Product: Soap and Glory, Calm One Calm All Bubble Bath
I’m a huge fan of Soap and Glory products and have been buying their products for a number of years now.
I often buy the Soap and Glory, Calm One Calm All Bubble Bath. I pay £6.00 for a 500ml size bottle of this from Boots. Keep your eyes peeled as Boots normally often have a 3 for 2 offer on Soap and Glory products which of course is more cost effective as you basically get one of the items free. Therefore I tend to stock up around this time.
The Calm One Calm All Bubble Bath is packaged in a clear transparent bottle with a flip top lid. The bottle has a sticker on the front with the retro Soap and Glory Logo, and product title and description. All other relevant information is on a sticker at the back of the bottle.
The bubble bath is of a creamy consistency and is a pretty light pink colour. This smells of a nice sweet fruity smell which isn’t at all overpowering. To use you simply put a couple of capfuls into the bathtub, the bubbles lather up pretty quickly and there is plenty of them.
As there is a built in body lotion in the bubble bath this leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and super soft.
A bottle of this lasts me at least a few months or so. So even though it is a little pricey for a bubble bath it literally costs me a few pennies per bath.
One of my favourites which I will definitely be purchasing again.

Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Shampoo and Conditioner
After using up the last of my regular Shampoo and Conditioner, I was in the supermarket doing my normal weekly shop and saw that the Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Shampoo and Conditioner was on special offer for 99p each. This normally costs £3.79 a bottle so for that price I figured that it would be pretty decent so decided to give it a whirl.
The Shampoo/Conditioner comes packaged in a red plastic bottle with a bright green flip top lid. The herbal essences logo and product description is on the front of the bottle whilst all other relevant information is at the back of the bottle.
The Shampoo/Conditioner is of a thin creamy consistency, almost water like which I was a little sceptical about.
The smell of the shampoo was delicious, it smelt just of raspberries, yum.
I was a little disappointed to notice that the shampoo didn’t lather well at all, even after giving it my all it only lathered a tiny bit.
This didn’t make my hair feel soft at all, it looked clean afterwards but overall it made my normal shiny hair look dull. The next morning I noticed that my hair looked greasy, this was only after 12 hours of washing it.
I used the Shampoo and Conditioner once more and the exact same thing happened, I binned it straight away.
Overall the only plus point of this was the scent, it drastically went downhill from there.
A product that I definitely will not be purchasing again, even for 99p!

Product: Palmolive Naturals Liquid Handwash Milk & Honey
Price: £1.89 ( I bought this on special offer for 99p)
I always have a handwash in both my bathroom and in my kitchen. I’m not loyal to any particular brand as such so I tend to buy whatever is on offer when I do my weekly shop at the supermarket.
I do like the Palmolive brand of handwashes so when i saw that the Palmolive Naturals Liquid handwash in the Milk and Honey scent was on offer at just 99p in my local Tesco supermarket, I decided to give this a try.
The handwash is a comes packaged in a clear transparent 300ml bottle with a white nozzle on top of the bottle. The Palmolive logo and description is stuck on a sticker on the front of the bottle whilst all over relevant product information is at the back of the bottle. You can see in the bottle that the handwash is a lovely golden yellow colour. The gel is with honey which is 100% natural, the product has also been dermatologically tested.
To use you simply press down on the nozzle which dispenses just the right amount of product. The wash is of a thick but creamy consistency which as a lovely honey scent. Once the gel is in my hands I simply add water and rub together to wash my hands. This lathers really well and gives my hands a super squeaky clean feel.
After using the handwash my hands feel super soft, well moisturised and smell delicious.
I would definitely buy this product again, a thumbs up from me.

Product: Nails Inc Southbank Polish
I’m a huge fan of Nail Polish and particularly love the Nail Inc Brand. I bought the Nail Inc Southbank Polish around a year or so ago to add to my ever growing collection.
I shopped around and the best price I could find for the product back then was from the website lookfantastic.com. I paid £11.00 for a 10ml size bottle of the polish.
I understand that the Southbank shade was a limited edition shade by Nails Inc so i’m not entirely sure if the shade is available to purchase anymore, although on the wonderful world wide web I’m sure it will be still be lurking around somewhere.
Southbank is a gorgeous soft grey shade and looks fantastic on either my finger or toenails, a simple shade yet this classic shade looks effortlessly effective.
Before painting my nails I always ensure that my nails are thoroughly clean, nails tidy and well moisturised. I always use a base coat too which stops any staining on the nails and I feel that this makes the polish last longer. The brush is of a good size and the bristles are fine which enables a smooth and neat application as this fits perfectly at the corners. I apply two coats of the polish, let this dry and then apply a top coat.
I have received many compliments on this shade and the polish lasts for well over a week and I do use my hands an awful lot. I still have this polish a year on and it is still going strong.
A definite recommendation from me, the only downside is that it’s quite expensive.

