Product: Mason Cash Lettered Dog Bowl
From: Pet Supermarket
Our family dog had a tendency to dive straight into her food at meals time causing the lightweight bowl she ate from to scatter around causing her food to spill. I was sick and tired of clearing this from at every mealtime therefore I decided to buy her a heavier bowl which would hopefully keep the dish in place meaning no more spills.
I decided on the Mason Cash Lettered Dog Bowl from Pet Supermarket after reading great reviews on the bowl. I searched around on line and Pet Supermarket came out the cheapest at just £7.49.
The Mason Cash Lettered Dog Bowl is made from a bite resistant ceramic and is a cane coloured bowl which is for every day use. The bowl is suitable for both food and water.
The bowl doesn’t slide around therefore no scattering around on the floor or any spillages. The bowl is extremely durable and as lasted our dog for over a year and is still going strong. This bowl is fantastic for our medium sized dog and is just the right size at approximately 25cm in diameter.
The bowl is extremely easy to clean and can even be used in the dishwasher but I personally prefer to hand wash the dogs bowls and simple clean these with a tiny bit of washing up liquid, rinse well and then simply pat dry with a kitchen towel.
I would definitely recommend this product, a fabulous product which works really well and does just as it’s intended to do.

Product: Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser
I’ve used the Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser on and off for several years now and I keep on going back to this product time and time again. This is fabulous if you are on a bit of a budget but at the same time still want a good quality product which works well.
I bought the moisturiser from Boots and I paid £4.50 for a 125ml bottle. Keep your eyes peeled for special offers as these are often on the 3 for 2 offers and are even sometimes on offer at half the price.
The moisturiser is packaged in a Cardboard box which inside as a simple white squeezy bottle with a green lid and simple green logo for the products logo and description.
The Simple Moisturiser as no artificial perfume or colour, no unnecessary ingredients and it is dermatologically tested and approved. This seemed the ideal product for my dry and sensitive skin as the last thing I wanted is a product which would upset my skin.
As the instructions suggest I smooth the moisturiser gently into my face and neck using upward and outward movements. The moisturiser is extremely light in consistency and glides onto my skin effortlessly. Afterwards my skin is feeling smooth and soft whilst looking radiant.
I cannot recommend this product enough, for the price it is fantastic and a product which I will continue to use again and again. The only downfall for me is that this moisturiser on my skin can only be used in the morning or day as for night time I like to use a rich cream to work it’s magic on my skin overnight.
The moisturiser is suitable for all skin types.

Product: Clinique Moisture Surge Extra Thirsty Skin Relief
Around two years ago, approximately a year before my wedding I decided to get my skincare routine together to ensure that my skin looked in tip top condition for my big day. I decided to go with the brand Clinique as I had tried their products before and they seemed to suit my skin well.
The lovely lady at the Clinique counter in Debenhams helped me choose out various products which were best suited to my skin type. One of those products was the Clinique Moisture Surge Extra Thirsty Skin Relief for dry skin, a little bit pricey at £34.00 for 50ml but a little really does go a long way.
The moisturiser is packaged in a lovely clear silver lid pot with the instantly recognisable Clinque logo and lettering embedded on the front of the pot.
The moisturiser is different to any other moisturiser I’ve used, it as a gel like consistency to the cream and glides onto my skin beautifully. I normally use a pea sized amount of product and distribute it evenly on my face and neck and gently rub the moisturiser into my skin in circular motions.
The moisturiser quickly sinks into my skin and leaves it looking radiant and feeling so smooth and soft. The thing I love best about this is that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily after use which is a huge plus point for me.
This is great for my dry skin, it keeps it well hydrated, it feels light and leaves my skin looking a lot better after use.
You can even use the moisturiser over make-up but I prefer to use this on a clean and bare face.
A pot of this lasts me 12 months which works out at just a couple of pounds per month.

