feeling more connected. It is also wonderful to have photos of family members appear to remind our son of them, particularly if there are some abroad whom he rarely sees. Setting up was very straight forward, and once we got to grips with emailing photos (and were a little patient while waiting for them to appear) we were sorted. The online touch display is also very easy to use so if you get bored of seeing photos of Great Auntie Violet on her cruise holiday, it's easy to delete with a simple touch of the screen.
The Bumbo baby seat was suggested to us by a friend, who mentioned that it was fab for when your baby can't quite sit up on their own yet. Indeed we found it invaluable as high chairs often don't provide enough support for children as little as 6 months. We did baby led weaning with our little one which meant that we provide small steamed bits of veg and left him to explore, play and potentially eat his food. In this sense Bumbo was great as it kept him securely seated. After a few months we did find his chubby thighs wouldn't quite fit, or rather it was a little tricky to squeeze him into the seat so chubby babies many have this problem. Also the plastic table that we purchased was unfortunately incredibly awkward to use (i.e. remove) so we had a few hilarious moments trying to lift him out (with the table attached to the Bumbo) meanwhile everything came with him as he was stuck! Poor little thing. Still, we are glad we bought it and it's still in top condition so we will be able to use it for all future family members too! Also we were disappointed with the choice of colours (pink or blue) and would love to see green in the future!
Yes, I admit, I have neglected my lovely patch of wilderness of late, otherwise known as my garden. As we don't have a shed and would have nowhere to store a lawn mower my only option was to purchase a trimmer. I had attempted hacking with shears but as anyone knows, this is backbreaking work. So after lengthy research I finally settled on the Qualcast Trimmer. With a little help from my father-in-law in putting it together (it seems simple enough but I know men enjoy these things!) I was finally ready to tackle the knee high grass in my garden that had been steadily threatening to exacerbate hay fever for all across the whole of South London! I've never used a trimmer before and although it was rather heavy I soon got down to business and am pleased to report my garden is now usable again, grass mowed and now I just have to find somewhere to store a rake!
In our household we have a wide range of skin types and it has taken a little while to settle on the right product but finally we have. This shower gel smells great and feels natural and as mentioned we have a range of conditions in our household including psoriasis and dry skin and this shower gel wins hands down. It cleans very effectively, smells fresh and feels more natural than many other chemical ridden products available. It also works very well as a shaving foam when shaving legs. We also have a young child and if we were to run out of his bath wash I would have no qualms about using a small amount of this shower gel to clean him. My partner's psoriasis has not returned and many other shower gels in the past have caused me to have very dry skin on my legs but since using Sanex shower gel this has not been a problem.
I purchased the Pixma MP450 several years ago and it's still going strong. I have used it extensively for work and have always the image to be bright and sharp. I have used the printer to align DVD and CD labels which can often be tricky with other printers but once you get to grips with the paper adjuster device you can easily print several sheets which will all be accurately aligned. I have also used the printer for scanning and the digital display is easy to use and clear. It is a little tricky to change the ink, but this might just be a quirk of my particular device (as I mentioned I have had it a while). I think it a good sturdy hard-wearing printer and a really good all rounder as it has a printer/scanner and camera memory cards can also be used to print from. Did I mention I have also used it for home photocopying too!
