Tesco - Every Little Helps or so they say. I seem to spend a load in there every time, but am sometimes disappointed in the value I am really getting. I like the fact I can park right outside, and browse at my leisure a huge variety of products. We have a new superstore nearby, and I do mostly have a reasonably good experience there. We had a small Tesco express until recently. If you bought a sandwich early am you had to pay for it by one of those awful automated machines. Personally, I prefer to have a human take my money and feel those machines are awful. One day I was told I had to use the automatic payment machine and I could not buy my sandwich at the tobacco kiosk (even though the lady was not serving anyone) neither could I queue up at the one open "manned" till because that was for people with trolleys. Needless to say, I left my sandwich inside Tesco and went elsewhere.
I do a lot of my shopping with TEsco online. I find this service mainly good, but sometimes the packing leaves a lot to be desired. Sometimes there are a lot of products out of stock too and no substitution made or offered. I like the prices in Tesco but I do think you get what you pay for. I like and use quite a few Value products. Tesco Finest flowers are great quality as are many of the finest products.
I loved this product. I bought it on special offer for my holiday last year and have been buying it ever since. The smell is gorgeous. Smelled floral but also perfumed and exotic too. I generally like Radox products anyway and find them good quality and good value. I put a splash of product on one of those scrunchy things and jumped in the shower. It made a wonderfully rich and creamy lather very quickly and it felt like a much more expensive product. I sometimes find shower gels make my skin itchy and dry afterwards, but this one does not affect me like that. When I got out of the shower I felt I smelled really nice. The only downside is that you could not use your favourite perfume straight afterwards as the perfume in this product is quite strong. I have used other Radox shower gels, but this is definitely my favourite.
Whiskas Temptations - a brilliant product which all four of my cats enjoy. We always buy these as treats. At Christmas, we make up a gift bag of varying things including Whiskas Temptations in all three flavours. The cats know by the shape of the pot what they are and will arrive en mass when I shake the box. The favorite flavour amongst our cats is the Beef one. Second favourite is chicken and cheese. Tchrhe little biscuity morsels seem crunchy on the outside and moist and chewy inside. You can really hear the cats crunching and munching and then they queue up for more. The only problem is, when you open the pot, they want all of them and we even had one cat trying to open the pot himself to get more. They are very much a treat and not an every day thing in our house. I would put them in the top few products the cats enjoy.
I have four cats of varying ages between 2-5 years. Of all the brands of cat food we have tried, we go back again and again to Whiskas pouches. When you open them, they smell quite nice and fresh and the cats almost always eat them. This is the top product as far as I am concerned. We try new things, but seem to go back to Whiskas. I always buy Whiskas in Jelly, either fish or meat. However, I think that the meaty ones in jelly are the cats' favourites. One of my cats will only eat Whiskas chicken, rabbit or lamb in jelly and maybe an occasional tuna in jelly. At about £3.50 a box, Whiskas in jelly represents good value for us, as there is little waste. We put down four flavours each meal, and the cats will eat a bit, then swap bowls, as if they are really enjoying the different flavours. I have tried them with the Whiskas in gravy pouches, and tins of various things, but my cats do not seem very keen on these.
I have four cats varying in age from 2-5. All four cats love IAMS Proactive complete dry food, which I cannot honestly say for other products. Therefore, buying a bag of IAMS proves good value for us, as it seems to serve their differing needs. One cat eats almost all dry cat food, whilst others prefer to have wet food and have the IAMS as a snack in addition. We tend to get the 1Kg bag, and vary the flavour. We also keep the product in an airtight container, as we have found otherwise you really have to wrap the bag up tight otherwise it can seem to go a bit stale, and the cats are less interested in it. Clearly, I cannot ask the cats which flavours they prefer, but I would say Chicken and the ones with fish and chicken combined get eaten the quickest. Since we have been using IAMS, it seems the cats hunger is more satisfied and they are less likely to pester for more food. Sophie will certainly let us know when the bowl is empty.