Product: Pink Rabito IPhone 5 Case
Last year I wanted a cute but fun case for my iPhone 5 so I decided on the Pink Rabito Case from Amazon which I bought for £16.00. The case is made of a soft silicon rubber, as the above image shows the case comes complete with large attached bunny ears and also a detachable fluffy pompom tail.
The case fits with ease onto my phone and is a perfect secure and snug fit. The pompom tail also serves as a stand for your phone allowing the phone to free stand in an upright position on a flat surface.
The case as hollowed holes for all ports and jacks. The silicon case is extremely hard wearing and protects your phone from any bumps or scratches and keeps it dust free.
My only negative for this case is the detachable fluffy tail. The tail isn't very secure at all and on numerous occasions as fell off, very frustrating,.
Overall it's a lovely case which protects my phone well but the price of this along with the loose pompom I would definitely not purchase again.
The case is available to buy in lots of different colours; Baby pink, Hot pink, White, Blue, Green and many more.

Product: Posh Welly, Women’s Premium Welly
I didn't own a good quality pair of wellies so when the huge downpour hit the UK at the start of the year I desperately needed a pair which were going to be hard wearing. i did my research and the ones that came up tops were the Posh Wellies from Joules. I chose the black wellies in a size 4. The wellies are available in five different colours; Black, Green, Navy, Pink, Yellow and are available in sizes 3-8.
I found that my wellies were true to size. My order arrived extremely quickly and they were beautifully packaged in a lovely matt floral printed cardboard box. The quality and detail of the boots are fantastic. I find a lot of women’s wellies can look boring and frumpy but these are a lot prettier and much more feminine and girly. I was very pleasantly surprised as these looked much better in real life than what they did on the website.
The boots are black rubber and have a gold lined enamel joules plaque at the front of the boot just below the knee area; they also have a small cute buckle at the side of the boot which is adjustable and a striped stocking like red and yellow lining which runs down the middle of the back of the boot. The boots also have a pretty floral silky lining which I feel is a nice added extra touch and finishes off the look of the boots nicely. The boots have exceptional cold weather resistance, a new tread pattern for enhanced grip and a hardwearing rubber sole.
These are extremely comfortable, practical and are of a great design. I’m really pleased with my wellies; they are perfect for town and country and are built to last season after season, perfect. In all honesty I’m not sure if I would pay £69.95 again for a pair of wellies but I can definitely tell and feel the difference between these and a cheaper pair that I own. I know that I will be opting for these ones each time I need to wear this particular footwear so maybe it is worth spending that little bit more.
Huge thumbs up for me.

New Years Resolutions.
I try not to think of these as resolutions as such as I find that 9 times out of 10 resolutions do not work and only put pressure on to a person. Therefore I see them more as a personal goal, a fresh new year with something new to aim for or work towards.
My goals for this year are:
* To save more money. Since buying my first home at the beginning of last year it's time to build our savings back up a little and add more to that emergency fund. We were definitely overspending on our grocery shopping last year, so I decided to do a meal plan for this week and we actually managed to cut back our weekly shop by almost half and that too was with a few little added extras, bonus. I am also taking my own lunch to work and cutting out on all those unnecessary buys.
* To drink more water. This must be one of my "resolutions" that appear year after year after year, this year I'm determined to crack it once and for all, wish me luck.
* Eat more healthily. I'm not "too" bad at the moment and I only have one takeaway a week as a treat but I admit that improvements do need to be made. I am more of a snacker and I think nothing more of having a chocolate bar and crisps at work or once again in front of the TV of an evening, this needs to stop.
* Pampering. I feel as though I've been neglecting myself a little lately. More weekly facemasks are needed, sticking to my monthly pedicures and 6 weekly hair salon appointments, body moisturising after every shower etc... If I look good then I always feel better about myself.
* Read more. I love reading but I sadly find that there is not enough hours in the day, especially with working full time and travelling to and from work using public transport. My aim is to read at least one new book every month or so.
* New job. I want something a little closer to home and a little more challenging. Earning a higher salary would be a huge plus point too.
So there you go, my aims and goals to work towards in the Year 2014.
Happy New Year to you all, I hope it's a good one.
Lush: Mask of Magnaminty
Price: £5.25 - 125g, £9.25 - 315g
I'm a huge fan of Lush Products and have been so for many, many years now. I remember one of the first products I bought from there was the Lush Mask of Magnaminty Face and Back Pack.
I first bought Mask of Magnaminty around 6-7 years back and I have been using it weekly ever since.
I always buy the 125g size pot of Mask of Magnaminty for £5.25, I purchase mine from the Lush store but it is also available on the Lush Official Site www.lush.co.uk. I have bought the big pot in the past but as the mask doesn't have a long use by date I find this a waste of money as I always end up with half the product still left in the tub. The use by date is the only downside for me as you must use the product in the space of 3 months or so. Although I do get a lot of use from the 125g pot and it always lasts me for the 3 or so months until I can buy a new one.
The mask is designed as a face and back pack for oily skin. I'm prone to oily skin, especially on my t-zone so this face mask is perfect for me. I've never used it as a back pack as I simply have no need to use it on my back as my skin in that area is completely fine and as never caused me any problems.
The packaging for the mask is in a very simple matt black screw top lid pot with the Mask of Magnaminty logo and description in white lettering at the front of the pot, all other relevant information is printed on stickers at the front and back of the pot. Also on the sticker at the front of the pot is the products use by date and also the name of the person who made it which I feel is a lovely added extra touch.
The packaging is very simple but still looks effective. The pots are recyclable and if you take 5 pots back to store washed and ready for them to be recycled, you can choose a fresh face mask or hair mask for free.
The mask itself is very thick in consistency and smells very strongly of a pleasant fresh mint peppermint smell.
The mask glides onto my skin extremely easily without any glooping giving it a slight tingly feel. The mask contains exfoliating grains which give a gentle scrub effect when I wash the mask off. I apply the mask for 10-15 minutes and then rinse my face with warm water to remove it.
After I use this my skin always feels baby soft and super smooth. It leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean and extremely fresh. My skin looks really healthy and it always gives it a nice glow.
I use the mask at least once a week and I have definitely seen an improvement with my skin after using this each week.
This is my all time favourite face mask and I always go back to it time and time again.

