Step up two is the second additon to the first movie, step up. It is based upon entirely new characters and a different storyline so as to not make it boring. It still uses the Marylin school of arts.
Andie West, an outcast street dancer is sent to the elite school of arts. Only to become rebellious and to form her own crew with rising talent Chase Matthews to compete at the streets. The streets is a dance competition in which Andies old crew ( the elusive 410) have won for a few years.
Chase and Andie set out to find some hidden talents that are going on under the radar at the school af the arts. They find enough members and begin practicing. They are actually very good at working together and enter the streets by doing a prank involving the 410's leader, Tuck
They arrive at the streets and Andie performs against her old crew with many people watching on. Find out the ending by watching the film :)
Amazing choreography. Amazing acting. Brilliant choice of actors
My opinion on this film is that is is choreographed brilliantly and the relationships between the characters have really been thought out. It shows you that dancing helps people to carry on in life and a quote from the film "it isn't about where you're from or what you've got, it's what you make of what you've got". It send messages to people all over the country who also enjoy dancing. The way that the actors work makes you feel involved in the plot and storylines.
The actors and actresses feel confortable in their roles, and when watching it makes it more believeable. The roles they play may influence many dancers to complete in dance competions like "the streets"
The dancing that they acheive is amazing, with several dance crews performing at the end. The results that they gain from the audience both on screen and at home, are truly spectacular. I think that everyone would enjoy this film, particulary those who enjoy to watch, or to dance themselves.
I would recommend this film to anyone, and it is definately able to be watched and watched. For this reason alone i would recommend buying it. As with "step up" it is an unforgettable film with some brilliant music and dance skill involved.
Mr Beans holiday is another of Rowan Atkinson's amazingly hilarious films. He is a brilliant actor and really knows how to make people laugh. I love this film and always watch it, over and over.
It all starts when Mr Bean wins a trip to Cannes, but being Mr Bean, things can't run that smoothly. Whats meant to be a simple train ride straight there, turns into a chaotic nonsense ridden journey. He first looses his passport and travel documents before boarding the train and instantly get shhoved together with a young french boy. He accompanies him throughout the film.
When arriving in France, Mr Bean and the young french boy perform in a small market town, creating money for themselves. They then tem up with a french woman with a car exactly like Mr Beans green car. The public beleive Mr Bean to have captured the young french boy and that he has been kidnapped, this is not true.
Mr Bean heroically takes the boy back to his father at the premiere of a new film, after a few more mishaps along the way!
My favourite part of the film, is where he stumbles upon a small french town, when suddenly, a tank comes over the wall and blows a building up. But dont worry! it's all part of a television commercial which he finds himself thrown into as an extra. He then causes more chaos when he need to chatge his video camera up - as you do - and he unplugs the detonation device. The Director preses the button and nothing happens, so when Mr Bean replugs the plug back in, the director is hit by the blast.
i think this is a hilarious film, great for all the family. Youll laugh your socks off! An unforgettable film, with Mr Bean it always seems the case. Rowan Atkinson is a brilliant actor, who knows exactly how to make people laugh. This is another one of his amazing films.
I would recommend this film to anyone who enjoys a good laugh. Great for all ages, young and old. I laughed all throughout this film, which can be a nuisance for other people who want to hear whats happening!
All those Mr Bean fans, prepare to be blown away again by some more action packed humour
Emperor penguins are born to sing, except for Mumble who can't. It shows his struggle at life as all he wants to do is dance. Tap dance that is.
His behaviour get him booted out of his land and hes left by himself. He is soon joined by 5 spanish? friends, and a penguin named Lovelace. Lovelace claims to have been spoken to by "Magic Beans", but Mumble suspects otherwise.
Mumble is in love with an emporer penguin, Gloria but as when finding mates, they sing, he is unable to do this. Armed with his trustworthy friends he goes to seek Gloria in the Emperor kingdom. He dances to her, and surprisingly their songs match. He gets all the other penguins dancing but is stopped by the tradtional kings of the land. He is sent away again.
