I have been programming computers since 1967. Up until 1980, everything was in assembly language and on mainframes. Since then, nearly all has been on PC's, beginning with CP/M. I currently write mostly database applications, though I also love telecommunications work and C language. Perhaps my proudest achievement was the telecommunications server for Verizon's (then New Jersey Bell / Bell Atlantic) 911 system initially installed to serve the entire state of New Jersey.