Product: Walkers French Fries
I'm a huge fan of crisps and I can honestly say that I love the majority of them, I seriously could eat packet after packet after packet, oops.
One of my favourite crisps are Walkers French Fries, especially the ready salted flavour which is what I'm going to base my review on today.
I normally buy a six pack of Walkers Ready Salted French Fries from Asda for £1.68. At the moment you can get three packets of six for just £4.00 so I stocked up on a few packets of these.
I like to eat French Fries as they have less fat and calories than the majority of other crisps out there and they contain no artificial colours. The ready salted French Fries contain just 83 Calories which make these a perfect snack when you are craving something salty or just as a little treat.
The crisps come packaged in a red striped foiled sealed packet with yellow lettering for the French Fries logo and picture and white lettering for the product description. All other relevant information is printed at the back of the packet.
The French Fries are long, thin and slender with a slight wave to them. They are extremely crunchy once you bite into them and have a delicious crispiness to them. They taste salty and of baked potato which is the perfect combination for me. These are so moreish and I always want to eat more than just the one packet.
French Fries are also available in three other flavours; Cheese and Onion, Worcester Sauce and Salt and Vinegar.
These are available from supermarkets and the majority of independent food stores.
A product which I will continue to buy time and time again, the perfect treat.

Product: Baby Annabell Doll Stroller
From: Toys R Us
A few years back I bought my niece the Baby Annabell Doll Stroller for her birthday. Her parents had bought her the Baby Annabell Doll for her birthday so I figured that this would make an ideal gift.
I bought the Baby Annabell Doll Stroller for £18.99 from Toys R Us. A little expensive for a doll stroller but I did have a 20% off voucher so that knocked the price down by a couple of pounds.
The stroller is pink and white, the handles and wheels are pink whilst the frame of the stroller is white. There is also an adorable fabric cupcake design on the seating area making it extra cute. The seating area is strongly attached to the frame to ensure that it stays securely in place.
The stroller also comes with a pink netted bag which is attached on the handles and frame of the stroller, I think this is a little nice added extra and a lovely extra touch. My niece usually keeps her dolls bottles and small blanket in this.
The stroller as height adjustable handles (67cm) and also a safety harness to ensure that the doll stays in place.
The stroller also as a compact fold for easy storage.
The stroller is extremely sturdy and very well made. This has provided my niece with hours of fun and she still as it till this day. She loves to push her dolly around in this and feels very grown up doing so.
She as also taken this for walks in the park and around the shops and it still looks as good as new.
I would definitely recommend this to others, a great little gift which will make any little girl happy.
It is recommended that the minimum age to use this item is 3 years old and it is not suitable for children under 36 months.

