I bought these to go with my new laptop as I couldn't stand listening to the rubbish sound the built-in speakers produced. Well, these speakers are a huge improvement! I have tried some other, cheaper models before buying these and I can say it is worth spending the extra money if you care about quality sound. The speakers produce a clear, crisp sound, however, they lean towards the bass end of the spectrum, so if you're listening to music where the bass is dominant then you could end up with a muggy sound. There are controls on the front where you can adjust the bass and treble, but these only have a limited affect. I use mine with an external sound card (also made by Creative) which allows me to fine tune the sound, so I am able to compensate for the bassiness. The volume reaches decent levels for speakers of this size, although the area over which they can project their sound is pretty limited, so don't expect to use them as a substitute for hi-fi speakers. The design of these speakers is very slick, the gloss balck finish really suits a modern study/office, and the angled front suits the overall contemporary design.
Primark is a very busy store and very messy too. Well, we customers who love Primark that much, we are the ones who make it messy. There are a lot of rude people in that store who drops things on the floor without bothering to pick it up at least!
Other stores have sales at certain times of the year. However, Primark has reduced rails all year round, sometimes the price drops from £20 to £3 so it is always possible to find a bargain. Unfortunately, because Primark is such a busy store their stock sells very quickly. What they might have in the morning they might not have in the evening, so if you see something you like and they have your size and you are considering coming back in a couple of days to get it, don't. Just get it because probably after a couple of days they are probably not going to have it anymore so you have to be quick. Primark gets stock on a regular basis so they always have something and the best days to shop is Monday and Tuesday because this is the two days where you are likely to find things you like in the right size.
I have the Vidal Sassoon hair dryer for 4 years now. In my opinion it is a decennt hair dryer for a good price and it doesn't look cheap either. The hair dryer is powerful and has two speeds and a button to cool blow dry your hair with, but you need to hold the button until you want cold air, once you let go it gets hot again. In 4 years I didn't had any major problems with it - looks like I might have it for another 4 years. The only thing that goes wrong sometimes is when the speed slider goes up the power stays on first speed so I slide up and down sometimes to get it write. I used to have a hair dryer where sometimes my hair would be tangled in and during blow dry the hair would burn inside and would smell but this hair dryer doesn't really have that problem. Maybe it's not professional but for every day use it is just perfect. Fast and efficient. I would highly recommend this for every day use.
I have to say Chemist Direct is a risky shop to shop with. Before I bought from them the first time I read some reviews and I found some really negative and some really positive reviews but the prices were very tempting so I ordered from them. One item was out of stock, they e-mailed me saying that they should have it soon and once they received it they will send it to me. However, that product was out of stock for ever so I started e-mailing them and eventually they refunded my money for that product and sent me the rest of the stuff I ordered. After this experience I thought I will not ever shop with them again! After a while they had what I wanted so I gave them another chance. Actually the second time was incredibly smooth I got everything after a couple of days and I was very pleased with it! And I have ordered a few times more with it and one more time everything went wrong but after a couple of weeks e-mailing everything got sorted again. With chemist direct everything can go perfectly or completely wrong; it's one or the other. I only recommend it if the thing you are buying is not urgent because you might not get it, and only if you have the nerve to deal with them.
I am one of those women who, during my period, experience all the symptoms. I throw up, I faint, I suffer such a pain that I can't even walk and if I do I walk just like I had a bottle of vodka. I have tried lots of different things; some help, some don't. On my first day I never go anywhere but recently it happened that I went to work with the possibility that it would be the day of my period and it was once I felt the symptoms I took two Feminax Express tablets. I had one tablet the day before just in case. So I have to say I survived the day at work! I didn't felt great but two tablets to kill the pain were enough, but I did take them before the pain got strong. In my opinion Feminax Express is very strong medicine; it made me feel bit light headed and all I waned to do was sleep. I don't think I would take them every month because I do not really think it's good to pump the body every month with strong tablets, but on certain occasions when the pain is unbearable I would strongly recommend these painkillers but I would not recommend for any other pains even they do suggest so on the packet. Feminax Express mainly targets period pains, would work on headaches but it's better to take lighter painkiller which target headaches. Overall it's thumbs up from me!
It could be cheaper though. I paid £2.60 for 8 tablets but I would say it is worth every penny for taking away the horrible pain.
I got this Samsung on a contract. It was my first touch screen smart phone. I did wanted to have a good camera so 8 megapixel was just perfect and plus because I wasn't sure if I will get use to it with touch screen I could use the regular keyboard which easily slides. However, after a month or two my phone suddenly died for no reason I couldn't switch it back on so it had to be replaced. Second phone worked just fine at first, but after a month it started restarting itself and one day it died and I couldn't turn it back on. It had to be replaced... Third one still works, however time and date after a while started restarting itself in different times so I can't trust on setting an alarm.
Phone itself in my opinion would be better without a key board. Didn't really use it just to slide for camera and it was kind of a hassle to slide it up and down; it became annoying. The menu is quite basic which I like. Camera had few problems. The first couple of phone pictures came out bit blurry and stripy. It is a nicely designed phone. I wouldn't recommend this phone because of the problems I have experienced - unless they have sorted it out!
I was bought Soap and Glory shower gel for Christmas last year. Did not use it straight away because I did like it how it looks on a shelf but then I tried it and I did fall in love with it. It has a very gentle texture and leaves your skin nice and smooth. Smell I would say it's very gentle it's not too strong and it's not too heavy. Overall it's very light, gentle and creamy and it looks very girly but my boyfriend used it as well and I have to say he really help me to finish it! I would say man can use it as well because Soap and Glory shower gel is very light and nicely moisturises your skin. We love it. However we don't buy it very often because of the price but it is a very comfortable pump to use in the bathroom. Highly recommended product!
We recently got a cat from the RSPCA and she is 10 years old. We thought she might not be up for games because of her age, but she is overweight so we decided to make her move a little bit more than she normally does. So we started exercising her with a shoe lace; she showed no interest at first but later she got into the playing spirit. Then we bought some toys - balls with bells in them - but for some reason her favourite was a shoe lace, so eventually we bought this. She was quite suspicious at first but later it became her favourite toy ever and the shoe lace got forgotten! Now she plays with this toy like a young cat and on her own sometimes. She hasn't really lost any weight but at least she keeps active for her age so we are very pleased with that. Highly recommended product!
Unfortunately, we have very fussy cat. She drives as mad for being very picky. She doesn't like Whiskas cat food but she loves Whiskas omega 3! How strange is that?! Well, we are very pleased with that one and so is our cat! So if your cat is like ours this product is definitely recommended! Giving our cat only for few a days it lasts about a couple of weeks. But I have to say this product is quite expensive, looking at what a price per kilogram is I think it's over £20, so if you've got more than one cat and little money that would be something to consider. But overall it's a good product just bit pricy. One more thing - the lid doesn't close properly and it can easily fall off like it has done to me a few times. These treats should be crunchy I haven't tried them myself but when our cat eats we can hear she is crunching. Basically, this product does what it says, just could come in a bigger pack with a better lid and a cheaper price tag.