Mumble soon discovers the reason that there is no fish and embarks upon the epic battle against humankind.
This is one of my favourite films, and will always watch it to cheer me up. The idea of pernguins singing and dancing, to me is hilarious. I enjoy it and so does my younger sister, so it's great for little children. It also is quite educational as the fish we eat has to be taken from somewhere. It shows that it can be the primary food source for other species and we are taking it unknowingly.
I love happy feet, he is so cute and fuzzy, but you get to see him transform from egg to an adult penguin. His transformation and his attitudes are amazing and really lovely to watch. His never give up nature is really inspiring aswell.
His tap dancing is amazing and he gets the whole family having happy feet also. The way he deals with the predgidice because he dances and doesn't sing is amazing also.
When Mumble finds out that his father dropped him as an egg, at this point in the film, watchers feel so close to him that some are brought to tears. But, being mumble, he goes about doing something to prove that just because he can't sing, doesnt mean that he can't be a true emperor penguin.
A brilliant family film, great for everyone. The quality of the animation is amazing and youll definately enjoy it!. A recommendation from me :)
Step up is a dance movie. It follows Tyler Gage (Channing Tatum) and his quest to convince Nora Clarke (Jenna Dewan) that he can dance. Both dancers come from very different backgrounds. Tyler from a street dancing community and Nora a dancer at an elite school of arts.
The time comes for Nora to need to practice for her school showcase, when suddenly her dance partner sprains his ankle and he cannot practice. She assures him she will be fine, whilst frantically searching for a new parner to rehearse with.
When Tyler has to do his community service at the school (he and two friends trashed the school one night) he sees Nora dancing and takes it upon himself to become her parner in the showcase.
She teaches him the routine, a very difficult task as alot of ballet is required. But Tyler incorporates some of his own street dancing moves into the routine. She accepts and they rehearse without difficulty. When her orginal partner gets better, Nora faces a difficult decision as what to do.
If you want to know the ending, i suggest you watch the film :)
I love this film, it's really brilliant with some amazing dance moves. The routine produced is fantastic. I think that the actors look so confortable, that it makes people at home feel more relaxed and enjoy the film more.
It is inspirational as Tyler comes from a very different background, but can still succed in dance ans well as any students who are "posh"
I think that the relationships shown in this film are portryed really fantastically. The way that Nora and Tyler dance together shows chemistry between them. Especially during the rooftop dance. I love the way that they dance and both ballet and street dance style moves can be incorporated to produce a stunning routine.
During the film, Tyler quits on the dance routine and doesn't attend anymore. But when he comes to his senses, he goes back to Nora and asks if he can dance with her. He doesnt give up and is inspirational to everyone.
I first watched this film with a group of friends and we all loved it. The dancing is brilliant and the two backgrounds coming together is very nice to watch.
The devil wears prada is a brilliant film, with an amazing story to go along with it. The film follows Andy, an unfashionable girl who get a job at the big magazine office as the editor in chiefs (Meryl Streep) assistant. She soon realises she is out of her depth and seeks the advice of one of her fellow collegues. It doesnt help that runway is full of size-0 worker and size 6 andy sticks out a mile. He helps her to discover the true fashionista inside of her and she ends up doing her job perfectly.
The only problem is she has to sacrifice her personal life to become so good at her job. The time comes when it is fashion week in paris, and miranda (Streep) invites Andy (Hathaway) instead of The other assistant in the office. She than has to face the hard decision of going in the place of someone she works with, or to stop and lose her job.
I personally found this film really good. A great buy and perfect for a girly night in.
Brilliant film, Unmissable and amazing acting. Definate Reccomend
I got this book, expecting something like a "horror". Usual scary stories i read are not really scary and i find myself wishing for a better one. But now, i knid of wish i hadn't, as this book scared me from start to finish. P.j Tracy create a suspense ridden book, wihth some truly fantastic descriptive language.