Product: Crayola Beginnings 24 Jumbo Crayons
Around 5-6 months ago I bought the Crayola Beginnings 24 Jumbo Crayons for when my 3 year old niece comes to visit our house as a little something to try and keep her occupied.
I bought the crayons for £4.10 from Amazon. The Crayons come packaged in a see through plastic round tub with a removable lid. The tub contains 24 jumbo colourful crayons.
The crayons are safe for children 12 months plus to use. As the crayons are so chunky these make it extra easy for small hands to grip them comfortably and with ease.
I found with normal size crayons these were too hard for her to hold and they always seem to break far too easily, the jumbo ones are perfect for toddlers and as of yet we have had no breakages.
My niece loves to colour with these, the variety of colour shades show up really well on paper and are of fantastic quality.
Not only are these great for colouring as she also loves to tell us the colour of each crayon and seems to have so much fun emptying the crayons out of the tub and placing them all back in again, oh the joys of being a 3 year old.
I would definitely recommend these to others, fantastic quality and great value for money.

Product: Lush The Melting Snowman Bath Melt
I'm a huge fan of Lush products and I have been buying their products for several years now. Over the years being one of their loyal customers I have tried heaps of their products therefore I feel that I'm in a good position to give an honest and accurate review on these items.
I first bought Lush The Melting Snowman Bath Melt back in December 2011 and I have been buying it every year around Christmas time ever since. You can only buy the Snowman Bath Melt during the Christmas period, it is normally released every year around the end of November and is available to purchase until the start of January.
Lush The Melting Snowman is of course shaped as a Snowman; a white body and head with a orange carrot shaped nose and two chocolate drops for brown eyes and a further three brown chocolate drops are placed on it's body area. Even though the drops are actual chocolate I still wouldn't advise anyone to eat these. I normally remove the nose, eyes and other buttons from the snowman before I drop this into my bath as I find that these are only on for decorative purchases and do not melt into the water.
The bath melt is priced at £2.25 and can be bought from any Lush Store or www.lush.co.uk which is Lush's official site.
The Snowman Bath Melt is made of water softening bicarb of soda, cocoa butter and shea butter. It is fragranced with Hot Toddy, which is a favourite blend from Christmas past containing cinnamon, clove, patchouli, benzoin, lime and sweet wild orange oils.
To ensure maximum use I always separate my bath melts into several pieces. I find with the snowman melt that I can get three uses out of it; one being the head and I then break the body into two pieces. It's almost too cute to break into pieces but by doing this the cost per bath is then only 75p.
To use I always run my bath first and then I drop the bath melt into the water. It doesn't take long for the bath melt to dissolve therefore I can step into the water quite quickly.
The melt turns my bath water a nice milky white colour. Other than this you don't really notice anything more to start with but as the melt contains oils you will certainly notice a difference afterwards to the feel and appearance of your skin once you have taken your bath.
This leaves my skin feeling baby soft, super smooth and smelling gorgeous. After use I always feel as if I have had a luxurious bath which can only be a good thing.
I will continue to buy this each year, a nice little luxurious festive treat which gets me into the Christmas spirit.

Product: Lush Magic Wand Bubble Bar
I first tried the Lush Magic Wand Bubble Bar when my husband bought me one for Christmas a few years ago. You can buy the wand from Lush and it is priced at £4.95.
For those who have tried Lush's Snow Fairy Shower Gel the Magic Wand Bubble Bar is basically a solid version of this, their best selling shower gel.
The wand is reusable so you can use it time and time again until it runs out which seems to take forever.
To use you simply swish the wand in the water before getting into your bath or you can place the wand under the running water tap, I've tried both of these techniques and both work as equally well as the other. I normally swish my wand in the water or under the running water tap for approximately 15 seconds or so and I find that this is plenty of enough time to see results.
Once I have done the above my bath is soon covered with lashes of sweet smelling pink bubbles and turns the water a lovely shade of pink. The smell reminds me of Candy Floss and leaves my skin smelling super sweet and feeling silky smooth afterwards.
After use always ensure that you keep the wand stored somewhere dry. I store mine in a sealed clear plastic food bag and pop it inside my bathroom cabinet.
I love this, it's such a sweet, cute and girlie gift, I would definitely recommend.

