Being a HUGE Kelly Clarkson fan, I am slightly biased. However, this is one of her best albums to date.
The overall tone of the album is rock/pop, with the majority of tracks upbeat, with a few slower numbers thrown into the mix, such as Sober, Maybe, Be Still, and Irvine.
Songs you will find yourself playing over and over are: Never Again, One Minute, Hole, Sober, Maybe and Be Still. Having seen her perform tracks from this album live during her tour, it just reaffirmed how talented she is and what great tracks these are!
If you liked her previous album Breakaway, you will love this. If you aren't familiar with Kelly's work, she could be compared to the likes of Pink with a slightly softer side, the passion of Christina Aguilera but with slightly less power, or more latterly The Veronicas.
This is a great prequel to her latest album All I Ever Wanted.
If my cats could write a review about Webbox Cats Delight Sticks, I think this is what they would say:
"Yum! These treats are to die for! I just can't get enough of them! Don't they make LARGER packs!?!"
I tend to use these as a special twice a week treat. They are moist, without being sticky and are easy to break into chunks. I tend to break them up into smaller bits and throw them for my 4 cats, who go absolutely mad for them. Cats being cats have the treats they like and the treats they will eat only if there is nothing better around. Having 4 cats means in the past I have had to get out 2-3 different types of treats to please them all in one go. These, however, are definitely a favourite of all my furry beasts. The only thing I have found is that if they have too many it gives some of them a slightly upset stomach.
Having enjoyed every one of Matthew Perry's films, this for me was a must see. I was a little concerned that this would just be another wannabe "Big" or "Vice Versa" movie. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Although Matthew Perry's involvement in the film was fairly limited, I was extremely impressed with Zac Efron's acting in this film, who I hadn't rated particularly highly in the past.
The film is about a guy who isn't happy with the way his life has turned out, but gets a second chance to re-live his teenage years. The storyline kept me wanting to know more and there were a few unexpected twists and turns, although the ending was a little predictable.
This film is a great choice for older children and adults alike. A feel good film with some witty humour thrown in for good measure. If you liked 13 going on 30 you will enjoy this.
This has to be my number one film for the last two years. I started watching it expecting some humour and a film I didn't have to think about. It didn't disappoint and it completely exceeded my expectations!
From start to finish I laughed - and I mean proper belly laughed, which doesn't happen very often in films. The way the story panned out was extremely clever and each part left you hanging, asking yourself "how did that happen?" and "what's going to happen next?"
There aren't many films that I would immediately recommend to friends as a "must see", but this is definitely one of them. If you are looking for a film that will make you laugh hard, lift your spirits and leave you wanting more then this is the film for you! Great to watch on your own, even better with a group of friends. Absolutely hilarious!
Marley and Me is about a labrador puppy who comes into the lives of the Grogans, when John Grogran buys the puppy for his wife in place of a baby. However, the puppy (Marley) causes havoc from day one and the film follows the Grogans through their lives with Marley.
I was a little worried that it would be a bit too "slap stick" and would portray dogs as being "untrainable tear-aways" rather than this particular dog just not having had the right training. However, thankfully I was proved wrong. This was a feel good family movie, although a little sad in places. You can't help but get caught up in the emotions of the film. With some great acting and "silly humour", this is a film for a Sunday afternoon curled up on the sofa on a rainy day. If you read the book you will love the film. Don't forget the kleenex......
When replacing my previous car, I was looking for something with a high specification, reliable and spacious. The Liana didn't disappoint.
When I drove into work the following day, I received a few giggly comments about "isn't that the car the Top Gear team race around the track and don't rate very highly?" Well, these comments soon turned to "wow, look at how much space you have in your boot!", and "you have electric windows, air con and a CD player - how much did you pay?" When I told them how reasonably priced it was, they were surprised, as was I.
I have had my Liana for nearly 3 years now and have had no problems with it at all. Yes, it's true, if you want a car to race around Silverstone, then this isn't the car for you. However, if you would like a car that isn't going to break the bank, but is going to give you a spacious, reliable car with luxury extras then look no further.
After their first inital comments, whenever my friends and family decide to go to Ikea they often ask me to drive! Funny that!
I was looking for a reliable laptop, with as much memory and RAM as I could afford for under £500. I use the laptop for work, so this was really important. When I came across the Dell Studio 15, I read as many reviews as I could. This one seemed to rate quite highly with other users, although there were certain points other people made which put me off slightly. However, when reading reviews on other brands of laptops, similar issues were occuring.
I decided to take a risk and haven't looked back since! Extremely easy to set up in the first instance and has continued to be user friendly. The keyboard is lovely to type with and the screen is clear. I would rate this as a speedy laptop - I don't find myself waiting around for things to load very much any more. Hurray!
There are a couple of niggles, such as the screen is shiny, so if using outside can be difficult to see. However, this is the same with all modern laptops who are going for the shiny, rather than matt finish to their screens.
The only other things are that the mouse gets stuck occasionally - this is not a problem for me as I generally use an optical mouse with it anyway. The eject button at the top of the keyboard (which is in fact not a button but a touch sensitive symbol) does not work 100% of the time either. However, by ejecting your disk manually from the menu works just as well, so it is not a disaster.
Overall I am extremely happy with this laptop. I use it nearly all day every day and have only suffered with minor niggles. I would highly recommend this laptop.
It was a sad day I let this constant companion go! Lured away by slimmer models, none have compared since to the Sony Ericsson W810i. As a phone it was extremely straight forward to use, which is always a bonus. The buttons, although seem small, are not at all flimsy, and are extremely user friendly. As a music phone it was also ahead of its game at the time it was brought out, and can still hold its own for someone who doesn't want to download 1000's of tunes onto it. The FM radio was also great - I could catch up with the latest news and gossip from wherever I was. The camera was also a useful feature, capturing memories for me quickly and conveniently. Not the highest spec camera, but better than average. I would not use this as a main camera, but for quick shots it's ideal.
I would highly recommend this phone for anyone who would like a reliable phone, that's easy to use and gives you variety - camera, walkman, radio etc.
