This is the second Indesit dishwasher that I have owned. I bought again because I find them to be exceptional value for money. My last one lasted approx. 10 years - without breaking down. We needed to purchase a semi integrated model and some that we looked out were outrageously expensive. At the end of the day - they are all there to do the same job. The Indesit may not have as many programmes as some and it doesn't have a fancy digital number readout but it has as many programmes as you will need ( I only ever use the main wash and the rinse function ) ,it does a really good job of washing and drying the dishes and it appears to be as good quality as more expensive models. On the down side it is a little bit noisy so it's not perhaps the best choice if you have an open plan living /kitchen arrangement.
Great value for money.
I have had my Samsung installed in my new kitchen for a while now and it definitely adds the finishing quality touch! The stainless steel exterior is extremely smart and does not seem to get finger marks like other kitchen appliances that I have. All it requires is the occasional wipe over with a damp cloth and a quick 'polish' with a dry one. Inside there is acres of space with deep door shelving and great sized fruit and veg boxes. The shelves, boxes etc all seem to be much stronger and of a higher quality than my old Zanussi. On the down side: It is a little bit noisy - but then it does live in my kitchen and not my bedroom so it isn't too much of an issue. Also, the icemalker does take up quite a bit of room and, to be honest, is something I could live without. But on the whole, really love it!
I've had my 206cc from new - November 2006. I love the look of my car and it has a fantastic size boot for all that shopping girls! But .. I'm thinking of changing my car and won't opt for another 206cc. I've had electrical problems with the windows, central locking issues - which has necessitated me on more than one occasion clambering in from the passenger seat and most recently, the driver's seat adjustment broke -Has this ever happened to ANYONE ANWHERE?? Peugeot have quoted around £1000 for a new seat. Not good! The drive I can only describe as 'skittish'. It often feels as if its not quite solid on the road and likely to go its own way! I also find that with the 1600 engine that the petrol consumption is quite poor. I average about 37 miles to the gallon - which works out pretty expensive these days.( I do mixed driving and I'm always really careful to keep to keep revs down etc ) So - good looks yes but buy again - No.