Product: Pyrex Glass Measuring Jug
I bought the Pyrex Glass Measuring Jug earlier this year when I moved into my new home. Whilst I lived with my parents we also had one of these for numerous years so I already knew that this was a good quality and long lashing product.
I bought the jug for £3.49 from Amazon. These are also available in many home stores and also supermarkets, prices range between £3.00-£5.00.
The Pyrex Jug is made from Borosilicate Glass, the glass is very thick and quite weighty but not too overly so that it's uncomfortable to hold. It also as easy grip handles which ensures a firm and secure hold. The product also has a high thermal shock resistance. It is stain and scratch resistance and does not retain flavours.
The jug is also oven safe (to 300 degrees), microwave, fridge and freezer safe and is also suitable to be put into the dishwasher. I've used the jug in all of those listed and it as been absolutely fine and still looks as new.
The jug as the same ml and pint measurements on each side, this is fab for both right and left handed users. The measurements are really easy to see and read and are also very accurate. I've used this many, many times and it never fails me.
The jug is of fantastic quality and does the job it's intended to do, I'm extremely pleased that I bought this product. I now have numerous Pyrex products in my kitchen and I fully intend to keep on adding to my collection.

Product: Walkers Quavers
I'm a huge fan of crisps and one of my favourite crisps to snack on is Walkers Quavers. Quavers contain only 88 calories per packet making these one of the lowest calories crisps around.
For those of you who haven't tasted Quavers they are a light, crispy, curly and cheesy flavoured potato snack. It states in the description that Quavers are incredibly cheesy which I disagree with, cheesy yes but a light taste of cheese and definitely not as overpowering as your regular cheese and onion crisps or wotsits.
Quavers are made from fried potato granules which are infused with cheesy flavouring. As well as cheesy flavour Quavers also come available in prawn cocktail flavour and also salt and vinegar flavour.
Quavers come packaged in a bright yellow foil packet with the product description, logo and picture printed at the front whilst all other relevant information is printed at the back of the packet.
I normally pay £1.68 for a packet of 6 of these from Tesco, although over the weekend they were on special offer and I managed to buy two packets of 6 for £3.00.
I love these, they are very tasty and extremely moreish, I always end up wanting more!!!
One of my favourite snacks which I will continue to buy time and time again.

Product: Tesco Ibuprofen Caplets
At the moment both myself and my husband are feeling unwell. My husband as a head cold, cold and a sore throat whilst I have dental pain from a deep root filling at the dentist which I had last week.
We decided to stock up our medication cupboard Friday evening after work in preparation for the weekend. One of the items we bought were the Tesco Ibuprofen 200mg Caplets.
The box of Ibuprofen contain 16 Caplets and I paid 32p for these, making these just 2p per caplet. The packaging is very simple, a Silver cardboard box with the Tesco logo and product description embedded on the front whilst all other relevant information is printed on the back of the cardboard box. Inside the box are the 16 caplets, these are kept safe and secure in a sealed plastic packaging where you simply pop the caplet out of the back of the bubble.
Please ensure that you read all the information very carefully.
I swallow the caplets with a drink of water with or just after food, the caplets are coated which make them super easy to swallow. It is recommended that Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years of age take 1 or 2 tablets up to three times a day, as required. Do not give to children under 12 years of age.
You should not take the caplets more than every 4 hours and you should also not exceed 6 tablets in any 24 hour period. It also states that you should talk to a doctor or pharmacist if you do not get better or if new symptoms occur.
These are fantastic and gave fast and effective pain relief for me and my husband. I would definitely recommend them to others, they are easy to swallow, a fantastic price and they do the job which they are intended to do.
I am not a medical profession so please ensure that you always read the information on the box and the information leaflet inside the box yourself. If in doubt then please speak to a medical profession.