The book is about 3 friends, sharon, Grace and annie and there quest to find out what is going on in the small town of four corners. It is far from any mobile signal and they find themselves stumbling into a terrifying plot of people showing the world who they are. There are also people frantically trying to find them and persuade superiors to help. Read to find out more. I wouldnt want to spoil the plot or ending so i wont say any more :)
To begin with, the book has a scary insight into what happens, although it is not explained until the end. I wont tell you the exact cause as it would ruin it for you!
P.J Tracy is in actual fact a mother and daughter team of writers and the final product is a brilliantly, terrifying story.
A must read for those who like read scary stories.
Heinz salad cream is perfect for salads, surprisingly enough.
I personally love it with potatoes in a potatoe salad. Its easy to use with a flip top lid to squirt the salad cream out. Its great for messy people, as it has a squirty lid and no messy knifes in the bottle to get the last bit out nonsense. You can also use salad cream on a sandwich.
Its quite healthy with 50cals pers 15g serving. So its great on salad to give it that extra zing. Salad cream is perfect for people who eat salas on a regular basis.
It taste zingy and a bit like mayonaise. But alot nicer. It is smooth and flowy compared to mayonaise. its not cheap, but it depends where and what offers you get when you buy it.
Salad cream is not that different to mayonnaise, just the taste is not quite as harsh. I use it as an alternative as it also spreads alot easier. Because of the squirty lid on the top of this bottle, it makes it easy to squirt where you want it.
As it is more runny than mayonnaise it makes it perfect for a sandwich or in a salad. Its easier to mix in with the salad which definately makes it easier.
Overall, i really like salad cream, and would recommend it to anyone who wants a bit more tang in their salad.
These yoghurts are perfect for children, with 3 flavours (two of each) Strawberry, Apricot and Raspberry, there is something for everyone. They are a nice little size for children to eat and are a good healty snack with 55cals in one pot. Great for hungry children while your cooking the tea.
The three flavours are very nice and tasty. They are strong enough to taste the flavour, but not too strong as to be overpowering. They are also very cheap youghurts as they are tesco value but they dont have a compromise on the flavour as it is still good.
These youghurts have no fruit bits which is good as i have found that children dont like the "bity" taste of youghurts and wont eat them if they have bits in.
Adults can also eat these, although i would reccommend a maybe bigger sized youghurt as they are not very big at all. I don't know of any tesco value bigger sized yougurts than these, so i cant help you there.
Overall, these are perfect for little children to eat, and great for lunchboxes. The three flavours actually taste like there meant to with lovely tasting creamy youhurt.
Reccommend for children and lunchboxes.
I recently got a free tester while at the clothes show in December, and have used it since. The only problem is i can't seem to find it anywhere to buy.
It is advertised as a cooling gel for hot and tired feet, and that is exactly what it does. It makes a sound on your feet and also tickles slightly. Cools down feet instantly after a hard day on your feet. It does exactly what it is advertised as doing. It also says it deodorises feet, but cant comment on that as mine dont smell :)
It smells quite nice too, kind of floraly but with a hint of fruit somewhere. When it first comes out the can, it bubbles up into a foam like substance and crakles for a minute until it is all gone and absorbed into your feet. The canister is of a very nice design and colour, but doesnt seem to pop out on the shelves as i havent found it since.
Overall, a really good product, if you want to cool your feel after a tiring day. Smells great aswell
I love the Impule Tease. It smells exotic and different. Kind of fruity smelling, but with a twist of something. It also smells clean and zingy. Almost like orange but with something else mixed in. I personally love the impulse range, and i just happened to buy Tease whilst out shopping. I am now in love with it, and buy it all the time.
The packaging is a light blue canister, with a twist around lid so that it doesn't get sprayed everywhere, which is good for people like me- who are generally messy when it comes to sprays. It has a darker blue bow shaped cross at the bottom, with pink and golden eyes in it. They could be seen as quite scary but they seem innocent to me.
I would reccomend this to anyone who likes the impulse range. This particular variety- Tease, smells fresher and younger. It isnt like other sprays, which can be kind of sticky when they stick to your skin. But this doesnt even feel like its there.
Its pretty cheap, especially if you can get it on offer in the supermarket. You could wear it everyday as it's so cheap.
