I bought this MP3 player because it had a high capacity and was at a low price on amazon.co.uk. When i received the item i found it was well packaged in a cardboard box then turned it on and was promptly greeted by a regional choice screen i selected 'Europe' then i transferred some mp3s from my PC (very easy drag and drop) and started listening. i was then very disappointed and surprised to find the level of sound very low. i did a quick Google and found the solution instantly. All i did was reset the player through the on screen menu and selected 'rest of the world'. This stops the volume being limited by the EU. I paired the mp3 player with JVC HAFX1X Xtreme Xplosives in Ear Canal Headphones. The sound output then is amazing, crystal clear and very loud even at half volume. The player stopped working after i used it in a damp pocket but recovered after i dried it out so i wouldn't recommend this for outdoor use. i have used it most days on the bus and found it very easy to use and lightweight this has lead to me having fears that it might be crushed because it is just plastic but it has head up very well so far (2 months) .
The player has a microSD slot so the memory can be expanded to fit a huge number of songs (32GB). The battery last several days and is recharged via a USB port but no wall charger is supplied.
These headphones where the cheapest ones made by a reputable maker that I could find. They are off the scale in value terms if I had paid £50 for these I wouldn't have been disappointed. The sound is very good extremely good for this price. They are excellent for playing games like cod 4 as you can hear people creeping around in fact my k/d ratio has jumped. Mp3s sound good and I have attached them to my phone but the downside of this is that the cord is very long so you need to make or buy something to wrap it around. The build quality is excellent and they are able to adjust to suit any sized head. The connector is gold plated to prevent loss of sound quality and you also get a 3.5mm to 6.3mm adaptor so you can use them of older stereos. I will be using these headphones for a while to come even if they do stop working (which I doubt) they have a two year guarantee.
This is one of the best games I have ever played. The graphics are absolutely amazing unlike anything you can get on consoles like the Xbox 360. You play as the character nomad part of an elite us Special Forces unit. The unit is aided by the nano suit. The nano suit has four modes which are basically like superpowers that use the suits energy armor, speed, strength and cloak. You can also modify your weapon depending on the way you play the game. Single player is fun and a reasonable length with different missions that allow you to utilize vehicles like tanks trucks and VTOLs. Multiplayer has two modes; instant action (like a cod free for all with the nano suit) and power struggle where you earn points to buy new weapons and vehicles and eventually destroy the enemy base using a super weapon (tactical nuke)
A word of advice; to run this game at a playable frame rate at high or ultra settings you will need a good graphics card or wait until March for crysis 2 to come out.
This mouse is great. It has a sleek body that fits into the largest hands. The mouse points effortlessly with it high dpi setting and works on most surfaces because it uses a laser not a ball or a light. This means it does not require a mouse mat. The battery life is good but no great Logitech state that the supplied batteries will last a year but mine only lasted 6 months. the mouse does not require any drivers to work , you simply plug in the tiny nano receiver into a spare usb port than the instantly starts to work this mouse is ideal for travel because the nano receiver can be stored inside the shell of the mouse in a specially made compartment. The mouse is good enough for gaming but the lack of extra buttons makes it poor for first person shooter games. I would recommend this mouse for the traveler or the general computer user , but not the gamer .
This game is an excellent addition to the call of duty series. Unlike modern warfare 2 this game allows up to 64 players in each game (although most games are limited because of lag problems) the range of guns is varied and there killing power evenly matched although some are more evenly matched than others. There are some problems with hackers online but most games have a server admin who you can contact to get the hackers ip address banned. The level system goes up to level 55 after that you stop leveling up. Points are earned by killing players and completing games on ranked matches. You also get xp in certain game modes such as domination when you capture the flag. Perks are another important aspect of the game. You get one to chose from each of the three sets of ten. Choosing the correct perks can mean the difference between a good player and a bad player .
This cameras video quality is very good alought the sound is not the best the main reason i bought the video camera of amazon was that i needed it for filming my GCSE canoeing and mountain biking it was reduced from £150 to £50. it takes up to 32gb sd cards so i bought an 8gb card for £10. the is a tiny amount of internal memory but it is only enough for 10 seconds of record time in hd mode. the camera has 4 modes; 5 mp picture, vga, 720 hd and 720hd 60 fps (frames per second , useful for slow mo shots) . the files are saved in a format which you have to convert in order to use with windows media player but can be uploaded directy to youtube. the camera does not have optical zoom so you have to get in close. the low light performance is also very poor ; it makes the picture very grainy
This device is very heavy and bulky which can get annoying if you are carring it around in your pocket all day its features include a 3.2 megapixel camera (very good) mp3 player (good alough the included headphones are rubbis ,get some new ones) video player (very poor) 3g internet and tv and all the usual gagets that are included in most mobile phones. the screen is large and easy to read but the keypad is a not spaced well out the the phone also has a camera on the front which is used for video calling alought i have yet to use this feature i imagine that it is much better than the main camera for this purpus. the speaker quality is good and the start ? end call button are hard to press accidentaly the navigation key in the middle of the keypad is nice to use and responsive
I bought this laptop because of its graphics card. At my £500 price point the 512 mb 7950 was the very best i could get. i purchased it refurbished at ndc.co.uk who gave me a one year return to base warranty , drivers cd, open office cd but no manual ,wifi N upgrade and an upgraded nine cell battery. The laptops 2.16 GHz Centrion duo core processer is faster than my main desktops processer. The laptop came with 3 GB of RAM (upgradable to 4 GB) and a 320 GB 5400 rpm hard drive. gaming performance is great crysis plays well on medium and all right on high cod4 is superb as you would expect of maximum settings and so is medieval 2 total war. The laptop looks great and has lots of different colors of lighting which flash to music when it is played with windows media player. You can also turn all the lights on or off using dell xps lights fx.
overall i would thoughly reccomend this laptop or its updated versions to any casual gamer
