Now my daughter is coming up to two she is really getting into playing properly with all of her toys. She loves her dolls and enjoys pushing them around the house in this pushchair and her other pram and cuddling them. I purchased this pushchair as her first one and as she loves as Peppa pig she constantly points at the fabric and names the different characters and also uses it to push her Peppa beanies around.
---The features of the toy:
This pushchair was really easy to put up as it is similar to an actual full size pushchair and it folds like the umbrella style pushchairs to quite a small size. It goes up in seconds and it is secured by a couple of fixings which is great as it was ready for action straight away and there was no danger of parts falling off as they were all factory fitted.
The pushchair is made of a tubular pink steel folding frame with pink material with Peppa Pig and all of her friends on the material, it has and has pink wheels, it has a pink pads on each handle which makes it easier to hold and is better to grip onto. It also has a fixed strap so that the dolls do not slip out. It is supposed to be suitable for dolls up to 40cm in length and most dolls fit in securely. It is quite lightweight but it does not support when you lean on it as it is so lightweight.
My daughter loves this pushchair and is constantly swapping the dolls in and out. It is really easy for her to manoeuvre around the house and as she is only 21 months it is important to have something lightweight and durable and as she walks on her own she can quite easily push it around the house.
I think this is a really good pushchair as it is lightweight and it is easy to fold up so that it can be transported out and about and as it is so quick to put up and down so I often use it as a bribe to get my daughter out of the house as it is easy to fold it down and it fits easily in the back of the car.
The recommended age is 36 months to 6 years but I feel that children much younger can quite happily play with this as there are no major hazards that stop younger children playing with it. It would probably be advisable for children under 3 to be closely supervised as it is possible just in case they try to pull the levers up at the side and fold it down, it wouldn't be good as fingers might get trapped.
I think this is a great first pushchair for little girls, or boys for that matter. I think that the price is reasonable for a pushchair as it cost around £6.99 from Smyth's and usually Peppa Pig items are a few pounds more for the print.
I bought this tea set for my daughter as a replacement for a ceramic one that she had for her Birthday as I was concerned after she broke one of the items and cut her finger! As she absolutely loves playing with the tea set I though that I should get her a more suitable set.
The Early Learning Spotty Tea Set is has 15 pieces including:
4 cups & saucers
1 Teapot with lid
1 Milk jug
1 Sugar bowl with lid
Age: The tea set is actually sold with an age of 3+ but my daughter was only 18 months when she got this. I feel that it is suitable for much younger as all of the pieces are quite large and I cannot see any danger for my daughter playing with this set. The cups are a good size for my daughter to play with and the tea pot is easy for her to pour everyone a drink.
Social skills: I have great fun with my daughter playing with this set, she constantly pours you a "tea" and has great fun sipping from the cups. I occasionally find her pouring her juice from her cup into the cups and she is developing her social skills really well!
Unisex: I would not say that this is just for girls, my frind has a similar set for her little boy who also really loves it!
Price: I got this set from Boots for £10 which I feel is quite high but you are paying for the quality with ELC so it is a fair price really.
Positives: great for developing motor skills as the pour and stir the drinks and it also encourages creativity. My daughter is constantly chatting as she plays with this set.
Negatives: The price as I previously mentioned and the fact that it is quite easy to loose track of some of the cups as my daughter carries them al over the house offering you a "tea".
Overall: A great item that offers hours of playing fun. It keeps my daughter amused every morning while she is waiting for her breakfast!
I bought this Funtime Bath Boat for my daughter for Christmas as she absolutely loves Peppa pig (and George) so I thought this would be a great addition for bathtime! It is a good size for the bath and can provide a welcome distraction in the bath.
---The features of the toy:
The Funtime Bath Boat comes complete with removable Peppa Pig and George Pig figures dressed in their life jackets and a Grandpa Pig who's arms can be moved and also 3 different coloured bath crayons! The dimensions of the boat are 21 (l) x 12 (h) x 10 (w) cm.
My daughter loves this boat and plays with it every night in the bath. The crayons provide hours of fun as my daughter spends ages drawing on both the sides of the bath and herself. They are quite safe to draw on skin as it washes straight off, they are similar texture to soap and do not seem to mark the sides of the bath although when the bath has been drawn all over it needs a good clean to get off all of the residue that has been left from the colours going into the water. I just use cream cleaner to get this off.
The crayons have only lasted my daughter a couple of months as she has used them up with her constant drawing and as they get wet they do disintegrate when they have been used so the colour comes loose from the plastic holder. I have not found any replacements for the crayons.
I think this is a really good boat in terms of size and features but I do not think that it has been well tested as the boat does not float when all characters are placed on the boat. As Grandpa pig is much bigger than Peppa and George he tips the boat constantly even when all characters are placed in their compartments (which are round grooves that they can be placed in)
It is suitable for 12 months + and I feel that this is a suitable age as I would imagine if they were any younger that they would try to eat the crayons.
