This is not my first phones that I have had. As a matter of fact I am a big phone person, who has my own specifications on phones, and the quality of them. So when I buy a phone I go into great research on the phone itself. I would say that when I purchased this product however, I was expecting something great because I had researched it thoroughly, but I would say my expectations were not met as much as I would have liked them to.
I bought this phone at my local phone service provider, and when I bought it I was dragged into a 2-year plan with them, and I had to at least keep this vizaz for a year. On some aspects I am glad that I made this decision. Some good features of this phone that I feel should be mentioned include it's camera. Like you may know I am into cameras and I know my stuff about cameras. And let me tell you out of all the phones I have ever had with a camera, this one is by far the highest quality. Another advantage of this phone would be the sound quality. I know for a sony Ericson the sound quality isn't supposed to be that great and all, but this phone had an above exceptional sound quality. Very rarely so far have I heard any of the fuzzing/buzzing noise when I am in a dead zone. The last advantage this phone has in my mind is the variety of features it has. Many many different options to choose from for themes, ringtones, it is just unlike any other phone I have had as far as number of customizable features. Great job on sound quality and camera quality Sony!
This phone has a lot of disadvantages for being a Sony Ericson, because Sony's are usually known for the higher quality phones, atleast in my opinion. One disadvantage would be it's reliability. I said above that this phone rarely buzzes in a dead zone, but it has dropped the call every time right when I go in the dead zone. I would say the reliability of this phone is some of the lowest I have seen, where my other phones have had 4 bars, this has 1 or none. Another disadvantage would be the processing of this phone, and I guess it gets almost no service because of the low processing rate at which it operates. I figure if Sony would fix that problem then they would have eliminated two disadvantages, but unfortunately they did not discover that problem. Last disadvantage would be the ease of use for this phone. I have used droid's and iphone's, and people say that they are difficult to setup and use, but when I tried those phones out they were very basic compared to this phone. It is a struggle to find how to text, make a call, or open the camera. However I will say though that once I did find out how to text call and take pictures I was very pleased with the quality.
This phone is almost a D on the grade scale compared to my other phones, which I believe are not that high of a quality. I was expecting great things for this phone, but it turns out I was wrong. Sony messed up a lot of things with this phone, but I believe if they are going to make another one, and they fix those problems then the future version of this phone will be what I was expecting out of this current version!

Like I have said before I am a hard working, very busy college student. I do not have much free time, but when I do I like to relax and enjoy video games. I mostly play console games, but I like games on the itouch as well. However the games are not the main reason why I bought this itouch, I bought it mainly for the music. I can use it to relax and listen to music, or use it while going to class. This is my only mp3 player I own, so I am not able to compare it to other audio devices.
When I ordered this online and it came in the mail I was anticipating something great. And something great is indeed what I received. Right from the beginning advantages piled up. One, the packaging was really neat and unlike anything I had ever seen before. Not only was it very easy to unpack, but it looked and felt nice too. Now to the actual information about the itouch. The itouch is very user friendly, once I get through the hassle of setting it up, the apps are very easy to download, music very easy to listen too, and games very fun to play. Also in the time I have had this product it has received no scratches, so I am expecting it to last a long time, if it doesn't electronically malfunction that is. There are not that many real "advantages" to this mp3 player, but it really is an awesome all around product. As for the sound quality of this product, i would have to say if you have good headphones, then the sound quality will be great. But i only have the headphones that came with it so i cannot really make a sound judgement. But from when i have used my friends headphones to listen to music, i cannot tell much of a difference from what the output of this itouch is, so i would say it has a fairly good sound quality. Lastly when i began to download the apps on this device it asked for my username and pass, and if it was free i could download it automatically and only took maximum 1 minute. But if it cost money then i had to enter either my CC, or an itunes giftcard. either way the actual download only took 30 seconds- 1 minute, which is fantastic!
