The transparent bottle has a shape slightly similar to an hour glass, or the figure of a woman. Placed where the waist would sinch is a gold ribbon bow, topped with a gold cap. Adding more colour to the bottle is the perfume its self, which appears to be brown. The packaging, overall is lovely and extremely feminine. A perfume bottle that many women would like... Non the less, despite it's lovey exterior, the contents of this bottle smells absolutely horrid! And the name is positively ironic as it smells like something only elder people would wear. The smell totally gives away your age. No young person, that I know, would be caught wearing it.
When trying it on in the store I made the mistake of trying it on myself rather than putting it on one of those test papers, and the rest of the day my friends avoided me like a pariah ... that's how bad it smells..to me... and my friends.
Of course this may be a matter of preference, you may like it... the smell was just not for me. I will not be buying it.
I go to University in an area where winter seems to last 6 months out of the year, so you can imagine the damage that kind of weather does to you skin. After a month of neglecting my hands, I decided to do something and bought this product. I could notice the difference within a few days. My hands were no longer ashy and didn't make that sound of sandpaper when I rubbed them together. They were smooth and the completion returning to normal. Though I felt the product was a bit heavy and a tad oily (however it does say "intensive hand cream" so it's to be expected) it was better than putting petroleum jelly-- with respect to heaviness and oiliness on skin, but had with the same results in ability to lock in moisture.
Though the package says that the lotion it is fragrance free, it has a slight smell to it, I can't pin point it exactly, but it's not all together nice...the plus is that it gradually fades away and doesn't compete with other fragrances you may have have on.
Over all I think it's a product that people, especially those living in cold weather climates, or constantly washing their hands should consider carrying in their bags/brief cases/ backpack, etc.
I bought this by accident, but boy am I glad for it. I wanted an ordinary lip balm to wear before bed time (if you want soft and chap free lips in the morning this is something I would recommend doing). As I was applying it I noticed a tint to it. At first I was annoyed because I'm not a lipstick kind of gal, and thought "oh gosh what am I going to do with this...it's of no use to me now," but upon closer inspection and the effect it had, I grew to like it. It wasn't too much unwanted colour that lipsticks often leave me with, it looked good, but most importantly it worked (the moisturizing aspect). During my day-to-day life I like to wear light "natural" looking makeup, and this adds a missing element to my look that I can't necessarily achieve with lipstick.
Side note: One day I was walking with a male friend, and feeling that my lips were a tad try I pulled out this lip balm. After applying a bit my friend asked, "what is that stuff you just on your lips, I like it...it looks good (on you)."
