I have a 53 plate red mini cooper with a white roof and white stripe. I absolutely love it.......but it costs me a fortune to run. The insurance is high, it drinks petrol like it's going out of fashion, and repairs are dreaded! I am on egg shells whenever it goes in for an MOT or service as im worried what else they will find wrong. The tyres are run flats and are £120 each. However it does give me peace of mind when driving on the motorway daily, that unless it blows up i won't have to stop to change a tyre!
The boot is ridiculously small, but as there is only me in the car the majority of the time, i have just about managed. Any trips to ikea, or other shopping sprees are a definate no go though! I even struggle to get a weekend case in the boot, and now tend to just throw anything thats medium sized straight onto the back seat, bypassing the boot.
I love my little mini but i now really need to be sensible and part ex it for something a little bit bigger and more economical to run. I will hate to see it go though, and one day in the future may become a mini owner for the second time........
I had seen these advertised on TV, and i am always a bit wary of things advertised on early morning shopping programmes that dominate the TV. But after having a pile of clothes (mainly coats and jumpers) that i loved but had bobbles on, i decided to give in and give the JML bobble off a go. I ordered one off ebay, and i received it a few days later - by which time i'd convinced myself it wasn't going to work. I put the batteries in and it was ready to go. And within the next half hour my clothes were like new. The bobbles were mainly on the inside of my sleeves, or down the sides of my body, where my arms catch when walking, etc. Some parts were quite heavily bobbled but this gadget still sorted it out. It really does give clothes a new lease of life which is rewarding especially when they are your favourite clothes! For a fiver it can't be faulted. I would rebuy as it is really handy to have about the house. I have even used it on scatter cushions and the cushions on my sofa
I bought this product after being sceptical for a while. I had seen similar products in high end stores and on the internet, as well as in cooking magazines. I didn't really see how it would be so much better than a normal traditional masher to justify the much higher price. But after using for the first time i realised it was so worth it!! Until buying this, i never made the mash in our house as i just couldn't get rid of the lumps no matter how much i tried. And with this, my mash is lump free at ease. It takes longer to mash as you have to fill the gadget in batches, and then squeeze into a pan or bowl, but the end result is so worth it. No lumps can escape! I would recommend this to anyone struggling to mash potato, like me, or anyone who just likes kitchen gadgets. I use mine regularly and would definately buy another if this one broke. It feels like a high quality product though, so im sure it will last a long time and i'll get my money's worth. In a couple of years iv had 2 other mashers which always end up bending beyond use.
I had seen these around for a while but refused to pay full price. Then when they initially came on offer they flew off the shelves. I just couldn't find one. Then they came on offer again, and i managed to get one. I loved it at first, but now tend to forget its there on a day to day basis, and instead just reach for the washing up liquid. I have mine in the kitchen, and use it if my hands are messy, from painting, baking, colouring icing, etc. but otherwise just use normal washing up liquid. It is handy, but overpriced. I got mine for a fiver on offer, and although i think its a good idea, i wouldn't be spending over the odds on the refills so will be likely to go back onto normal handwash unless they are on offer again. My goddaughter thinks its great, and wants to keep washing her hands to use it, but it is expensive. My fiancee has OCD and loves it, but he does think about the germ factor rather than it being useful. But with so many handwashes being widely available on offer for £1 now, i don't think this product justifies a repeat purchase. it does say non-refillable, but once empty i am going to give it a go refilling with cheap handwash. If not, it'll be back to the usual pump dispensing handwash
I bought this kettle last year when me and my boyfriend moved into our first flat. As we were just leaving home our budget was tight and while we wanted something cheap and cheerful, we still wanted something fairly stylish and not cheap looking. This kettle was ideal, as we don't drink hot drinks ourselves so it was really only for guests brews and gravy, etc, not full daily use. It was under a tenner, had a matching toaster available, and matched the fitted stainless steel appliances in our kitchen, so we made the purchase. It has been quite easy to clean and looks alot more than the price paid especially as it is cordless and has a neat and tidy base. The only issue I have is that after around 6 months of occasional use, it now leaks out of the base. I can't find exactly where the leak is coming from, but if water is left in the kettle then after a while a pool of water appears around it. Since we don't use it often, at the moment i just empty it out after use and that seems to be fine.
For the price, I wasn't expecting a long lasting kettle, but definately longer than 6 months.
I am a massive Lush cosmetics fan, and an even bigger Lush snow fairy fan. I regularly buy individual bubble bath bars or bath melts, but this is my favourite yet. I received one as part of a gift set for Christmas, and have used it 3 or 4 times and it looks like i'll still get another couple of baths too. It works completely differently to other Lush bath products, and other bath bombs on the market. Instead of getting 1 or maybe 2 or 3 baths from a bubble bar (if you go to all the faff of cutting it into pieces). Rather than putting the product into your bath, you just swirl the wand in the bath, under the water and you're done! It smells devine and the snow fairy does become a little addictive once you've smelt it. In addition, it goes alot further and you can also control the amount of bubbles in a bath, by the amount of swirls you do under the bath water. I loved mine and so did my 3 year old goddaughter who has had it in her bath recently. It is a fab gift for any Lush fan or anyone girly, and is better value than the typical bath bomb
I received this as a gift set for Christmas and I am a big fan of Lush products. As soon as you take the lid of this gift set you are overwhelmed with a scent of girlyness, sweets and lots of pink colour and glittery items between the packaging. It is like a taster of the rest Of the Lush snow fairy girly range, as a lot of these pink glittery products smell similarly. The bath bomb lathered up a treat and smells wonderful, and the soap smells equally delicious and is also full of glitter which subtlely covers your skin. The smell really does make any girl or lady no matter what age, feel like a child again. Im sure that the pink colouring and glitter only adds to that. It really is a clever design by Lush as the wonderful smell sucks you in and really gets you hooked. The bath bomb makes your skin feel unbeliveably soft and moisturised, and the scent does linger for hours. I often can't smell it any longer on myself, but other people always comment on it. The soap is also of lovely quality that you would come to expect from Lush and unlike many other soaps does not dry your skin out. Like with the bath bomb, the scent also lingers, and the soap itself lasts ages! I would recommend this highly as a gift for a young girl, teenager, or infact any female that loves pink and glitter! Even my fiancee loves the smell and now uses the snow fairy in the same range!
I received one of the premium large gift sets for Christmas last year from my fiancee who knows that i absolutely love nice smelling bath products. It was my best gift that year! All the products were of high quality and despite daily use many are still going strong, in particular this shower gel/ body wash. It has a lovely fresh and clean smelling scent to it, and makes your skin feel immediately soft. The moisturing feel and scent then continues throughout the day. It is a very clever idea for soap and glory to put this in a soap dispenser pump action type bottle as because it lathers so easily and plentiful, you only need a small amount at a time.....hence why it is still being used 5 months after Christmas!! It just emphasises the great value for money. I love the feel of this on my skin so much that i will be purchasing again once it runs out, and i have already dropped a large hint for this as future gifts too.