There were quite a few disadvantages from even before buying it. One I found out that third-party apps are not allowed on the itouch, and that you have to go through a process called "jailbreaking" it, which voids the warranty. This obviously is a big disadvantage right from the get-go, but from what I have seen on it so far this is not such a big deal. Another disadvantage is the long process it takes to set it up and begin listening to music/ playing games on. It took about 3 hours from out of the box to download itunes which is another story, and plug in my ipod and configure it to itunes. One thing apple should definitely work on is the setup for the itouch to make it not only quicker, but more user friendly as it just took me too long to figure it out, which made me really dislike and regret my purchase.
Although I have never owned an mp3 before this itouch, I do believe I was able to give a somewhat insightful review about the different features and aspects of the itouch. I believe that on paper it does have more disadvantages, but when you actually use it, it is a great product. I highly recommend this product, it is good for almost anyone I can think of!
I am an art major in college and if I want to do well I need a good camera. And being in college I cannot afford to buy an expensive camera for $500. I have a few other cameras but none of them live up to my expectations as well as the Nikon Coolpix L21 does.
When I first got this I was very excited because I have heard other great reviews about this camera, however I was skeptical because it is always too good to be true. But with this camera it was not too good to be true, it was really a great camera. One feature that I really love about it is its resolution of pictures. Being a somewhat cheap camera I was not expecting a high resolution quality pictures. But the quality of the pictures this camera takes is close to the quality of a $500 camera. Another great feature about it is it's build, it has a great build to it. I have dropped it a few times in my room already and it hasn't even received a scratch. This is very uncommon for a camera, I know! Finnaly another good quality about this camera is that it was super easy straight out of the box to use. I am always on the go and I do not ever have much time to set something like this up. But I just took it out of the box and almost immediately it started to work!
Although It had many advantages, this camera had some disadvantages to it as well. One being the functions or controls of it. When I tried to switch the flash on, I had to look in the manual on how to do it. On my other cameras there is a button to switch flash on, but this camera doesn't which I find rather annoying. Another function that I had to search for was the macro shooting. It took me a week before I found out that this camera even had a macro shot on it, but when I did find out it was well worth the long time I was clueless. Other than that this camera does not have many disadvantages to it.
This camera is an all around great camera, except for one disadvantage of the controls on it. Although that disadvantage does not even come close to the advantages of this camera! All around great camera and I recommend it to anyone searching for a cheap good quality camera.
I am an avid gamer, who spends a lot of time playing football games and shooting games. Very rarely do I lean over to the sport racing genre, but when I do I like to have myself a wheel to give me an advantage. I own a PS3 and a xbox 360, for the PS3 I have the Logitech G25 Racing Wheel, whereas for the Xbox, this is my first racing wheel. I only have one game for which I am able to use my racing wheel for on the Xbox, and the game is a good one, Forza 3.
After having used the Logitech Wheel for the Ps3, I had high expectations for this wheel. I believe after thorough testing and use by my experienced gamer hands, I was able to come up with some Advantages of the wheel. One, the wheel has a nice feel on my lap, it seems to fit perfectly with me. Another Advantage of this wheel, is its easy use. This wheel was incredibly easier to set up and begin using than the Logitech wheel. I was ready to start racing in a matter of 5 minutes within taking it out of the box, whereas for the Logitech it took me about half an hour to figure out how to set it up and being gaming with it.
There were many more disadvantages for the Mad Catz while, than advantages. One disadvantage would be the material it was made out of. IT seems as if the material used to make it was a plastic, but not some of the highest quality plastic I have used on gaming product. This plastic makes me skeptical to how long it will last, and I would much rather play a racing game with my Logitech wheel, than the Mad Catz wheel. Finally another disadvantage of the Mad Catz wheel is it's lack of controls. Compared to the Logitech wheel, the Mad Catz only has about 1/4th of the controls. It has no racing shifter, which I believe adds all of the fun into racing with a racing wheel.
The advantages of the Mad Catz wheel do not outweigh the disadvantages that it has. If I were to ever buy a racing wheel for a friend or myself, I would easily pick another wheel over this, and probably choose one closer to a Logitech. I would also probably put more time and research into the wheel, so that I will not make another bad decision!