Product: Karma Bubble Bar
I'm a huge fan of Lush products and I always pop into there when I'm treating myself or having a pamper evening.
I've bought the Lush Karma Bubble Bar a number of times so I thought that I would share with you all my review.
The Karma Bubble Bar is £3.25 and is available to buy from all Lush Stores.
The bar is circular in shape and is a burnt orange colour. I always break this bar into 3 pieces as this then makes the product more price friendly (£1.08 per bath) plus it's just as effective as using the whole bar.
To use I simply crumble the piece of the Karma bar under the warm water as I wait for the water to fill up in my bathtub. I find that if I turn the water pressure up the more bubbles I make in my bath. This produces a vast amount of bubbles which stay until the very end of my bath, the bubblier the better in my opinion.
The smell of the Karma bar is delicious! It has a citrus orange scent which fills my bathroom, it really does smell amazing. This also turns my bath water orange, a little dirty looking I admit but I personally don't mind this so much as I could predict this before using from the colour of the bar.
After I get out the bath my skin is left feeling silky smooth and soft and well moisturised.
I would definitely recommend this, a fab product which I will be using again.

Product: Carmex Cherry Lip Balm
Price: Special offer £1.79
I was in Superdrug a few weeks ago when I saw that they had the Carmex Cherry Lip Balm on offer for £1.79 instead of the usual price tag of £2.69, so I decided to give it a try.
The lip balm comes packaged in a cute little white plastic tub with a metal yellow screw top lid. The Carmex logo and product description are clearly visible on the top of the lid.
The thing I like most about the lip balm is that it contains SPF15. This ensures that my lips are protected from the sun, therefore acting as a sunscreen as well as a lip balm, bonus.
The balm smells deliciously of cherries, as you can probably tell from the products title. This isn't too overpowering and has the perfect balance.
To use I simply put a clean finger into the tub and scoop out a small amount to apply evenly onto my lips. The texture of the balm is very smooth making this feel extremely soothing on my lips.
I really like this product, it's healed my dry and cracked lips, ensuring that they are smooth and baby soft and also leaving them with a subtle sheen.
The only downside for me is that I find the formula of the balm quite greasy on my finger so I think next time I will buy the tube rather than the pot.
A product which I will definitely be buying again.

Product: Sanctuary Radiance Exfoliator
I'm a huge fan of skincare products and I enjoy trying a wide range of products and brands.
I needed a new exfoliator so I bought the Sanctuary Radiance Exfoliator from Boots for £10.50 for a 100ml sized product. I thought that this was a reasonable price to pay especially for that particular brand and size.
The exfoliator comes packaged in a see through squeezy tube with a lime green flip top lid. The Sanctuary logo is at the front of the tube whilst all other relevant information is at the back of the tube.
The exfoliator is a brown colour which contains darker brown exfoliating grains. On opening the lid you can instantly smell a wonderful delicious fruity smell, it smells amazing.
To use I simply apply a pea sized quantity of the scrub onto my fingers and simply massage this into my skin. I use upward circular movements whilst carefully paying particular attention to my nose, chin and forehead. I then rinse this off thoroughly with warm water and then pat dry.
This leaves my skin feeling soft and supple and gives it a nice and healthy glow.
I've seen fantastic results from using this and I will continue to use it as a regular part of my beauty routine. A definite recommendation from me.

