About this Member

I am an army wife and a mum of 3, life is hectic and I don't really get that much time to write as I did when the children were younger - but that will soon be changing when the youngest starts school in september! I will be able to write lots more and will also have the time to come on here and read and rate much more than I am able to do so at the moment.

I love to read and to watch DVD's and films with my husband and kids, so as you can see the majority of my reviews will be films, dvd's and books. I also like to read with my kids (2 daughters) so there are a fair few kids films and books that will get reviewed.

Another passion of mine is my family tree. It stemmed after my nan died, I wanted to find out as much as I could about her, and have uncovered a few amazing facts along the way. I have almost traced my mother's side of the family as far back as the battle of culloden. Now I just need to find out if it is true that our family are directly descended from Rob Roy! That is one that was told to me as a child - I have an uncontrollable need to find out if it is really true! Although I have discovered some distant cousins in England and Australia which was rather nice.

I also enjoy knitting. Yes I am still in my 30's but it is a relaxing way to spend an evening. We are just getting ready to move house yet again and I will be able to get some serious knitting done on the ferry. It seems to be the only thing that takes my mind off being stuck on a big boat!

I'm hoping that I will get some serious writing done this year and that I will be able to keep it up for quite some time, although if I get the job I have applied for - all my writing will be done at weekends! I also write on Ciao and Epinions as bonsi6337. So all my reviews will appear on these two sites as well as here. Many Thanks to you all so very much for the crowns - I really do appreciate it!
