Tiny tower is a fun and addictive game developed and produced by NimbleBit, it was firstly available for apple on june the 23rd 2011 and has had over nine million downloads since it was first published on apple and over one million downloads since it was first published on android.
The point of the game is to build and control a virtual tower which can grow to over one hundred and fifty floors. The tower can have shops such as a record store, a furniture store or/and a book shop. You can have utilities such as a bank, a doctors office and/or a dentist office but more importantly apartments... Apartments are important because this is where all the virtual citizens (Citizens are actually called Bitizens in the game) live and you employ the people that live in these apartments to work at utilities and shops. The game gets harder the more floors you have because the price of the floors increases but this isn't as bad because the more floors you have the more money you get from profit and rent.
Overall I think tiny tower is a great, fun and addictive game for all people that just wan't a little bit of fun. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that has and android or apple device.
Pepsi is very similar to coke in taste and people prefer coke but what is it about pepsi well some people think it has less calories its packaging looks better and they just generally prefer it, in my opinion I think they are just the same in taste but coke is the original and I personally think that pepsi is just a slightly different tasting.
Pepsi came to fame in England and Ireland in 1993, pepsi have many adverts and in 2011 partnered with Doritos to bring us pepsi citrus freeze and doritos jalapeño crisps which featured two ordinary people turning into superheroes by drinking and eating it was a comic style advert.
There are also different flavours of pepsi such as: pepsi twist, pepsi new lemon and the latest pepsi cherry which was released in 2011.
In my opinion coke and pepsi max aren't very different and I would recommend both to a friend but I think coke just comes out top because it is the original.
Coca Cola is originally from America introduce in 1886 it is a fizzy drink sold all over the world it was originally meant to be a medicine but then became an incredibly popular fizzy drink (in fact the most popular).
the original bottle was glass (which is still being sold) but is now normally plastic and is also sold in cans the iconic name and font was designed by Frank Robinson but the wonderful red logo was created by John Pemberton.
Coke has many marketing campaigns including partnering with the 2012 london olympics. Coca cola has had many slogans in its time, here are just a few: coke knows no season, be really refreshed, Can't Beat the Feeling and Make It Real but the latest one is open happiness I know some of them sound a bit stupid but some of them are over fifty years old.
Recently coke have released its latest promotion, coke zone where you collect points from bottles and spend them on things such as entries into competitions, Facebook credits (Facebook is a social network) and fifteen percent off spa treatments these are just a few of the many prizes it has been around since 2006.
Its biggest competitor is pepsi a very similar soft drink which some people think doesn't taste much different to coke in my opinion they are pretty similar but I personally prefer pepsi.
There have been many different variations of coke such as coke zero and diet coke but the original coke still remains the majority of peoples favourite drink.
Where's my water was developed by creature feep and published by disney it is there first app that dpsen't link into a movie, it was released on September 22 2011.
The main aim of the game is to get the water to the green crocodile called swampy by drawing a path with your finger rubber ducks can also be collected on each level you have got to beware of the green liquid
It is a very colourful game with the colours mostly light brown and purple in the background there are blue/black bricks, the game is very much suitable for young children.
The music is funky but can get a bit annoying if you are playing the game for a longer period of time.
overall I think it is a very good concept and game I would definitely recommend it to a friend or anyone that has an ipod touch, ipad or iphone and it is available also on most android devices.
Ninjump was developed by Back Flip Studios and was released on August the twelfth 2010. Ninjump ( are now the creators of amazing games such as paper toss, ninjump, ninjump deluxe, rag doll blaster, harbour havoc 3D, mahjongg dimensions and many many more.
The main aim of the game is to get the highest score as you possibly can by dodging objects such as birds, squirrels and houses. Unfortunately some of the adverts get in your way which is extremely annoying and once I was only about twenty five away from my personal world record and yes you can guess what is coming next I accidentally tapped on an advert so I couldn't get my record but you can buy an ad free version.
Most of the colours in the game are different shades of yellows. in the background you can see silhouettes of old Chinese houses and in the foreground you can see there roofs. The characters are cartoons and are very simple but effective.
The game itself is very easy at the beginning but gets harder as the game progresses and you should definitely get it if you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and it is also available on most android devices
Angry birds is developed by a company called Rovio and was released for iPhone on December 11th 2009 since then it has been a worldwide success best seller. It is incredible that such a simple game has done so well but it is like with all good games they start with a small idea then expand to be a game that millions of people have on their phone. More versions of the game have been released like angry birds seasons and angry birds space which are both great games.
The aim of the game is to get pigs by firing a variety of birds (blue, red, black, yellow at them with the swipe of your finger. The story behind the game is that some pigs have stolen the bird's eggs and the birds are trying to get their eggs back.
The graphics are very detailed with bright and vibrant colours but the designs of the birds are simple but extremely attractive and the backgrounds are mind blowing on every level.
Overall this is a great game and I would recommend this to anyone who can get it and it is currently priced at £0.69 (on iPhones) and is a bargain for such a great game, if you are looking for an addictive, fun time waster this game is definitely for you.