Product: Radox Shower Gel
I’m a big fan of the Radox Eastern Spirit bath soak so when I saw the Eastern Spirit Radox Shower Gel on offer for £1.00 in Asda I popped one in my trolley to try.
The reason why I bought the Eastern Spirit was purely because of the scent. Eastern Spirit is a rejuvenating blend, with oriental lotus flower and orange blossom, the smell is sweet and smells just like fresh flowers.
The shower gel comes in a squeezy see through plastic bottle with the Radox logo on the front of the bottle and all other relevant information at the back of the bottle. The bottle also has a hook which flips out to enable to simply hang onto your shower.
The shower gel lathers up a treat on my skin and you only need to use a small amount, a little really does go a long way. This soothes my skin leaving it smelling fabulous, feeling soft and smooth and best of all making me feel energised, fabulous for first thing in the morning.
I really liked this shower gel, cheap and cheerful which does the job it’s intended to do just fine.

Product: Revlon Nail Polish
Shade: Perfect Coral
I love nail polish and I openly admit that I have a ridiculously large collection which I enjoy adding to with different brands and shades.
Whilst browsing in Superdrug one afternoon I came across the Revlon Perfect Coral (990) which is the most pretty perfect coral shade. I paid £6.49 for the 15ml nail polish which I felt was quite a reasonable amount for a drugstore brand.
Revlon claims that the nail enamel gives up to 10 days of lasting colour and shine, which in all honesty I didn't even get a chance to find this out.
I felt the application to be absolutely terrible. The brush to apply the polish was far to flat therefore leaving brush marks on the polish once applied on my nail and also a smudged effect from the brush being so scratchy.
This was awful to apply and left an ugly splodge of scratchy uneven bumpy marks on my nail. I definitely will not be buying this product again, a complete waste of my money.

Product: Dr Hauschka Cotton Muslin Cloth
I've been using Muslin Cloths for a number of years now and the Dr Hauschka Organic Cotton Muslin Cloth is definitely one of my faves.
I bought the muslin cloth for £5.00 from feelunique.com. Quite pricey for a cloth but the cloth is very large and is machine washable therefore can be used time and time again. It's very much worth the price, it keeps it's quality and as it is so large I can get a few uses out of the cloth until I have to wash it.
I use the muslin cloth daily and it has sorted my skin out a treat. To use I simply apply cleanser to my face, I then soak the muslin cloth In hot water and then gently place it on to my face and let it sit for around 10 seconds or so. I then gently wipe away my cleanser with the cloth using a circular massage motion. Then that is it, it really is that quick and simple.
The cloth is extremely gentle on my skin, it leaves my skin feeling super smooth and clear with a bright and healthy glow.
A product which I will continue to use time and time again.

Product: Mason Cash Lettered Dog Bowl
From: Pet Supermarket
Our family dog had a tendency to dive straight into her food at meals time causing the lightweight bowl she ate from to scatter around causing her food to spill. I was sick and tired of clearing this from at every mealtime therefore I decided to buy her a heavier bowl which would hopefully keep the dish in place meaning no more spills.
I decided on the Mason Cash Lettered Dog Bowl from Pet Supermarket after reading great reviews on the bowl. I searched around on line and Pet Supermarket came out the cheapest at just £7.49.
The Mason Cash Lettered Dog Bowl is made from a bite resistant ceramic and is a cane coloured bowl which is for every day use. The bowl is suitable for both food and water.
The bowl doesn’t slide around therefore no scattering around on the floor or any spillages. The bowl is extremely durable and as lasted our dog for over a year and is still going strong. This bowl is fantastic for our medium sized dog and is just the right size at approximately 25cm in diameter.
The bowl is extremely easy to clean and can even be used in the dishwasher but I personally prefer to hand wash the dogs bowls and simple clean these with a tiny bit of washing up liquid, rinse well and then simply pat dry with a kitchen towel.
I would definitely recommend this product, a fabulous product which works really well and does just as it’s intended to do.

Product: Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser
I’ve used the Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser on and off for several years now and I keep on going back to this product time and time again. This is fabulous if you are on a bit of a budget but at the same time still want a good quality product which works well.
I bought the moisturiser from Boots and I paid £4.50 for a 125ml bottle. Keep your eyes peeled for special offers as these are often on the 3 for 2 offers and are even sometimes on offer at half the price.
The moisturiser is packaged in a Cardboard box which inside as a simple white squeezy bottle with a green lid and simple green logo for the products logo and description.
The Simple Moisturiser as no artificial perfume or colour, no unnecessary ingredients and it is dermatologically tested and approved. This seemed the ideal product for my dry and sensitive skin as the last thing I wanted is a product which would upset my skin.
As the instructions suggest I smooth the moisturiser gently into my face and neck using upward and outward movements. The moisturiser is extremely light in consistency and glides onto my skin effortlessly. Afterwards my skin is feeling smooth and soft whilst looking radiant.
I cannot recommend this product enough, for the price it is fantastic and a product which I will continue to use again and again. The only downfall for me is that this moisturiser on my skin can only be used in the morning or day as for night time I like to use a rich cream to work it’s magic on my skin overnight.
The moisturiser is suitable for all skin types.