When in the pharmacy, i thought i'd try something different and give this powder a go. It says it controls shine and minimise the look of pores, and i'm glad to say it acheived this.
I purchased the shade *001 (transparent) as i didn't want to get all the tasters out and have a go at it. This powder works really well, controls the shine and minimises pores.
It says that it will control shine for 5 hours, but i have found myself applying it more often than that- at about 3 hours, as it seemed to rub off easily. I brought my power for £3.59 which was cheaper than some brands. In my opinion it definately works and i would reccommend you to try it :)
I was happy with the result i got - a flawless make-up with strange colourings. It doesnt make you look like youve had a spray tan go wrong which is a plus. Overall, it's a really good make up that looks good and is cheap enough to wear every day
I brought these straightners when they first came out in argos. I have used them on occasion to straighten my hair. When i first got them i used them every day, but they seemed to dry my hair out.
They work well, heating up quicker than any other straightners i have owned. The cordless aspect is really good aswell as you can walk round the house whilst doing other things. The end result is also very satisfying and poker straight.
These straightners can also be used for curling hair, as i do on occasion also. Although difficult, the cordless function makes it so much easier.
As it has no cord if you dont want it to, you can freely do your hair whilst doing other things. So if your in a rush in the morning you can mult-task.
I would definately reccomend these straightners and, as they have some down in price, there is an even better reason to buy them.
Foxs Party Rings are an amzing little biscuit. They have a shortcake base, with icing deligtfully spread across the top. They are nicely decorated with lines of a different colour of icing sprinkled on top. They are ring shaped with a hole in the middle. This means they can be snapped nicely into two bits, to avoid the argument of the last biscuit!
They are perfect for lunchboxes or even parties (who would have thought it! ) Just the right sized biscuit for a nice snack. They are great if your not too hungry, but feel like something to eat. They shortbread crumbles nicely in the mouth and the icing starts to spread evenly over the tongue. They are really nice tasting.
The packaging itself is very attractive with bright, bold colours used to represent the bright bold biscuits inside. The biscuits inside are divided into sections, which stop it all getting messy inside.
Overall they are great family favourites, children and adults love them. They are reccommended by me! They get a thumbs up from me :)
Primeval series one mainly looked at how and why "anomalies" were appearing. It also involved massive cover-up stories to not alert and panic the public about monsters. In actual fact, these monsters do kill rather alot of anonymous people.
The monsters are all from the past, and came into our time and world through anomalies. All the anomalies seen to happen in One Place, and nowhere else? A bit confusing, but it would have made filming easier.
Primeval was a prime-time saturday night television programme on itv. It was a big-budget production with some big storylines and endings. Throughtout Nick Cutter (leader of the detection of anomalies) discoveres his wife, who went missing 8 years before, is alive and well and traveling through time. He becomes attracted to main woman Claudia Brown, only to find that in the final episode of series one, he comes back through the anomaly to find her not there and noone to have any recollection of her whatsoever
The reason behind her mystery disappearance is that something in the past has changed, and is explained to them by a desperate Cutter. They all believe him to have cracked up and finally gone crazy.
Overall, it is not a very realistic film, but is very enjoyable for everyone. A definate Reccommend from me
This game is something i had brought for me at christmas, and i really enjoyed it - at first.
To begin with, the game was pretty self explanitory. You are a fashion designer, dressing models, making clothes, doing runway shows... etc. Both me and my sister recieved this games and we both completed all but one of the levels in a day. The last level was particuly hard, with everything having to co-ordinate and match. Even make up was a crucial thing. Up to date i have still had no luck in completing the whole game, something which i would have liked to do.
The game, in itself is enjoyable, but only once around. When you have completed it you already know the tasks coming up and you can do them in an instant. Becomes boring after a task is completed
You can do a vast range of this, such as photgraph models, do hair and make-up, dress them and design clothes. The hardest part was perfoming in a runway show, but that is ok when you get the hang of it.
Overall, its a good game that can be completed quickily. Easy to use and simple instructions guide you through what to do.