I will start off by saying alot of people under rate companies like Sony trying their hand at new technology having bought the camera just over a month ago i could not have been more impressed with the camera`s capabilities.
Firstly costing around £400 a good price for a high end entry level DSLR but this has a major advantage over SLR`s if you do not know it is a DSLT which features translucent mirror technology which Sony have won many awards for. In my opinion in a few years all camera`s will be using this technology so i thought i was already ahead of the game.
The camera itself performed very well image quality wise using its big sensor to its advantage, also with pleasing low light performance a high setting expandable to 25,600 which is more that you get with any Nikon or Canon models until you get to professional models. Also showing off it can shoot 5.5fps which in sport fast moving situations pleases me alot.
The biggest reason I decided to buy this camera though for me it the thought of the constant autofocus all the time no fiddling about it works like a dream this is the same in the video which proves very, very handy indeed. The kit lens is fine and with an array of arty effects and filters to apply they seem to be more useful that you would think also covering the essential full manual settings if you wish to use them personally the auto-mode works fine for me.
The cameras ergonomics have been nicely done fitting nicely into any willing persons hand i find the camera is a nice weight that is never unbalanced. In my opinion though from behind the camera looks a little ugly with the fixed screen which makes more of a difference than you would think but no real big problem. Sony have also included HDR, 3D picture mode and a raw mode. One last thing the viewfinder is not optical but electronic still works as well as it is 100% coverage what you see in the viewfinder is what you get! To get this in a Canon or Nikon you have to get a model worth £2000.
Overall Sony have achieved alot in this model and i look forward to the next model.
I bought this camera in the summer of 2011 and have been using it for the past 8 months I purchased it with the 18-55mm kit lens which is only good for shooting general things on a daily basis if you want a better more creative look on things go for the 55-300mm zoom lens if you like getting close to wildlife and distant objects go for this lens if you are only into a street type photographer go for the 35mm 1.8 prime lens which works well in low light situations.
Now onto the camera i start by saying i was blown away with what Nikon have done to give the camera a very high standard of overall picture quality compared to recent camera models e.g canon 600d with an array of picture effects including a type of filter only letting one type of colour through. I love the ability to use the manual focus ring and zoom ring easy to do in your hands.
The shutter is very responsive and can catch any candid moment easily with continuous shooting mode at 4fps which is decent it suits any basic shooter well unless you are into sports photography.
The mode dial is simple and features a variety of scene modes with an auto mode and manual, shutter and aperture dedicated mode which for a photographer with a goodish knowledge of the field these modes are useful in most situations and are worth having. Don`t worry about low light image quality professional quality is here on offer.
For any video enthusiasts there is a hot shoe for a flash and a key external mike with full 1080p available the best basically you are kitted out. The 3` rear LCD screen with 921k dots is enough for anyone who likes to look back on there pictures in camera buttons such as the menu are easy to access and I believe Nikon provide the best, most user friendly and clear menu system around. Oh and to round off the autofocus is one of the best out there with the camera being able to focus in a small amount of time.
If I was in your position looking for not a professional but a high end DSLR this is the model for you it is better that the 600d anyway but ask any canon fan though they are so stubborn.
I could not find a fault worth mentioning in this review bar only that it only does 4fps if you like sport you have to look at a Sony alpha SLT model with lightning fast autofocus.
May do a review of that soon so check back soon.
Hope you like the review thanks for reading!
The fairly new Canon EOS 1100d is the one of the market leaders in terms low entry level starter kits with a generous amount of features at the price point roughly £300 cheapest £284 with kit lens at SLRhut which I recommend for buying a camera. Inside the camera exists a top of the range CMOS APS-C 22.2*14.7 12mp sensor camera also with a class leading maximum ISO of 6400 which from my experience performs extremely well. From the behind you get a viewfinder with an 3 inch LCD screen 1040 k dot screen which does very well in demanding conditions. Video is included unlike the Nikon d3000 but only at 720p at 25 or 30fps and it only has an in build mono microphone with no external attachment, with the full set of shooting modes M,S,A,U and full auto modes along with a number of scene selection modes the camera is fully equipped for easy shooting. Although looking sleek and shiny the 1100d feels bulky and somewhat uncomfortable.
Overall canon have for the £284 price range produced a very good camera only lacking in the video mode.
Right now the Nikon d3000 is probably the cheapest DSLR around but not the worst by any margin. Firstly it has a CCD APS-C 23.6*15.8mp sensor which has started to date itself currently you can buy a camera with 6-8 more mega pixels for another £80 which I would say would be worth the money in the long time. One massive drawback is that it DOES NOT HAVE VIDEO! which makes this camera disappointing another is that it only has a maximum ISO sensitivity of 1600 and a boost of 3200 ISO which is pretty awful for a DSLR most compacts can match this or beat it. Now onto the good parts of the camera it has a wide array of Nikon lenses available all 169 of them and can long expose for 30s up to 1/4000s also with a pop-up flash and decent image quality this camera could be argued for the price it does itself justice.