Product: Clinique Moisture Surge Extra Thirsty Skin Relief
Around two years ago, approximately a year before my wedding I decided to get my skincare routine together to ensure that my skin looked in tip top condition for my big day. I decided to go with the brand Clinique as I had tried their products before and they seemed to suit my skin well.
The lovely lady at the Clinique counter in Debenhams helped me choose out various products which were best suited to my skin type. One of those products was the Clinique Moisture Surge Extra Thirsty Skin Relief for dry skin, a little bit pricey at £34.00 for 50ml but a little really does go a long way.
The moisturiser is packaged in a lovely clear silver lid pot with the instantly recognisable Clinque logo and lettering embedded on the front of the pot.
The moisturiser is different to any other moisturiser I’ve used, it as a gel like consistency to the cream and glides onto my skin beautifully. I normally use a pea sized amount of product and distribute it evenly on my face and neck and gently rub the moisturiser into my skin in circular motions.
The moisturiser quickly sinks into my skin and leaves it looking radiant and feeling so smooth and soft. The thing I love best about this is that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily after use which is a huge plus point for me.
This is great for my dry skin, it keeps it well hydrated, it feels light and leaves my skin looking a lot better after use.
You can even use the moisturiser over make-up but I prefer to use this on a clean and bare face.
A pot of this lasts me 12 months which works out at just a couple of pounds per month.

Product: Pink Rabito IPhone 5 Case
Last year I wanted a cute but fun case for my iPhone 5 so I decided on the Pink Rabito Case from Amazon which I bought for £16.00. The case is made of a soft silicon rubber, as the above image shows the case comes complete with large attached bunny ears and also a detachable fluffy pompom tail.
The case fits with ease onto my phone and is a perfect secure and snug fit. The pompom tail also serves as a stand for your phone allowing the phone to free stand in an upright position on a flat surface.
The case as hollowed holes for all ports and jacks. The silicon case is extremely hard wearing and protects your phone from any bumps or scratches and keeps it dust free.
My only negative for this case is the detachable fluffy tail. The tail isn't very secure at all and on numerous occasions as fell off, very frustrating,.
Overall it's a lovely case which protects my phone well but the price of this along with the loose pompom I would definitely not purchase again.
The case is available to buy in lots of different colours; Baby pink, Hot pink, White, Blue, Green and many more.

Product: Posh Welly, Women’s Premium Welly
I didn't own a good quality pair of wellies so when the huge downpour hit the UK at the start of the year I desperately needed a pair which were going to be hard wearing. i did my research and the ones that came up tops were the Posh Wellies from Joules. I chose the black wellies in a size 4. The wellies are available in five different colours; Black, Green, Navy, Pink, Yellow and are available in sizes 3-8.
I found that my wellies were true to size. My order arrived extremely quickly and they were beautifully packaged in a lovely matt floral printed cardboard box. The quality and detail of the boots are fantastic. I find a lot of women’s wellies can look boring and frumpy but these are a lot prettier and much more feminine and girly. I was very pleasantly surprised as these looked much better in real life than what they did on the website.
The boots are black rubber and have a gold lined enamel joules plaque at the front of the boot just below the knee area; they also have a small cute buckle at the side of the boot which is adjustable and a striped stocking like red and yellow lining which runs down the middle of the back of the boot. The boots also have a pretty floral silky lining which I feel is a nice added extra touch and finishes off the look of the boots nicely. The boots have exceptional cold weather resistance, a new tread pattern for enhanced grip and a hardwearing rubber sole.
These are extremely comfortable, practical and are of a great design. I’m really pleased with my wellies; they are perfect for town and country and are built to last season after season, perfect. In all honesty I’m not sure if I would pay £69.95 again for a pair of wellies but I can definitely tell and feel the difference between these and a cheaper pair that I own. I know that I will be opting for these ones each time I need to wear this particular footwear so maybe it is worth spending that little bit more.
Huge thumbs up for me.