I think this is a great boat and provides a lot of enjoyment. The price varies from £15-£20 which is quite a lot but most of the Peppa Pig items are quite pricey. I actually got this boat as a free item when I spent £40 on Peppa Pig items in Smyths.
My daughter loves her babies and loves pushing them around the house and cuddling them. She was bought this pram as an extra one as she already had the Peppa pig pushchair which she loves as Peppa pig is also her favourite cartoon and she constantly points at the fabric and names the different characters.
---The features of the toy:
This pram was really easy to assemble from the flat packed package that it came in. It went up in about 5 minutes and was ready to play with in no time which was great as she can get really impatient waiting for new toys to be assembled of fetched out of the packaging, which was simply a cardboard box with plastic wrapped parts.
The pram is made of a tubular pink steel folding frame with pink material with Peppa Pig and all of her friends on the material, it has and has pink wheels with spokes. It has a pink pad along the handle which makes it easier to hold and is safer for when they fall over onto it. It also has a hood that can be folded down, and a matching bag and parasol. It also came with a feeding bowl, bottle and spoon. It is supposed to be suitable for dolls up to 40cm in length. It is quite lightweight and does not support when you lean on it.
My daughter loves this pram and fills it with several dolls at once. It is really easy for her to manoeuvre around the house and as she is only 19 months it is important to have something lightweight and durable and as she walks on her own she can quite easily push it around the house.
I think this is a really good set as it has the various different parts to it for the children to play with and all of them match. The parasol can sometimes get in the way as my daughter is under the recommended age which is 3 and she does not really like it to be put up but she is quite happy for it to be attached to the pram. The parasol is fully detachable and it adjusts fully just as a full size one.
The recommended age is 3 but I feel that children much younger can quite happily play with this as there are no major hazards that stop younger children playing with it. It would probably be advisable for children under 3 to have the parasol removed as children could get their fingers caught if they tried to open it.
I think this is a great first pram for little girls, or boys for that matter. I think that the price is quite high for a pram of this type but as it is Peppa Pig the price of £28 (Argos) obviously reflects this. The pram does also fold away so it is quite easy to store if you want to put it away but my daughter just keeps it out and leaves all of her dolls and accessories in it.
I have owned this mobile for around a year now and it does take a lot of getting used to with its tiny qwerty keyboard and numbers.
*240 x 320 pixels, 2.4 inches
*GSM 900, 1800, 1900
*3.2 mega pixel camera with video recording facilities
*Unlimited phonebook entries with multiple contact storage
*microSD expansion slot
*MP3 and polyphonic ringtones
*Standard Li-Ion battery
*SMS, EMS, MMS, Email, IM
*T9 text feature
It is very easy to use with its simple menu and interface and it looks like a great phone with its blue black and grey colour scheme. It has all of the usual features of a standard phone, text, calls, sms, mms.
The screen is a good large size.
The camera is easy to use as you only have to press the button on the side of the phone to activate it. There is also video avalible from the same button, you just have to change the options. The quality of both the video and images can be quite poor unless the lighting is good.
It has no wifi or GPS. The keys on the qwerty keyboard are difficult to press when writing text messages which results in you forever having to delete parts of messages and starting again. The phone did not come with the micro sd card required so I purchased one seperatly. This has reallt slowed the phone down.
To dial a number you are expected to use the numbers behind the keyboard. These keys are really small and hard to press. The battery life is also not great, even when barely used I have to fully re-charge every 2-3 days.
I would reccomend this phone for great value for money. I expect that it would be great for a starter phone for a youngster.
These were bought for my daughter this Christmas. They are the typical peppa pig pink and they are very cute on when they are on. ( if you can get your small child to sit long enough to get them on)
As she is only a baby size 5 they do seem a bit on the large size for her small feet. They are quite difficult to get on as the opening is not very large. When she first started walking about in them they seemed as if she was bouncing around! I would definatly not purchase these again in a bigger size due to this fact.
They look great on and my daughter was very excited when she opened them this Christmas but they are not as great as they look.
They have quite a sturdy base and will wear well due to this, my daughter has not worn them many times but as they still fit I am sure she will get her moneys worth. I think they cost around £6.00 from Asda.
As I child I always wanted one of these so for my daughter this Christmas I had to get her one. I picked the silly suitcase as it looked like hours of fun.
On opening the suitcase I was surprised at actually how many pieces there were. There are different shoes, noses, arms, eyes lips and different whole outfits that you can create with the matching hats and even a shirt. You can even create a Police Man.
My daughter is only one but she is able to change all of the pieces as they are really easy to select and change at random. All of the pieces are a good size and it is easy to find the matching parts.
The only negative to this toy is packing it back into the suitcase. Even if you put some of the pieces inside the potato you still find it hard to fit it all back into the case.
While playing with this toy my daughter has been able to develop various skills such as hand eye coordination ( selecting and inserting the relevant parts of the body) She has been learning to name the colours as there are various colours for the noses etc. As well as the parts of the body.