Overall I would only recommend this camera to people who purely want interchangeable lenses and DSLR standard image quality!
cut the rope is one of my favourite time wasters and have it on both my iPhone and ipad (apple tablet). It is published by Chillingo and created by Zeptolab. It was developed in 2010 and since then has become one of the greatest phone games of all time up there with angry birds.
the aim of the game is to get candy to a small green monster by cutting ropes by swiping there finger across the screen there are many levels and they get harder as the game progresses.
the graphics are very detailed the patches at the back of the box are just the right colours (light and dark brown) but one thing I have to say is that when the Stanley knife opens the box at the start of the level is a bit jumpy which is slightly annoying.
the music is fun but annoying and has a catchy tune.
yes I would recommend this to anyone that has an iphone, ipad or most android devices. Overall this is a great game with incredible graphics 10/10
The canon 600d has an impressive 17.9mp APS-C 22.3*14.9 sized sensor which performs very well from my personal experience the kit featuring an 18-55mm image stabilization lens which fits snugly into place on the EF mount on the other side there if a 3 inch fantastic 1040k dot resolution display which is the best currently on the market the screens also flips out which is a useful feature in some situations the menu is user friendly and very clear, the camera also features a pop up flash as well as a hot shoe for an external microphone as well as the flash. Also include in the roughly £500 costing camera is a video mode that shoots 1080 24fps the best you can get basically but a big let no video autofocus a massive disappointment for many canon users. In terms of low light performance there is a maximum ISO of 6400 which is expandable to 12800 very useful in low light situations, in terms of focusing it has only 9 focus points which is no real change to the previous models. At this price point in the market i would expect there to be some eye raising features such as 3D photos,a GPS and some colour effects that are included in models from Sony and Olympus in the case of Olympus costing £200 less with a more compact body
In conclusion the 600d has superior image quality to other models in class and low light performance but it lacks special features that for me separate it between the D5100 which I rate as better
The Nikon d3100 is a DSLR entry level starter camera that prices around £400 pounds best price £330 SLRhut which features a 14.2mp APS-C 23.1*15.4mm CMOS sensor which has a total ISO rating of 3200 expandable on high to 6400 which for most people is enough to cater for their needs as it is a DSLR it has a big variety of Nikon lenses available a total of 169 but some only featuring manual focus the main kit you buy is the 18-55mm kit lens that I recommend getting another lens either the 50mm prime lens or the 55-200mm depends on the type of shooter you are street photography 50mm prime if you want the zoom go for the 55-200mm zoom lens.
The camera has a built in pop up flash which does a decent job a hot shoe provides the option for an external flash. The guide and menu are simple and friendly to use with an enhanced guide mode compared to other similar models in the market I believe Nikon have the best menu out there but the 230k pixel screen lets it down although 3 inches I am very disappointed that they have not upgraded it to at least 920k. Another feature of the Nikon is its video mode which features 24fps with this you can get the film feel one big bonus is that of its video autofocus mode which i think gives it a big advantage over other models another disappointment that it does not include an external microphone which for video fanatics is a big let down the camera also features a 3fps continuous shooting mode which is pretty awful for a camera of this standard
In conclusion this makes a great camera but if you are looking for more quality if you have another £50 pounds buy the sony a35 excellent camera for a little more of the price.

Lord of the Rings Conquest Review
Lord of the rings is one of my favourite novels and films it is written by J.R.R Tolkien, lord of the rings is about a young hobbit (smaller people basically dwarves) called Frodo Baggins played by Elijah Wood who sets out on a journey to destroy the ring that lord Sauron forged and is trying to get back after being found by Gollum (Sméagol) and kept for many years until Bilbo Baggins stumbles across Gollum and the ring in a cave Bilbo Baggins kept it for many years after that, until Gandalf came back and told him that he had to give it to Frodo for him to destroy it. Frodo encounters many beasts and evil creatures too but he also makes friends like Legolas played by Orlando Bloom and Gimli.
The main cast are as follows in alphabetical order: Billy Boyd, Cate Blanchett, Christopher Lee, Dominic Monaghan, Elijah Wood, Hugo Weaving, Ian Holm, Ian McKellen, John Rhys-Davies, Liv Tyler, Orlando Bloom, Sean Astin, Sean Bean, Viggo Mortensen.
The game itself has got fairly good graphics but sometimes it is dark so it is nearly impossible to see what's happening and especially when you are going up stairs. Throughout the game you can play as follows: a warrior is in mostly combat they get strength by defeating enemies, a scout can get killed very easily his weapons are two small daggers, an archer has a bow and different types of arrows (fir arrows, poison arrows) or a mage that will heal allies and use magic attacks all these characters can be played on the evil side for example an orc mage. The game was developed by Pandemic studios and is a 16+ it was released on the Sixteenth of January 2009. Overall I would recommend this to a friend but it is not the best game out there for combat.
